The cabin was a perfect size for two guests and a dog. Everything was clean and the little fenced in yard was perfect. It was a perfect location for quiet and still getting to town.
This cabin is so cozy and relaxing. Being at the end of the road there was total peace. The cabin is so nice and perfect for a couple and a pet, like us. The fences in yard was fantastic for our pug. Also, the owner was very nice, always responding to every question immediately. We are most definitely planning on returning.
Great location, perfect for pets, gracious host, cozy cabin, had everything you need down to raincoats. This is and will be our new cabin to rent in the future as we visit every year. Thank you Tim for sharing your beautiful property.
Tim had the cabin ready to go when we arrived, was warm and inviting, perfect for the two of us and our Lexi. First night was in the 20s and we stayed warm and cozy. Woke up to a dusting of snow the next morning. Perfect location, quick trip to Gatlinburg, the Comedy Barn and other shows. The fenced in area for the pup was one of the main amenities we were looking for. We will look here first for a place to stay on out next trip.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin with our 2 pups. The fenced in yard was wonderful. Super clean and very quaint. We had about a 25 minute drive to the Sugarlands entrance to the SMNP. would recommend staying here for a trip to the park!
Located at the dead end of a gravel mountain driveway, this property was perfect for what we wanted and needed for a long weekend with the dog. Love the small fenced in area on the side of the home where our fur baby could safely have some green space without a leash. The weather was just perfect and was able to use the gas fireplace one evening for a short time. Love this lil cabins setup and cleanliness. We will absolutely return!
I wish I had heard from this guest regarding the mattress considering I could have moved them to an adjoining cabin as had different bedding.
Regardless... This host did find the mattress "iffy", and replaced it within 24 hours. I hope this guest returns one day.
We had a wonderful time! It is really close to the parkway but also secluded. The host was nice and able to answer any questions we had. We will be staying here again in the future. Loved the fenced in yard for our fur babies.
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was great to be able to have our dogs, Penny & Jax with us on this trip! The fenced in yard was especially great for them.

Hosted by Tim Kresica
As a lifelong business manager and executive, Tim Kresica has achieved and enjoyed success within the building products industry. As a native son of Chicago, IL, his education and career path eventually led him to opportunities in both Florida and North Carolina. In 2014, the majesty of the Great Smoky Mountains beckoned him to Tennessee where he now lives and works as Resident Manager / Caretaker of Havens on the Ridge in Pigeon Forge. Tim has always founded his work ethic on a dedication to rendering first-class products and services as well as fulfilling customer needs in an uplifting, positive way. With every undertaking and objective, he applies his belief that details are important. Havens on the Ridge reflect and confirm this belief. Personally, Tim enjoys amateur photography….engages the great outdoors…..and embraces faith-based worship.
Why they chose this property
Eastern Tennessee's abundant beauty, tempo, and sense of community are enjoyable throughout four distinct seasons. Prompted by a lifelong affection for the Great Smoky Mountains, my search for solace led to a unique opportunity for developing an existing property into a mountain retreat for adults desiring tranquil and serene respite on a year-round basis. Havens on the Ridge offers both while simultaneously being ideally located a short distance from the towering majesty of nature's exploration as well as the entertainment and adventures of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The property was originally owned by the Blackburn family as their primary residence and boasts a "gathering" cottage for special occasions. Their family tree includes Michael Blackburn who achieved notoriety as the World's Greatest Sharpshooter. It's history sparked a special interest within me, and each day I'm thankful to now call Havens on the Ridge my home as caretaker.
What makes this property unique
Beyond the tranquility, privacy, and comfort of Havens on the Ridge, we strive to ensure a "home-away-from-home" getaway. The property is safe and well lit at night. There is an abundance of room on the property to walk and appreciate the Foothills of the Smoky Mountains. If you are bringing pre-approved pets your accommodations like gated, fenced-in areas and places to be walk will be enjoyable for all. If you would like to arrive early let us know and we'll try and accommodate you. If you expect to arrive late we can have lights (and climate control) on for you. Lastly... You have an on-site caretaker available to you if you can't get the TV remote to cooperate.., or some amenity just doesn't seem to work... or if you just have questions.
