Lovely apartment in the middle of town, close to the seafront, bars and restaurants. It has a fantastic roof terrace with views to the sea and across the village, just the best place to watch the sunset. Also a large balcony to the front with table and four chairs and a smaller one to the back. Amazing outside space. It has everything you need for a perfect week’s holiday including a very comfortable bed.

I had a fabulous time and would love to go back. Everything was as described. I did yoga on the roof deck and looked out at the water — it was so nice. The town is lovely. The host and property manager were super responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Lovely Stay

Cannot fault it, flat is well equipped, close to all amenities, walking distance to restaurants, boats, supermarket, etc. This was our second time here and hopefully not the last, has everything to suit our needs!

A nice, clean and wel equiped appartment, situated in a vivid street, just one street behind the boulevard. Nice restaurants and places to visit nearby (Cabanas, V.R.S. Antonio, Tavira, Olhao and Faro)

We had a very nice and comfortable week in Jamie‘s apartment at the beginning of January. On sunny days we happily enjoyed the private rooftop deck. The apartment has a top location in the center of Cabanas close to the promenade. Several cafes and bars and some restaurants were open. The apartment was exceptionally clean and check-in/check-out with Wave Algarve was easy.Communication with Jamie was very friendly and we felt very welcome.

Excellent location

Cabanas was lovely. Location was excellent for restaurants, snack bars and supermarkets. The place had a nice vibe. The accommodation was spacious, lovely balcony plus a roof terrace ideal for sunbathing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and family.

Excellent, enjoyed living in the heart of the cabanas Portuguese community. Close to restaurants, cafes and short walk to boardwalk. Accommodation well suited 2 persons and exploring. Decks were great and as asvertized. Particularly the roof top.

Cabanas in mid October

Perfect location for us (couple in our 60s) everything you need within easy walking distance. Apartment although dated is well appointed and outdoor space is plentiful and varied. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long break thank you Jamie.

ideal break in a lovely part of Portugal

Easy location to get too & only 35mins from Faro. Cabanas itself has grown over the years but not too much that it is like the other popular holiday resorts nearby, still holds that small town feel with the local population at the heart of it. The apartment has everything you need and is central to all that is going on. We just love visiting Cabanas.

My husband and I just spent 5 weeks in this lovely apartment in the heart of Cabanas. It is exactly as advertised. The apartment itself is well equipped and you feel like you are in a home. The location is perfect for those travellers who do not wish to rent a car. A decent grocery store is a 5 minute walk. Many restaurants and bars are a two minute walk. The local train that takes you up and down the coast is a 15 minute walk. There is a lovely boardwalk along the river and on the other side of the river is the most stunning beach! There are things to do or just relax and soak up the relaxed Portuguese life. This place is perfect for retirees and families. It does not have a big nightlife. Communication with Jamie was excellent. As she lives nearby, any concern was dealt with quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it.

Very good lovely appartment very clean and great welcome from Patricia only thing was there was a bar at the end of the street that was loude music it spoiled the balcony at night very hard to sit outside and relax that was the only thing

Perfect lil find

This property was such a special find. The small community makes the whole journey a perfect Portugal experience. We took many road trips, lots of nature walks and ate amazing food (for an incredible value). Jamie is a wonderful host. Hope to be back someday soon.

This wonderful apartment is exactly as advertised. Jamie is a fabulous host and the lovely gentleman from Wave was there to check us in. We had everything we needed for our month long stay including A/C, washer, full kitchen and 3 choices of outdoor spaces to enjoy. Cabanas is such a picturesque village with a good variety of restaurants and shops. The short trip in the water taxi to the beach is very inexpensive and the wow factor of the beach when you arrive is amazing!We’re already talking about our next trip. Thanks again Jamie.

Excellent communication with Jamie regarding all aspects of our stay at Cabanas. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and had everything you need for a 'home from home' holiday. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance with good choice of food and drink.Overall, a lovely apartment with excellent facilities and location within the Ria Formosa National Park. This gave us a new and different outlook on the Algarve after visiting a couple of times. A much quieter and less busy location if you don't like the more noisy Albufeira, for example, you won't be disappointed.
