A spacious, comfortable and well equipped apartment in San Jose, 250m from San Jose's famous beach, bars and restaurants.
This 2 bedroom apartment (Sleeps 4) is equipped to a high standard and is situated in the seaside town of San Jose within the beautiful Cabo de Gata Natural Park, Costa de Almeria.
It has air conditioning, king size double bed, twin bedroom, a large open plan kitchen diner that extends out on to a private balcony area, providing spectacular views of the mountains opposite plus sea glimpses!
Fully furnished with tables& chairs, sofa and a new shower room. There is also FTTP wifi , Spanish TV,UK tv (IPTV).
Outside you will find is the most beautiful shared (only with our 2 other apartments) swimming pool with an additional raised sun terrace and BBQ area. There is also off-road parking.
This is a fabulous base for exploring the most beautiful part of Spain. You are spoilt for choice finding stunning walks and cycle routes that start on the door step of the apartment without the need to take a car.
All within walking distance are several beautiful beaches . You will find some more of Spain's most beautiful unspoilt beaches within 15 mins drive. The main town beach hosts superb bars and restaurant's plus a great selection of shops selling clothing, jewellery, art, souvenir's and much more.
San Jose has 4 mini supermarkets all within walking distance, closest being a Spar which is only 5 minute walk.
The apartment is ideal for both a romantic getaway or family holiday. Alternatively if you are a keen cyclist or walker it is a great base for exploring Southern Spain.

Lovely break

Lovely property and location. Well equipped and comfortable. Nice outside space. We enjoyed our time in San José. The points to note: Swimming pool was cloudy and full of sand. Not really clean which was a shame as both us and our neighbours downstairs were keen to use it but only did once as didn’t fell it was cleaned or maintained whilst we were there. The noise from the house next doir was considerable. I guess thinner walls and no carpets made it noisier but we were disturbed despite the bedroom door being shut , in the mornings and very late at night especially.chairs and tables being dragged regularly. Even with our tv on it was still very noisy. The rest was all very good. Thank you. .

Fantastic stay in beautiful San Jose!

I highly recommend this apartment! It is centrally located in San Jose -- one can walk from the unit to the main street (lots of good restaurants, bank, food market), the beach, and the marina. One can also go for short hikes behind the apartment on volcanic hills that offer stunning views of the beaches and Mediterranean Sea. The unit itself is modern, clean, well equipped for cooking, very comfortable, and has a balcony overlooking San Jose’s Cabo de Gata mountains. I strongly suggest renting a car (at Almeria’s airport) in order to go visit the numerous exciting locations nearby: small villages such as Rodalquilar and Los Albaricoques), tons of beautiful unspoiled beaches, and the Tabernas desert where so many Spaghetti Westerns were filmed in the 60s. It is also worth it to explore bigger towns such as Guadix (1.10h) and Granada (1.50). The Sierra Nevada is also relatively close to San Jose, but plan more time for this visit as you will be entering high-altitude snowy mountains. The entire area is remarkably attractive, and the apartment represents a perfect starting point for wonderful adventures!

Very enjoyable stay

The apartment was in a good location. Not far to the town centre and the beaches. The swimming pool is a great extra. It was a good location for exploring the National Park. The views to the hills were wonderful. We were able to do 2 good walks from the front door so barely had to use our car. The apartment is well equipped and furnished but was showing signs of wear and tear. The king size bed was very comfortable. There were only 2 of us not sure how spacious it would be for 4 adults. Though the storage space in both bedrooms is good. The fridge was also a great size. Check in went smoothly despite a wrong digit in the mobile number being given to us. We were able to email Nina and she was there to meet us. One small complaint. The description of the property refers to a discount for couples but when I asked the owner about this he said it did not exist. I would suggest therefore it is removed from the website. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this interesting area and the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the need for a bit of TLC to the property .

Clean, quiet, pretty view of the town and sea with wonderful pool and bbq area.

When we 1st arrived we were greeted by Nina who was very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her to help you have a lovely holiday. The apartment was very pretty with a lovely balcony or if you prefer its own roof top terrace with lovely views of the hills, town and sea. The town had a good choice of restaurants, bars and cafes. The beach was not too busy and had snorkeling and kayaking available. Both town and beach were within walking distance from the apartment. We traveled to Almeria and visited the Alcazaba well worth seeing. We didn't hire a car to travel around we used the buses which was quite a good service but I think if we went again we would hire a car to travel further afield as there are lots of lovely places to see and we were probably a bit restricted by using public transport. However, for a week we were able to do pretty much what we wanted to do.

Clean comfortable apartment five minutes walking distance from shops and restaurants.

The apartment is in a quiet residential area but just 5 minutes from a variety of shops and restaurants. The accommodation is clean and well equipped and the double bed very comfortable. The apartment has a private terrace with mountain views as well as a shared terrace with pool. We did many walks in the area and the beaches are stunning. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

Mycket trevlig lägenhet i fantastiskt naturområde.

Lägenhet hade allt som behövs, rent och snyggt. Pool snygg och prydlig.Lätt att få kontakt med agenturen.Gångavstånd till stränder och centrum/hamnen. Det fanns kartor för utflykter inom nationalparken och Andalusien som helhet. Allt fungerade utmärkt!
