EVERYTHING IN TOWN AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!
5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 2 kitchens, and an office/hang out room. Just minutes walking distance to all restaurants, sports bars, shops and beautiful beaches in the heart of kona, yet in a quiet neighborhood with no traffic noise in a very peaceful area . A perfect spot that really is hard to beat.
A spacious 2500 sq. ft. two story house. On top, a lookout patio with stairway and downstairs a covered patio with bbq. Washer and dryer in unit, another full laundry room on site. Free Private parking close by to the unitfor easy access. An area with beach and snorkle gear. Our neighborhood is away from the main highway, up a little hill in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood with no traffic noise, yet just minutes walking to all oftown. The surrounding banyan and ficus trees give you a feeling like you could be in a tropical jungle, yet you’re right in town. This truly is a perfect spot being as close to town to walk everywhere, yet there is zero traffic. Please enjoy and see for yourself! Aloha!

We love the space in the house for all of us to have our own rooms for reasonable price. The owners are responsive and look out for us. We like the grill and ability to prepare our own meals. Close to grocery store to replenish supplies.

Nice big house for our group. Neighborhood is sketchy but house itself was nice. BEWARE - only portable ac unit in living room. Bedrooms super hot even with ceiling and tower fan. We had some people so hot, they slept on the couch in living room instead of the bedrooms. Had dirty sheets on 1 bed and no tv in unit.Host (property mgr) was very responsive before booking then less responsive after booking.Probably will not be staying again due to no ac unless we come in December or January.

Kona House

The property was great and the host was very nice. She provided some Christmas decorations and we had fun decorating. Hawaii is very beautiful and the house was in a good location. Loved it. We all had a great time.

Great family Getaway

Kona Getaway

We had a great time at the Downtown Gem. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and main street in Kona. The area around the unit is a little run down but the house itself is great. Perfect for a large group.

Perfect for the whole family

Huge house with room enough for our entire extended family (7 adults and 3 kids). The upstairs living room was very airy and comfortable. Lots of room for people to spread out and not be on top of each other in between excursions. Very close to downtown.

Perfect home for our family of 10. Great location-10-15 min walk to restaurants, shopping and the ocean. Beach towels, beach toys and coolers are provided. The kids loved the boogie boards! Quiet neighborhood. We would definitely book this home again.

Hillside home

This property was perfect for us, our adult children & our grandchildren. We walked down to the pier each of the evenings that we were in Kona to view the beautiful sunsets. There was a grocery store just a few blocks away & restaurants downtown.

This house was great!! It went above and beyond our expectations. There is plenty of room for everyone and two kitchens!! We enjoyed staying here very much and hope to be back. Jeri and her managers were extremely helpful. The house is gorgeous and decorated wonderfully. We felt right at home here.

Great for families and larger parties!

I was pleasantly surprised that the house was even better than the pictures online. There was so much room and having two kitchens made it easier for families. Anyone looking for a clean spacious house for your family to stay this is the perfect place. We would definitely use this rental again. Management and the owners we're Beyond gracious and so helpful.

Great house, convenient location

We love the house and its kitchens and bbq facilities for our group meals. Fans keep the house cool. Location is great, within walking distance to downtown Kona, close to shopping for supplies. Correction needs to be made to reflect no single beds, only queen beds.

Excellant experience

We came for a softball tournament and this house accomedated all of us and we did t even feel crowded. It is such a perfect and comfortable home. We loved it. The property manager, Chris, is so friendly and awesome. Totally recommend this place to everyone!!!!!

Awesome stay

Property was listed as a 5 bedroom with only 4 pictures of the bedrooms which worried me at first as we had 6 individual parties. But to my relief and surprise the unit had 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. Everything is located nearby. I would stay again if i plan another golf trip to kona.

Originally from Southern California, both Jeri and Steve met here on the Big Island in the early seventies. Married since 1979, and have a son named Chris. Our love for the ocean and island life has kept us here ever since. Come and enjoy a relaxing getaway.

We love the location close to town, where the beach is just a few minutes walking distance. Shops and restaurants are endless fun, and the Farmer's Market provides local fruits and vegetables, flowers, and local gift shopping.

What makes this property unique

If you’re looking for a location in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood with zero traffic and town noise, yet just a quick walk to all of the city, you will not find anything better than this. The view from the upper floor is beautiful, with the blue water sunsets, and with a classic view of the mountainside as well. The covered downstairs patio is a place to be outside with privacy. It is a nice cool, quiet, hilltop compound, where you can relax with your group, and also have the convenience to do your own thing and walk to Starbucks, McDonald’s, or the bowling alley, and all restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is very quiet with lots of shade. It is a very unique place, which made us fall in love with it!!
