This house was perfect for our little family get away. Came to Seadrift to do some fishing and spend a little time at the beach. They’ve house came with everything we need to make breakfast and dinner and just overall was wonderful

We had a great stay. Home is in perfect location. The owner stated no wifi, just know there is no phone reception of any kind, your phone actually goes to Emergency calls only status. other then that our stay was Great.

After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:- We understand that not having Wi-Fi may have been unexpected for you. However, the listing does state this to ensure that guests are aware before booking. We aim to offer a serene environment where guests can disconnect, enjoy fishing, and relax.- While Wi-Fi isn't available, we're fortunate to have excellent cell coverage with ATT smartphones. It seems the issue may lie with your cell phone provider rather than the cottage itself. Additionally, we provide various entertainment options such as games, DVDs, and terrestrial television to ensure a pleasant stay.Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

Suggestions for better stays for everyone

I guess i did not understand that there was no Tv. It would Help if you had either internet or cable or some sort of Tv service . The channels from Victoria do nor receive well - on and off - aggravating and no selection . Need more cleaners for pots and a stove top cleaner .. Need sink stopper that fits sink so dishes can be washed properly . I think price is over rated since no tv or dishwasher . The window unit in - king size bedroom makes horrible noise when in cooling stage . Thank God it did not rain while we were down and we were gone just drowning bait most of the time and caught no keepers so fishing was not successful either . The general trip was enjoyable to just get away and do something different . The house itself was clean and cute .

Overnight accommodations for a fishing trip

Booked this property for it's location, as we were doing some inshore fishing for a few days. The house was super clean, comfy beds, good air conditioning, great water pressure in the shower, well maintained and perfect for our needs. Will book again for the next trip to the coast.

Delightful Location

The house is beautifully appointed and there are constant reminders in the decor of the sea and all its wonder. The kitchen is well-equipped and there was plenty of seating. Really enjoyed the front porch. Description indicates that there is no InternetWiFi so be prepared to hot spot. Seadrift is small with a couple restaurants but several other port cities are a short drive with many more. We didn’t come to fish but this would be a perfect location for anglers.

Quiet and cosy

Quiet and cosy. Perfect place for Thanksgiving with family to unwind and get a little fishing in. Centralized between Local fishing spots and more populated areas. No Wifi with plenty of DVDs was difficult at first but teens learned what it was like to live "like in the olden" days.

Cozy & Quiet

Such a wonderful place to lay low after a long day of fishing. This location had everything we needed and just a short walk to the nearest store. Myself, Husband and our friend had the most enjoyable weekend. We look forward to rebooking next time we plan to be in seadrift.

Fisherman's Paradise

This is the perfect cabin for a fishing trip home base. It is super comfortable and has everything you need. I set up my own hotspot for wifi and the cell signal was strong enough to stream.The owners are super nice and very accommodating.I'll definiteyl be back next time I can swing a fishing trip!

Perfect week

We stayed here as we spent a week working our 20 acres right outside of town we recently purchased. We were "dawg" tired at the end of each day and this cabin was a very cozy and comfortable place to relax and unwind.

Fishing trip

I came down with a buddy for a couple of days of fishing and this property was the perfect home base. There was room to park my boat and our vehicles along with a hose to rinse down the boat. The porch has was a nice place to unwind with a beer after being on the water. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and the beds were comfortable. I’ll definitely be back.
