Relaxing tranquil rural setting

We had a marvellous ten-day stay at this tranquil rural home. We were two adults and two teenagers and the house suited us perfectly. We enjoyed eating outside with just the occasional sound of donkeys - Nina and Murika. Lorenzo is warm and welcoming and gave us a our privacy while also being on hand and really helpful about where to visit. A highlight was a canoe trip downstream to the sea spotting the ibis and kingfishers with Lorenzo as our guide. We would happily stay again and certainly come back to see more of beautiful Sardinia. Lovely house, relaxing atmosphere, perfect stay!

We stayed at Lorenzo's villa for one week in October 2017. The house was relaxing- we could go outside, sit in the sun, eat breakfast on the patio and lay in the hammocks. There are two donkeys at the villa who you can feed. My siblings enjoyed petting the donkeys. The house is located in a small village and twenty minutes from the ocean. Lorenzo is a very welcoming person and gave us some great tips on the island. Through him we were able to spend a day out on the sea exploring the islands by La Maddalena it was a lot of fun! We recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the northern part of Sardinia. Thank you Lorenzo for a brilliant stay. Olivier (12) and family

Absolutely lovely

Our stay at Lorenzo's place was absolutely fantastic. The place is spacious and gorgeous. A bunch of cute little kittens were eagerly awaiting our return from the beach every day. Our kids had fun with the donkeys and the pool. As mentioned in all the previous reviews the house is not far away from dozens of beautiful beaches (the nearest maybe 15 minutes by car). The little village nearby has two bars, a hairdresser and two small supermarkets, a gas station etc. Lorenzo's a great guy. He provided us with tons of useful tips, searched and arranged trips for us using his connections. Heck - we even got a crate full of organic veggies through one of his friends. Secluded rural property with convenient location for access to Northern Sardinian beaches and sights

The property closely matches the description and pictures and is a special find if you wish for a secluded and peaceful location. It is off-road in a rural country area with ample parking for at least 2 cars. It is a few minutes drive from a small town and supermarket and both tank stations and larger supermarkets are easily accessible on route to Palau. It is characteristic, rustic and arty rather than modern - and ideal for families and relaxing at the house - especially during midday heat. Opportunities for relaxing at the property are great: front and back shaded seating areas, hammocks under shady trees next to a grassy and tree surrounded garden as well as a small but functional pool and garden chairs. The outdoor shower is a treat after swimming or coming back from the beach. The property is clean and well maintained and is easy to keep cool during the midday hours. The owner is extremely accessible - living nearby but not within the property - helpful and able to advise you on the right beaches and possibilities for organizing boat trips or visits to sites in the area. We enjoyed lazing at the property during midday, sleeping in the hammocks, feeding leftover food to the resident donkeys, visiting and eating out at many small towns like "Aggius" in the surrounding areas, visiting the stunning beaches close to Palau and Rena Majore, exploring the many country roads and scenery and also a boat trip to the Maddalena archipelago. The house added to an unforgettable experience in this beautiful area of Sardinia.

Schönes, älteres Landhaus in guter Lage! Die schönsten Strände sind gut erreichbar mit dem Auto in 15-30min, Lorenzo ist ein super Gastgeber und seinen beiden Esel sind allerliebst. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit inkl. Kanutouren und Reiten!! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Also das Haus besticht durch seine abgeschiedenheit und Lorenzo. Es ist ein kleines Haus, mit Garten und einem Pool zum erfrischen. Zusätzlich begrüßen Esel am Morgen zum Frühstück. Man ist zügig in der nächsten Stadt und an den Stränden. Lorenzo hilft bei allem und vorallem bei den Sachen die in der Natur sind. Klar wäre bei 40 eine Klimaanlage angenehm aber dennoch kann ich doie alte Villa absolut empfehlen.

