About this property

Lovely riverside home Free parking train station, shops, restaurants nearby

Your holiday starts the moment you arrive. Our lovely modern house on the bank of the river Arun. We are 5 minutes walk from shops, restaurants, mainline station and Littlehampton's blue flag bathing beach. Just across the river are Arun Yacht Club and Littlehampton Golf Club (please check with club if handicap certificate is required). Also within easy reach of Glorious Goodwood, the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival Weekend. We have a large double room with en-suite shower, a second room with twin beds as required and a third single room. There is a family bathroom as well as a ground floor cloakroom. Easy access by train or road and free offroad parking for onevehicle. Relax and Enjoy! Wifi available. All linen and towels are provided. Please note that all our photos are taken of the house or from the garden. A great place to relax and watch the river.
Direct trains to Gatwick Airport and London Victoria. Trains also to Chichester, Brighton and Portsmouth.


You will not pay pay a damage deposit prior to your stay. Instead, HomeAway keep your card on their file.

Great Holiday home

Lovely place, fully equipped, spacious, very clean. Good instruction to find the house. Wonderful views of the river, boats etc. Not far to walk to the beaches or to the town centre. Harbour Lights serve good food. Would definitely recommend the house and hope to go back again in the future.

Staying at this property was a dream! Everything you could need was provided and everything else is so local. Hosts were fabulous, great communication. The living room itself does have quite dated furnishings but we didnt mind that at all, it fits in well with the aesthetic. Beautiful kitchen with dining area, cozy living room and comfortable bedrooms that suited myself, partner and our two children perfectly. Every room was immaculately clean. The star of the show was the patio with its stunning view of the river and boats. Thank you very much to our hosts, we hope to stay again! :)

This is a lovely little house with wonderful views over the River Arun and in easy walking distance of some lovely restaurants, the seafront and other amenities and attractions. An excellent base for our relaxing weekend break.

Fabulous short break

Great communication before and after stay. The location was brilliant with plenty to see and do during our break. The house was very clean throughout. The best bit for us was watching the swans, turnstones and kingfisher from the bottom of the garden. We also managed to fit in some crabbing, great fun without going out Would definitely stay here again.

Great house in a great location

This house is in a great location. We hardly used our car as you can walk to everything including the high street shops, supermarket, pubs, restaurants, beaches and train station. It is lovely and peaceful to sit in the garden watching the river go by. The house had everything we needed and Barnaby and Valerie were great hosts.

Perfectly located, central with lovely views.

On the river Arun, you hardly need use your car. Walking to the sea and some great little local restaurant’s. 10 minutes along the path overlooking the boats. Recommend The Gravy Boat & The Arun View pub. Great food, with views. The property is nicely laid out, with such a peaceful outlook. A little gem of a place you’ll feel totally at home in.

The property is situated directly on the bank of the river Arun and it was such a shame that we didn't have the weather to sit outside and enjoy the view. Very close to the shops and station. Delicious fish & chips from Freds.

Comfortable home in perfect location

The home was extremely comfortable and within walking distance to everything we needed. Overlooking the Arun river from the patio was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the house had all the kitchen items required for our 9 night stay. Our host Valerie was amazing as she responded to any questions we had immediately. The off road parking was also a great help. It was the first time my family had all been together in 13 years and the house was perfect.

Lovely, riverside property

We are ex-pats who were in UK for our daughter's wedding. This is a lovely, comfortable home, with a delightful view of the river, which provides endless entertainment! The train station proved to be exceptionally convenient, as did the town centre, beach and walks. All in all, our multi-age group could get around with only one car and enjoying walking in the local area. It was a great place to stay!

Why they chose this property

We love the area. It is close to where we live. It is fantastic being next to the river. There is always something to see whatever the weather.

It's great to be able to walk out to the local pubs and restaurants or even just to get a newspaper first thing in the morning.

What makes this property unique

We have all the home comforts we need and our favourite restaurant just 5 minutes walk away. We like to just sit and chill out by the river, enjoying a drink or a meal to suit the occasion.. We both enjoy watching the bridge gracefully slide open whenever big ships go up the river to unload.
