You can walk direct from the front door to the SW Coast Path in under 10 minutes, and also from the house to Winspit and Seacombe - A SHORT DRIVE to the beaches at Swanage and Studland and historic Corfe Castle - Off Road Parking - The perfect property for families and friends - We book flexible dates throughout the year and Friday to Friday in June, July, August and September - beautiful detached architect designed Purbeck Stone family house with off-road parking in an elevated position with panoramic sea views overlooking the magnificent National Trust landscape towards Winspit and the Channel. Children very welcome. Superbly equipped, WiFi, centrally heated, 5 comfortable bedrooms. CLEANING FEE IS BASED ON THE PROPERTY BEING LEFT IN THE CONDITION YOU FOUND THE HOUSE ON ARRIVAL. We take great care with our Covid Cleaning program. My husband and I fell in love with Worth Matravers on our very first visit and were delighted to move to the village in 1985. We purchased the original plot for the house in 1996 and by 2002 had finished the new property to our own design. The house is personally managed by ourselves to the highest standard together with our wonderful housekeepers. We love to welcome families and friends coming to stay and spend time together in this beautiful location near the sea.

Why they chose this property

We've known and loved the area since the 1970's and the village has that special atmosphere of sea, coast and countryside unique to the Purbecks, convenient to everywhere but with a unique and beautiful setting all it's own. We love the panoramic views from the house and the way that you can step out the front door into the most beautiful landscape, with the Jurassic Coast path at your feet, pop to the village pub, stroll to the traditional village green and duck pond but be on the beach with bucket, spade and deck chairs within a few minute's drive.

What makes this property unique

This really is the perfect house for families and friends getting together. It's architect designed and tailor-made for 3 generation families,extended family groups and friends. There's plenty of room to spend time together in comfort, and with 5 bedrooms and zip and link beds in 3 of the 5 bedrooms, there's loads of flexibility in offering space and comfort for each individual booking.

We love having families with babies and children, and can provide the bulky equipment like cots, a toddler bed and high chairs as a complimentary extra to make your holiday with youngsters as hassle free as possible.

Children and adults love the spacious downstairs layout, there's masses of room for kids to play and and plenty of comfortable sofas so everyone can spread out and relax. Outside living is amply catered for, with stunning views to the sea and an enclosed rear garden with wrap around terraces and seating. Plenty of off road parking too!
The kitchen is amply equipped to cater for the guest number and there are lots of thoughtful extras. The lovely conservatory dining room is a super plus, with a fantastic big table seating 10 for wonderful family meals together.

The sea views from the house are just amazing and altogether it's the perfect place to make happy family holidays a resounding success.
