The property has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and is tastefully decorated. It has a good size south facing terrace with sea views, and there is private parking in the basement garage. The communal roof top decked terrace has a pool and spectacular sea, river and mountain views. The property is ideally located in the heart of the village, which has an abundance of bars, restaurants and gift shops. The beach is 300m away (5 minutes walk) and the nearest mini-market is 50m away. Alvor is a much loved traditional Portuguese fishing village, full of character, with whitewashed buildings, cobbled streets, food market and church. There are several golf courses nearby (Alto and Penina) and others within a short drive (Palmares and Morgado). Also nearby are the busy towns of Portimao (5 minutes drive), the historical town of Silves, with its castle and cathedral (20 minutes drive) and the cosmopolitan town of Lagos (25 minutes drive).

Great Stay

Great place

The condo is perfect, plenty of room and so well equipped.Easy walking distance to all restaurants and grocery stores. Quick walk to the boardwalk.William is a fantastic host, both he and Ana addressed any questions quickly

Very nice property. The kitchen, living room, and deck were very nice spaces. Internet and TV good. Washing machine was a nice extra. The location was very good to the boardwalk, beach, and grocery store. The Green Door restaurant is excellent.

Alvor apartment

Good value. Great location. We were happy to have such a good size terrace. We were a bit disappointed our first task in Alvor was sourcing toilet tissue. Other than that it was set up for vacationers and we were happy with our booking. Lots of things to do within walking distance.

Fabulous location

Overall, we have had a really great stay at this apartment. The location is superb with it being just minutes away from the centre. Apartment was well equipped and had a really good amount of utensils etc. There is some slight maintenance needed but very minor and this wouldnt put us off staying here again. The building works didnt really bother us as we are up early anyway. We had a really great time here.

Alvor centre apartment

The property is very good. Very well located. However, the MAJOR construction site outside the front door (at the rear of the property) was a massive issue given the noise it generated from 8am to after 6pm. It ruined the overall experience. Guests should be made aware of the site before booking. We found the noise intolerable as well as the lack of privacy it generated from having bedrooms overlooked. The rooftop pool ambience is ruined by the noise and crane swinging overhead. Some people may not find the construction of 34 apartments/units an issue especially when steels and concrete are being put in. When the construction is finished it would score a far higher rating in terms of location/neighbourhood and overall experience.
