Beach block near Pier shops and restaurants, Historic cottage 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 B

Our house is on the beach block! in 2 minutes walk your toes are in the sand and you can go back and forth as much as you want (to go get a drink or to change your swimsuit or to grab a book.) This cottage is located downtown in the historic district in the heart of Old Naples, near the famous Naples Pier, white sand beach and walking distance to the globally acclaimed third street and fifth avenue shops and dining districts. Our charming, historic House was built in 1929 and is one of the first houses built in Naples. It has a large private parking in the front, for up to 4 cars. Built how they used to, all wood with high ceilings! is 1850 sf, 3 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 bath. Not your typical rental, this is were we used to live and where we host our family and friends. Recently remodeled with beautiful top-of-the-line kitchen stainless steel appliances with white quartz counter-top, new bathrooms with shower and tub. This house is clean, freshly painted and has beautiful watercolors throughout. There is central A/C and heater. HD flat screen TV with Roku (you can bring your Neftlix or prime login so you’ll be right we’re you left), Electric Piano and free WIFI. The kitchen is open to the dining room and the leaving room. It has a oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. Master BR with King bed, choice of pillows and private bathroom with shower. Second bedroom has a new king size bed. Third BR has full size bed and 1/2 bath. . Main bathroom with tub and shower. Laundry room/office with large size h/e washer and dryer, Original wood-floors recently refinished are throughout the entire house. We have central a/c with ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, kitchen, leaving room and patio. Nice outdoor patio with private garden…with outdoor furniture: table, chairs umbrella and lounge chairs and charcoal grill, surrounded by lush tropical landscape. Nice place to grill eat or get sun if at the beach is windy. We provide a fully furnished kitchen, linens and blankets, towels, choice of pillows, iron, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, air dryer etc... beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach towels. I'm sure I'm forgetting something so please just ask. We live next door so we can help.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Naples home over Thanksgiving. The location could not be more perfect, just steps from the beach and the house itself felt warm, welcoming, and truly lived-in in the best possible way. It’s beautifully appointed, with the most incredible family artwork throughout that gave it such charm and character.The owners were fantastic—kind, attentive, and so quick to respond to anything we needed. It made our stay smooth and stress-free. We would absolutely rent this home again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place in Naples.

Quintessential Florida beach house. Steps to the beach and to 3rd Street’s shops and dining. Location couldn’t be better and hosts were attentive and helpful. This is a highly recommended property in beautiful Old Naples Beach.

Just Charming

Great location. Walknto beach and both downtown areas in Naples. Cottage...decorated with mostly second Furniture glassware etc. Beds and sheets Could have been newer and in better shape.

Our Beach Cottage Experience !

Our stay was lovely! Initially, we were not sure about this historical, older rental, but the longer we stayed the more we began to love the simplicity and beauty of this quaint, cozy cottage! Our oldest son enjoyed playing the piano too!! It is literally a hop, skip, and jump from the ocean. Who can complain about walking to the ocean with one's coffee in the morning! The construction next door did not bother us after awhile! We could really only focus on all the beauty!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay! The best feature is its close proximity to the beach. Not having to worry about parking and lugging beach stuff a long distance was great! Also, the close proximity made it easy to head back to the beach for the wonderful sunsets! It's super close to the 3rd street shops, and an easy walk to 5th Avenue. Inside, the cottage has lots of character, it's comfortable, including the beds, lots of hot water and the AC works great. Plenty of ceiling fans too. Kitchen has everything you could need (although it could use a larger skillet). Another plus is that Daria responds quickly to any questions or concerns. Note that one bedroom has a full bed, so that may not work for two people.

Old Naples perfection

I have nothing but rave reviews for this cottage near the beach. Oozing charm and history but with all the modern conveniences. Beautifully decorated with unique art work and lovely yet comfortable furniture. Our family would definitely love to stay here again. Close to both the beach and town, we swam in the ocean all day and shopped and dined in the afternoon and evening. Heaven.

Wonderful Family Time Close to Beach & Downtown Naples

Daria was a wonderful host and made our stay feel like a home away from home. While the location is truly amazing - just a few steps from the beach and a few blocks to 3rd street, the house itself was so inviting and comfortable to stay in. The sun room at the front of the house was a nice place to have morning coffee before the day started picking up. Very quiet and peaceful. We'd definitely choose to stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Lovely stay!

We had an amazing stay at this home. It is amazingly close to town and the beach! The house is also set up perfectly for a nice and relaxing vacation. The owners are very good at communicating and making sure we had a nice time.

Comfortable and welcoming

If you’re looking for a nice spot very close to the beach, you’ve found it; this property’s VRBO description is right on. In a neighborhood of fine homes and manicured gardens, with two restaurant districts close by (one just a couple of blocks away) it’s not inexpensive. We needed to recoup after a year at home under Covid restrictions, and we did!

History at the shore

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The home is in a wonderful location very close to the beach. It is a short walk to shopping and dining, so park that car. Historical cottage originally known as the "coconut cottage". We loved walking around and viewing similar homes. A very beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable updated beach house. Great hosts too.

Perfect in every way!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Coconut Cottage in Historic Naples! The minute we walked in the front door, we knew we were in the perfect home for us. The walls were covered with beautiful paintings which made the house so happy and bright. We loved having coffee and practicing yoga on the spacious screened in porch. We also enjoyed spending time on the outside patio area with lush landscaping. The owners provided a nice grill for our use as well. We were within 2 minutes walking distance to the beach where we watched many breathtaking sunsets! We also walked a few blocks to so many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. We had fun at the market which is open on Saturdays. The home was clean, spacious, light and airy. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable, and the sheets were of high quality. We slept so well every night. There with beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels provided as well. And best of all, Daria and Michael were the best hosts ever! They were so gracious, warm, accommodating, and responsive. As I said, perfect in every way!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Daria and Michael for making our stay in Naples so special!

Break time

Absolutely one of our best rentals yet. My wife and I decided to stay in Naples after a business trip near by. The home has old Naples charm and being a block from the beach was perfect. If you need something its so easy to go back to the house and not have to worry about losing your parking spot. Great for families, felt like home. We took full advantage of the peace and quiet, nearby shops, fabulous restaurants and beautiful beaches! Owners did a great job making sure you had everything you could possibly need. Nice that they were so close if needed, and were respectful of our privacy as well. Wonderful hosts!

Authentic Olde Naples Cottage

Absolutely perfect! We felt honored to stay in this authentic Olde Naples Florida Cottage two houses from the beach. This is the real deal not one of those pretend shabby chic ship-lapped pretenders. The cottage has been in the family for several years and just that alone makes it remarkable to still be able to see beautiful simple things can be. Years and years of watercolors hanging on the walls by whom must have done by a past generation of the Gutchess (owner), hence the signature. The updated baths were a nice addition, air conditioning flawless, higher end appliances, high ceilings and just a whole lot of space. We will most certainly be back!!!! Thank you to The Gutchess Family!

It's not your usual rental.... this cottage is fully furnished and accessorized, it has everything you need.
It's so close to the beach that you can walk there and everywhere: great restaurants, shop and the fishing pier. It's also the best location to see the famous Naples sunset! I'll include some pictures of the sunset and the pier, taken from our street.
