Our hideaway is only metres from restaurants, bars and cafe's yet tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac. Leave the car behind - six beaches within walking distance or take a dip in our solar heated plunge pool. Enjoy all that Norah Head has to offer, with coastal bush walks, protected lifeguard beaches while staying in your own modern bungalow. Visit the iconic Norah Head lighthouse, just a short walk away. Our house is situated at the back of the property in case you need anything. Great for couples, solo adventurers, or business travellers.

This is a comfortable, clean, and cozy place to stay! The owners were very responsive and helpful. It is quiet yet walking distance to shops. We have family in the area, and we will definitely stay here again!

We are glad you liked our place although it was a shame it was during the extreme fire danger weather of the last week. At Hideaway Cottage we are trying to minimise our environment foot print. We have solar hot water, tank water for toilet and outdoor use and PV panels with a battery on our electrical system. Our cottage has louvre windows all round to let the sea breeze waft through, ceiling fans in living area and bedroom. There is a swimming pool if you need a dip. Will installing air conditioning solve our problems or compound them?
