About the host
Hosted by Liz Fletcher and Aria Fletcher-Ratcliff

Came to Tucson from Ashland, Or. 35 years ago and can't leave! I've lived along the Pacific NW coast, Saskatchewan, Arizona White Mountains, Costa Rica, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Musician and massage therapist by trade. Our home had lots of extra space from now converted to hosting, we've now had many hundreds of stays over 5 years.
My goal as a host is to provide a comfortable, very clean and private stay in Tucson! Tucson is a fantastic town with an endless variety of things to see and do.

Why they chose this property
My favorite area of town, we are located blocks from the Rillito Wash, near the UA, and a short drive to most anything. In 2015 we began re-purposing unused space for hosting
. Along the way the yard was overhauled for water harvesting and solar panels..
Hosting has been an unexpected adventure! This neighborhood was a ranch, incorporated in 1938 after which the city grew around it. The neighborhood has retained generous half acre lots and low density with foresight. A wildlife corridor arroyo through the neighborhood brings javelina, bobcats, owls, coyotes, and the like. Our wide quiet streets are enjoyed by neighborhood dog walkers and cyclists.
