Chappy Weekend

Sue and Al were great hosts - friendly, responsive, and helpful with good advice on local eateries, sights, and transportation! The property was clean, comfortable, well furnished, and is in a great location for walking, biking, or taking the MV bus (we did all three, and the bus rides are free!) to anywhere you may want to go on the island. The property and hosts are highly recommended by us for your next MV stay!

Loved it!

This was a very cute home, with great space for our group, and very nice, communicative hosts! I loved the outdoor porch area where we'd sit and have coffee in the morning. My room right off the kitchen was great, but my only note is due to the couple staying in the other room who had a fair amount of spiders during our stay. Overall I would come back!

Al, and Sue were responsive to our requests for screens, luggage storage, etc. They’ve done a great job renovating this three sided basement, into a cozy apartment.

Charming Chop Accommodation

We had a lovely stay in Al’s very large basement apartment. The apartment had a washer, dryer and two spacious bedrooms. Al was a fantastic host, very friendly and kind. He greeted us with champagne and loaned us his grill and charcoal. He gave us great tips and made sure we maximized our trip with “locals only” suggestions. Truly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely apartment/ lovely area

We enjoyed our stay in this basement apartment… everything was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Our renter was delightful and made check-in easy (we also appreciate all the info kept in a book onsite as well as the extra waters in the fridge). The location was very nice - I’d say it was just over half a mile from the marina area. Close enough to walk (15-20 minutes) but we could also use Ubers when we needed to hurry. (Keep in mind: the road to and from the marina is a busy one and while there are are no sidewalks, a lot of people seem to use it to walk.) We would definitely recommend this rental.

Great home base

Sue was a great hostess! She was so helpful in guiding us with the ferry and places to eat etc. The rental was very clean and we really appreciated having the washer and dryer. Was situated in a quiet and quaint neighborhood but close to so much! Highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay at this property. We stayed for a week and this felt like a home away from home. The property was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The hosts were extremely courteous, welcoming and respectful of our privacy. This is a great property to stay in Oak Bluffs and very close to stores, restaurants and the beaches. Great weekend on Martha's Vineyard in East Chop

We visited the island for the very first time for a family wedding. Our accommodations were wonderful. Newly remodeled and nicely furnished. Very clean and pleasant. Sue the owner/manager was super helpful in helpings navigate our way around the island. Very responsive and very pleasant. Would HIGHLY recommend this option.
