Peaceful secluded Villa With Large Heated Private Pool And Wifi

Villa Papagayo is perfectly positioned in a private setting at a very tranquil corner at the edge of the lovely and exclusive village of Lajares. Every morning you can see the sunrise over the mountains with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Open the sliding patio doors to the patio area surrounding your own private heated pool. There is an outdoor covered barbecue area. The greenery of the well tended mature garden adds to the peacefulness of the villa.
The villa has a large open plan living room area with a kitchen and dining area. This opens out to the patio and pool area. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with sliding doors to the pool area. There is a further twin bedroom off the living area and a wooden staircase leading to a double bedroom with en suite and private terrace upstairs.
Lajares has a good supermarket and plenty of great places to eat out and enjoy live music. We recommend visiting the beautiful unspoilt beaches at El Cotillo and the spectacular Dunes at Corralejo. There are several great walks locally, like the volcanic Montana Colorado. A written guide and some walking equipment is kept in the Villa for guests to use. Take your time to chill out and enjoy this island haven. We offer self check in upon arrival.

Lovely Villa. The pool was amazing and so private. The villa was a true home from home with everything you needed. Pat the housekeeper was great and sorted a small problem of a broken iron straight away. The villa is so spacious and in a lovely spot. Would definitely return and can’t wait to do so.

Fabulous villa in excellent location

This is an excellent villa close to a village with good shops and restaurants close at hand. The villa is well equipped with sturdy comfortable beds and a great private pool. Communication with the owner was excellent. It's a 15 minute drive to good beaches at coastal redorts.comfortable beds

Lovely Villa with fabulous view

Absolutely loved our stay as this spacious villa. It had beautiful views of the volcanos which you could enjoy from the lovely garden a pool area. Heated pool was fantastic and was the location. Only a 15 minute walk away to the centre of Lajares. Would certainly recommend and plan to return.

Amazing comfortable villa

From the moment we arrived, the villa felt like home. It is spacious, comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need. The heated pool is a dream, along with the fabulous outdoor BBQ and eating areas. Delia kindly facilitated a late checkout which was perfect for us with our evening flight. We regularly used the bus service to El Cotillo and Corellejo and was easy to do. We would highly recommend this villa for a peaceful break, but with amenities close by.

Lovely stay in Lajares

Property was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed on arrival. Space inside and outside was excellent and the pool area was great. Pool was very clean too. We loved the village with it’s restaurants and cafes. Also proximity to both coasts was great, we particularly liked El Cotillo and it’s fabulous beaches on the west coast. We felt a car was essential but it made getting around very easy. All in all a terrific stayin a lovely villa and area.

Beautiful quiet villa

Spacious, peaceful villa and location. Well equipped, though no pool towels (not that they were advertised, just for info). Pleasant walk to the restaurants in the village, especially enjoyed Rojo Tomato and their excellent pizzas (booking essential). Gravel bike hire from Rob at BKRS was a delight (WhatsApp him for info as he’s not always at the shop). Lots to see and do on the island. Really enjoyable week

Lovely house, very quiet

We had a lovely few days in this villa over Xmas 2023. Contact with the owner was easy and pleasant at all times and she was quick to respond to questions. Pool area is a great place to spend the day, pool was warm enough in December. Everything you could need in the villa and a nice touch to leave essentials on arrival...including wine ;-) Thanks

Great holidays!

We've been in Villa Papagayo 4 times so far and this this time it was really fantastic. Since it was very cold January it was great to find out that the water in the swimming pool was really warm and there was an electric heater in the house to heat up a bit in the evenings ! Thanks a lot Delia ! Besides, Lajares is the best place in the world -)

Amazing laid back family villa with mountain view

We had a brilliant stay at this beautiful spot. The pool was gorgeous and a lovely temperature. Big enough for our family of 4 to splash about in for several hours. The garden of the villa opens out onto the mountain landscape and you really feel part of nature when you are out there. The house itself is spacious and airy, with all the facilities you need. We cooked lots of our own meals and used the great outdoor barbecue area several times. The villa is based in the surf town of Lajares which is cool and laid back, and has lots of little cafes and restaurants you could walk to. We loved every minute of the stay.

