Great dog friendly place with cozy vibes.

Great spot. We loved it, dogs loved the yard. Indoor/outdoor patio is cozy. Right by the freeway for access to city, killer mexican food (Can walk to Sanyo Taco, amazing!). Highly recommended.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay here! We spent time in the backyard and grilled dinner. We walked the neighborhood then went to the Capitol Hill area to look around. The house was adorable- very well stocked and very comfortable beds. The huge t.v. Was treat for streaming movies. We would definitely love to stay again.

Convenient location to everything

Nice older home. Lovely antiques and furnishings. Only problem for us was the steps to the two downstairs bedrooms.They are steep and we are in our late 70’s. So for you younger people it might not be a problem.Dogs loved the yard. House has a Keurig one cup coffee pot and we brought regular coffee (that’s not a complaint Just to let you know to bring the right coffee. They were kind enough to leave some for us so we were not without until we could get to the store) Lovely home

Weekend stay

We liked the house. It had a very cute, homie feel. The “master” bedroom was really small and very hot. The thermostat didn’t really work. We couldn’t see the temp or adjust it. The ice machine had a plastic bag wrapped around the dispenser blade and so there was plastic pieces in the ice every time we got ice out. We didn’t realize there was a bag in it until the very last day as we were leaving. We did enjoy the fire pit and the jetted tub!

Nice place in Rose Park

This is Grandma's house - It's cute, but there are lots of breakable things. We would not say that is is great for children; there are too many breakable things. For example, even our 4 year old granddaughter, who came to visit, was able to lean on the glass pedestal table in front of the TV and cause serious rocking. Nothing broken, but not the best for a child-friendly place. The house manual is very minimal - only one page. There was no information at all on the internet (network name or password). Fortunately, the owners were very responsive and sent the info along by text. Also, there was no info on climate control (where it is, how it works). Clean towels were left in the dryer rather than stored properly. The oven was dirty and smoked up the entire house when turned on. Most interesting of all: the electric range is so ancient that all the marking on the controls have been worn off. Hence, there is no way to know what setting you should use on a burner. This makes for interesting meal preparation!

Why they chose this property

This is a very loved property, it's my grandma's house. She passed away in 2013 and since then my mother has inherited the property. It is a blessing to have since it is our home to keep us close and connected to our family. People say the house has a light, warm and loving energy and that makes me really happy. Everyone in the family does their part to keep our Gma's legacy alive and well taken care of :)
