PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING, PILLOWS AND LINENS FOR DOUBLE BEDS. YOU MUST BRING TOWELS AND TOILETRIES (including toilet paper, and soaps/shampoo and cleaning supplies) AS THEY ARE NOT PROVIDED. Each mattress is covered with a freshly washed cover, protector and must not be removed.

KITCHENS: OUR KITCHEN IS EQUIPPED WITH POTS AND PANS, DISHES, GLASSES, MUGS, CUTLERY AND SOME COOKING AND SERVING UTENSILS. THERE IS A STOVE, REFRIGERATOR, MICROWAVE, TOASTER, KETTLE AND COFFEE MAKER. EACH COTTAGE HAS THEIR OWN BARBECUE WITH PROPANE TANK AND A PICNIC TABLE.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
O Ensure the cottage is clean and tidy. o All dishes and kitchenware should be washed and put away. o Please bag and seal all garbage and place it in the large garbage bin next to the parking lot.
O Check every room for your personal belongings. o Don’t forget to check the fridge, freezer, and cabinets for any food. o Turn off all lights and the air conditioner before leaving.
O Place the key and parking pass back into the bag hanging on the wall. o Ensure the door is locked before you leave the cottage. Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning or penalty fees.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All rules and regulations must be followed as stated on our website and rental agreement to guarantee return of security deposit.
All guests MUST conduct themselves at all times in a manner respectful and NOT offensive to the neighbours.
MUST FOLLOW ALL THE WASAGA BEACH BY-LAWS. ESPECIALLY THE NOISE RESTRICTION RULE -quiet time is from 11 pm to 8 am.

Great location

Our family stayed in cottage 1 for an August overnight. The cabin was simple, but clean and no sign of mustiness. Wonderful location right on the beach in a clean and less busy area. Great family get away.

The cottage itself is exactly as depicted in photos and as described - super clean - effortless check-in. But the cherry on top for Cottage #1 is the location! Right on the beach - amazing views and access! Would rebook in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed the beachfront location with gorgeous sunsets. Our only concern was with the ant and fly problem inside the cottage. We've made the hosts aware of the situation and they were apologetic and receptive to our feedback.

A great time away!

The location was amazing! Just the space we needed with a wonderful view of the beach. Some minor improvements could include window repair, would have been great to open but seemed fragile. Kitchen had everything we needed, although would have been better to have more than 2 cereal bowls, we made do however! Already wanting to book next summer get away for longer stay! Thanks so much!!

Quel bel emplacement!

Nous avons adoré le chalet #1 et sa proximité de la plage! Il était parfait et très bien situé! Endroit très paisible! Nous le recommadons! Une piste cyclable est accessible très près du resort. La plage située devant le chalet est vraiment tranquille car les stationnements publics se trouvent plus loin. Nous avons profité de belles marches sur le bord de la plage pour nous rendre au bord walk et y manger un cornet de crème glacée.

Staycation 2022

After hearing about a favourite campground closing, my friends and I were looking for something to do our yearly trip at. Came across Sandpiper Beach Resort and decided to give it a try and loved it. The cottage was clean and cozy, prime location to the beach and had privacy. Commutation with the owners was amazing and they got back to us very quickly. We would 100% do it again.

Perfect isolated getaway not too far from Toronto

We celebrated me and my daughter's milestone birthdays here due to COVID-19 travel restrictions (originally supposed to go to Hawaii). While it is not the ocean, we were impressed by Wasaga Beach, as the water was very clean and wavy due to high winds, so we just pretended LOL :-). The owner was very friendly and we had no issues "checking in". The cottage we were at was the closest to the beach (#1) and is simply charming, very clean and well-kept. It looks quite renovated. so we were very happy with the standard. It had a full kitchen with full size oven and fridge, plates, glasses, mugs, utensils and cutlery, some bowls, strainer, barbecue utensils. small pans, coffee maker. and tea kettle but no dishwasher or TV. There was A/C in the main room, but we didn't need it since it was chilly for September. You do need to bring or buy at the local stores bed linen, your own pillows, toilet paper. paper towels. cleaning supplies such as dish soap, dish brush, spray cleaner. floor cleaner, and toilet bowl cleaner. That might be a problem if you've flown in from somewhere, so please take note. It is very self-contained. Our view was fantastic and watching the waves in the morning and cooking our meals in the cottage was so relaxing. There is also a firepit there where we could roast marshmallows and hotdogs. My husband whittled some sticks to use for this occasion. While the water was a bit cold. my mermaid daughter had a blast swimming in the shallow water. The beach was right in front of us. and it had a long and shallow sandy bottom that is appropriate for smaller children. Also. great shopping is within 10-15 minutes drive from the cottage (Walmart, Foodland, Real Canadian Superstore) and restaurants (although we opted to only stay at the cottage). We highly recommend this place for a quiet yet isolated vacation during this pandemic. We will be back when it's a lot warmer next year!