Lorenzo ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber und das Haus ist genauso wie beschrieben. Es liegt sehr abgelegen und bietet alles was man benötigt, um einen schönen ruhigen Urlaub zu erleben. Man ist aber auch recht schnell am Strand oder in der nächsten Stadt.Lorenzo hat uns viele Tipps für den Urlaub gegeben und ein Highlight war die gemeinsame Kanu/Kayak-Tour mit ihm.Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.Der umzäunte Garten mit Pool eignen sich auch super für Urlaub mit Hund.Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nicht, speziell in den heißen Sommermonaten gilt es dies zu bedenken. Das hohe Haus kühlt zwar gut ab wenn man richtig lüftet aber trotz Moskitonetzen kann man Moskitostiche leider nicht ganz vermeiden.Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub.Vielen Dank Lorenzo.Liebe Grüße Daniel, Steffi, Ina, Noël und Otto

Logement propre et spacieux, pas de clim mais ça se rafraîchit bien la nuit et il y a des moustiquaires donc pas de souci. Plein de petits plus : un hôte adorable très disponible pour conseiller et aider, une piscine, des ânes et des chats pour le plaisir des enfants, idéalement situé pour découvrir une région magnifique, au calme, possibilité de faire une balade en kayak très chouette ! Merci Lorenzo ! On se sent bien chez toi ! C’est la partie de la Sardaigne que nous avons préférée.

Si vous recherchez une maison atypique, hors du temps et de la foule, la casa de Lorenzo est faite pour vous!Grande, conforme aux photos, avec une belle terrasse et une piscine hors sol pas trop profonde parfaite pour se prélasser après une grosse journée au soleil ou pour laisser les enfants jouer en toute sécurité. Tout est propre, on pourrait se dire qu'il manque un ou deux trucs dans la cuisine ou dans la maison, mais le tout est à l'image du propriétaire : simple et efficace.Car Lorenzo est un personnage hors du commun à la sagesse éclairée, qui s'est de plus révélé un guide hors pair pour nous faire découvrir la région. Tous ses conseils etaient justes, précis et très bien adaptés.Un Grand Merci Lorenzo, pour nous avoir fait découvrir ta rivière aux hérons rouges en canoë, pour nous avoir suggéré la location d'un bateau pour visiter l'archipel de la Maddalena plutôt qu'un bateau à touristes (en nous expliquant tout ce qu'il fallait pour la navigation), et aussi pour tous les autres suggestions de visite.Merci aussi pour ta bienveillance qui vaut de l'or . La mer ou Palau (et les supermarchés) sont à 15-20mn. C'est un prix peu cher payé pour une grande tranquillité.Nous recommandons donc 100 fois cet endroit et nous souhaitons une longue et heureuse vie à notre hôte !Affectueusement,Thomas, Sébastien, Stéphanie, Anna et Lilas. Ps: on a aussi apprécié les chats qui nous rendaient fréquemment visite et les deux ânes qui ont adoré nos restes végétaux !

Je veux habiter la bas!Merveilleuses vacances en famille chez Lorenzo. Le calme absolu malgré la foule présente sur les côtes. Lorenzo est d excellents conseils pour faire découvrir cette île qu il aime tant, nous avons fait des choses que jamais nous n aurions découvert autrement. Il est entièrement disponible tout en restant discret. La localisation est au calme et reste centrale pour vagabonder un peu dans la Gallura. Quant aux enfants ils ne se sont pas lassé des ânes! Une merveille.

La location est centrale et donc très bien située pour visiter la Gallura. Confortable, décorée avec goût, la maison ne veut pas rivaliser avec les locations luxueuses mais revendique un naturel accueillant, à l’image de Lorenzo, son charmant et sympathique propriétaire. Dans un français parfait, il faut écouter ses conseils de visite, de restaurant, de balade, de plage. Et peut-être vous fera-t-il découvrir son trésor…!

Ein traumhafter Urlaub

Wir haben unsere Tage hier von Herzen genossen! Das Haus liegt ruhig, in schöner Natur und doch erreicht man in 15 Minuten verschiedene tolle Strände. Wir konnten gut entspannen, unsere Kinder haben den Pool und die Esel sehr geliebt. Lorenzo ist ein großartiger Gastgeber und ein ganz besonderer Mensch. Er hat diesen Urlaub zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht. Dank ihm haben wir wunderschöne Ecken des Nordens entdeckt, hervorragend gegessen und trotz ferragosto ruhige Strandabschnitte genossen. Die Kanutour mit ihm ist ein wunderschönes Erlebnis und sehr zu empfehlen! Wir sind schockverliebt in die Insel und kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Un super sejour

La maison est vraiment bien. Il y a des espaces dans la campagne. Les enfants se sont régalés. Lorenzo est disponible et de bons conseils. Il nous a permis de decouvrir des endroits et su nous ecouter pour nous proposer des activites / restaurants/ plage adaptés. Merci pour cette belle découverte

Für Naturverbundene ein Idyll

Es waren sehr erholsame Ferien umgeben von Natur und Ruhe. Besuch erhielten wir von 2 Eseln, die sich mit unserem Hund anfreundeten und täglich auf ihr Frühstück warteten. Lorenzo ist der beste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann. Wir erhielten viele Ausflugs- und Gastronomie-Tipps, so dass wir einen schönen Teil von Sardinien erleben durften. Die Kanufahrt mit ihm auf den wunderschönen Fluss ans Meer bleibt uns unvergesslich und ist jedem zu empfehlen!

