The guest house was conveniently located and very private. Would have given 5 stars, and this is picky, but the pillows were really uncomfortable. Otherwise it was a great stay.
Very much enjoyed this property: responsive host, no issues during our stay. Myself and my 23 yr old son comfortably stayed for five nights. Kitchen was very adequate for the size.
My husband and I came into town from Texas to visit family. We stayed 4 nights the casita was very homey, clean and comfortable . We will stay here again next time.
Charming casita, nicely appointed, clean, quiet and convenient to all of Tucson. Beautiful neighborhood for walking and a short distance to 100 mile loop. Liz was friendly and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay at her property again!
Great location for us. Was impressed with the spacious cottage with full size fridge and 4 burner stove for cooking, and large tiled walk in shower of good size, queen bed comfortable with TV perfect after our day out.
looking forward to our next visit!
Liz is a great host who responded to all of our needs. The guest casita was charming and in a great location. We were able to go downtown and to the Catalina Mountains within minutes. The guest house was very spacious and had all of the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely return for a visit.

About the host
Hosted by Liz Fletcher and Aria Fletcher-Ratcliff
40 year dedicated Tucson transplant from the PNW. I've lived in Saskatchewan, Arizona White Mountains, Costa Rica, and Puerto Vallarta - musician and massage therapist by trade. Our family chose this great neighborhood for it's spacious, older vibe - now converted to STRs we'vehad many hundreds of stays. My goal as a host is to provide a comfortable, very clean and private stay in Tucson! Tucson is a fantastic town with an endless variety of things to see and do.
Why they chose this property
My favorite area of town! We are located blocks from the Rillito Wash, near the UA, and a short drive to most anything. In 2015 we began re-purposing unused space for hosting. Along the way the yard was overhauled for water harvesting and solar panels.. This neighborhood was a ranch, incorporated in 1938 after which the city grew around it. The neighborhood has retained generous half acre lots and low density with foresight. A wildlife corridor arroyo runs through the neighborhood inviting wildlife. Our wide quiet streets are enjoyed by neighborhood dog walkers and cyclists.
What makes this property unique
Central yet peaceful and private. Old neighborhood with great neighbors! Walking distance to numerous diverse restaurants and groceries. Excellent walking, jogging, and biking access from the house to the 100 mile non-motorized "Loop", or bike path which surrounds the city. The UA, Tucson Racquet Club, JCC, Sat. Farmer's Market and Sun. artisan market, and Trader Joe's are all minutes away.