Perfect Relaxing Break

The villa is spacious and well provisioned. The views are fantastic and there is little to no noise (apart from our children 🙈). The pool is nice and deep at one end and shallow at the other which allowed the kids to play. Delia was a great host and even when we managed to lock ourselves out she was able to sort it in a short time even though she was in another country. Would definitely reccomend

Wonderful holiday, great villa!

We had a fabulous stay at the end of July. Lajares is a lovely, laid-back town, with excellent friendly cafes and restaurants. We chose it because of it’s great location for beautiful surfing beaches. Lajares has a good selection of surf hire shops - we used Joyas Surfschool. The villa is just a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive into the centre of town. It is very spacious, both inside and out, and even has a utility room and drying area. The heated pool is wonderful. The host couldn’t be more helpful. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a restful holiday.

Fabulous family holiday

Absolutely fabulous villa, pool and location. Delia was extremely helpful throughout and the welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch. The villa was well equipped and we felt at home from the start. The BBQ and pool area were beautiful and enjoyed daily. The heated pool was glorious and Lajares is a wonderful village to stay in - has everything, supermarkets, bakers, restaurants, shops. We would also recommend Corralejo for lovely restaurants and a catamaran trip to Lobos island which was our favourite day trip away from the villa. Our flight was changed to later on in the day so Delia kindly arranged for us to check out later in the day which was a great help. We would highly recommend this villa and thank you delia for sharing your wonderful home.

Relaxing

The Villa has a good aspect out of the wind and lovely shade, which was needed. Well equipped and clean and everything worked. The owner had kindly left instructions for a fossil walk, near the Villa, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. The man who looked after our pool was helpful and always very cheerful. Great bbq, with all the equipment you need. Felt very sad saying goodbye after 3 weeks on the island as we have felt very relaxed. Thank you.

Keine luxuriöse Villa - eher renovierungsbedürftiges Haus

Leider kann ich nur höchstens 2 Sterne vergeben! Einen für die Lage des Hauses und den Pool - der ein wirklich schöne Abkühlung an den heißen Tagen geboten hat. Von einer luxuriösen Villa wie es in der Beschreibung beschrieben wird ist das Haus leider weit entfernt. Das Haus hat seine besten Tage hinter sich. Die Möbel sind nicht mehr im besten Zustand - die Betten sind richtig durchgelegen, die Couch abgenutzt und die Bäder bräuchten dringend eine Grundsanierung, die Vorhänge sind dreckig und/oder kaputt. Da das Haus über keine Klimaanlage verfügt, sind eindeutig zu wenige Fenster mit Fliegengitter (ganze 3) versehen. Abends waren zu viele Mücken unterwegs, sodass dann nicht mehr ausreichend gelüftet werden konnte. Das Besteck in der Küche könnte einen Austausch vertragen und deutlich aufgestockt werden. Das WiFi hat gut funktioniert. Fuerteventura ist eine wundervolle Insel um sich zu entspannen und den Alltag zu vergessen - doch leider nicht nochmal in diesem Haus.

Schönes Haus in Lajares

Wir waren zwei Wochen in Lajares und hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war gut, wir durften sogar etwas früher in das Haus. Vielen Dank dafür. Bilder/Beschreibung passen zum Zustand. Alles hat gut funktioniert und der Pool (die Kinder haben es geliebt) wurde gut gereinigt. Erwartet hier aber keinen Neubau, dass Haus ist etwas älter und hat seine Gebrauchsspuren. Eben alt aber gut unterhalten. Empfehlung: etwas mehr Geschirr. Für 4 Personen gut, bei 6 Personen dürfte es knapp werden.

una casa carina in una posizione perfetta

Abbiamo molto apprezzato il soggiorno a Fuerteventura. Per noi amanti della tranquillità Lajares è il paese perfetto. La casa è graziosa e pulita. Molto comodo il self check in. Due piccoli punti deboli: le panche pesantissime e scomode del tavolo interno e la mancanza delle zanzariere in alcune finestre. Nel complesso una ottima soluzione

A lovely villa

We have stayed in this villa several times and have already booked for next year, a real home from home especially as it now has a premier tv package. Situated in Lajares which is a fantastic village good restaurants, cafes and shops. Delia is a great host and answered any questions swiftly. Would recommend this villa