Einfach nur fantastisch

Ja, es war einfach nur fantastisch. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und ist nicht einsehbar. Sehr geräumige Schlafzimmer, grosse Bäder, grosszügier Aufenthaltsraum und Wohnzimmer. Genügend Kleiderschränke. Ein 5-flammiger Gasherd nebst grossem Kühlschrank. Wir haben dort gerne gekocht, alles ist möglich. Sogar eine Küchenwaage ist da. Auf der grossen Terrasse stehen noch zwei Grills, die wir aber gar nicht benutzt haben. Ja, richtig, zwei überdachte Terrassen. Herrlich. Die Aussendusche mit Warmwasser - herrlich. Innen ist alles traditionell gestaltet, im schönen Kontrast dazu etliche Reisesouvenirs von Lorenzo. Insgesamt eine wunderbare Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen. Bassacutena ist tatsächlich perfekt gelegen. Nach Santa Teresa, Capo Testa, nach Palau, Arzachena, zu herrlichen und einsamen Stränden sind es maximal 30 Minuten. Und auch sonst gibt es viel zu sehen, besonders die wunderschöne Landschaft Galluriens. Nach La Maddalena? Klar, kein Problem. Ein Auto braucht man, wir denken, das ist klar. An heissen Tagen oder wenn man einfach nur den Tag dort verbringen möchte: der Pool sorgt für angenehme Erfrischung. Parkplatz 10 Meter vom Haus entfernt, zwei Liegen aus Holz (nicht aus Plastik), Wäscheleine, WIFI - das sind die perfekten Details. Der Vermieter Lorenzo ist ein aussergewöhnlicher, sehr freundlicher, hilsbereiter, liebenswürdiger und bemerkenswerter Mensch mit einer grossartigen Ausstrahlung. Besser und angenehmer geht es nicht. Es war uns eine Ehre, dass wir Lorenzo kennen lernen durften. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt, für diese erholsame Zeit. Es war ein Genuss. Le calme même en pleine saison

Si vous cherchez un endroit calme chez chez Lorenzo qu'il faut venir.. Des plages à quelques kilomètres et le calme à la villa... Repos garanti. Lorenzo est toujours disponible et saura vous faire découvrir tous les beaux endroits et découvrir la beauté de la Sardaigne. Merci pour tout Lorenzo... 2 wunderbare Wochen!

Wir haben unsere Zeit bei Lorenzo sehr genossen. Lorenzo ist ein toller Gastgeber und steht einem mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist wunderschön und individuell eingerichtet. Es ist top ausgestattet inkl. Gasgrill der wir häufig genutzt haben. Es liegt im Hinterland 15min vom Meer entfernt. Direkt im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und eine leckere Pizzeria sowie ein wirklich sehr leckeres Restaurant. Die Gegend ist einfach herrlich und es gibt so viel zu erkunden. 2 Wochen reichten für uns leider nicht aus. Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub :-)

Magnifique

On a passé des vacances magnifiques dans la maison de Lorenzo. C'est un endroit très calme et accueillant et idéal pour se reposer même avec une grande famille grâce aux deux terrasses et au jardin. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine, les ânes et les chats. Lorenzo nous a donné beaucoup de conseils importants quant aux excursions et aux activités à faire. A recommander !

Un piccolo angolo di relax!

La casa è davvero molto bella, situata in mezzo alla natura nella quale ci si riesce ad immergere completamente grazie anche al bravissimo oste Lorenzo che sà coinvolgere i suoi ospiti e a trasmettere loro la sua passione. Le camere sono molto belle e spaziose. Punto in più anche per la piscina che arricchisce la proprietà, senza contare i gatti e gli asinelli da compagnia. Nel complesso una splendida esperienza.
