2 BR condo in a beautiful resort, super clean, great beach, Sleeps 6

This unit is in the Worldmark timeshare resort and is managed by Wyndham, ranked #3 hotel group in the USA (after Hilton and Marriott). Wyndham goes above and beyond industry standards to please us, Worldmark owners, so we would extend their managing contract every year. The resort in Kihei has 200 units and the cleaning and maintenance team keeps them in a perfect shape. I've been fortunate to accumulate a lot of Worldmark vacation points but don't have time to use them all. As my guests you will have all rights and privileges of regular owners. If something breaks or you run out of kitchen and bathroom necessities, simply call the front desk and they will take care of everything right away. The resort is located just across the street from a great beach, Kamaole 1, very calm and kids friendly. Resort also offers a nice outdoor pool, hot tub, a children's pool, barbecue grilling areas as well as fitness and recreational centers. No smoking inside the unit, no pets allowed, must be 21 or older to book. At check-in the resort will ask for a credit or debit card damage hold, fully refundable.
Units are assigned the morning of check-in and you will be assigned the best available unit on the day you arrive. Pictures you see here are provided by the resort and represent a typical unit. All units are air conditioned, have similar size and layout, and same appliances, furniture, and supplies.
For your convenience, you will find a starter supply of spices, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper and laundry soap.

The beach is right across the street, ABC store is right next-door, walking distance to restaurants, coffee, shops, and more. Best sunsets ever the pool and hot tub are great.

Nice two bedroom unit. Clean, plenty of room. The pool, hot tub, and workout facilities were very nice. We really liked the Kihei location, right across the street from beach, and we were also able to easily walk to 3 nice restaurants for dinners during our stay.

Fun Kihei Family Getaway

My family had a great stay at this property. Fun pool for the kids, large well-equipped gym and steps from the beach. Also very conveniently located to shopping and plenty of dining options. A great getaway spot and genuine value.

Not far from the beach

The unit was not real clean which means they don’t give their staff enough time to clean units and don’t pay them enough. The carpet kept our feet black we own a carpet cleaning company and saw a guy carrying a product we use for urine damage but it’s not for cleaning carpets. That explains why they’re not clean and get your feet black. The twin beds were a nightmare. You can feel the coils. There weren’t enough towels and the staff are instructed to be really frugal. They said in the description that they start you with toilet paper and paper towels and you know what that means! The wall plates and door handles and the walls and doors around them are all dirty. For the price we paid I expected a lot nicer

Great location!

We just got back from another wonderful trip to Maui. We stayed at the resort with 5 adults and we had plenty of space. We were lucky to have an ocean view with a close proximity to the pool. The pool was great and we were a block away from the beach. I will for sure book this property again!

Very good location, the resort is OK, just basic necessities

The Woodmark resort is right across a good beach, walking distance from several stores and restaurants, so the location is really great. We enjoyed more than once a beautiful sunset there. The condo itself is clean and spacious, but done on the inexpensive side. The bed mattresses were good, which was important for us. It has basic necessities, i.e. plates, cups, utensils, a few pots and pans, beach towels, and we got some additional blankets to use when we went to volcano for the sunrise. However, since it is managed by Wyndham (big hotel company), it is a hotel after all and does not feel like home. Things that are usually present in vacation home: cooking oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper (there was a tiny set of those that would be enough to spice one or two dishes), various odds and ends in the kitchen to make it usable; beach gear like chairs, umbrella, coolers - all this was lacking. I cooked a few times during our stay and had to buy oil, salt, plastic wrap, etc. to make it possible. Another issue is that you are assigned whatever unit is available at the time of your check-in. We got a unit with lanai overlooking a parking lot and we used it mostly for keeping our snorkeling gear there. It had a table and chairs but the view was not enticing at all. For the money we paid it was disappointing.

The pool and also the rentals desk were closed due to Covid - this hadn't been communicated. Also we ended up having to leave early due to Covid, and are struggling to find reimbursement for the 3 days we didn't use. If possible, any help would be appreciated - thanks!

Kihei All The Way!!

We absolutely LOVE staying in Kihei. Very low key and not as busy as other areas on the island. We have stayed at the Worldmark resort in the past and were happy to be able to stay again. The room was not as clean as it could have been. Kind of had a musty smell and updates are definitely needed. I heard they are planning to remodel in the near future so hopefully that is the case. Still, it was a comfortable stay and you really can't beat the location. Amazing beach right across the street and good food all around. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this vacation and we plan to return in the future!! Thanks again!!

Hawaiian perfect

This is the third time we have stayed at this property, there is no better value in Hawaii. It’s across the street from one of the best beaches, close to a huge ABC store that will have everything you might need. The beach rental store is in that same building. It has umbrellas, chairs, boards and snorkeling gear for the cheapest price on the islands. The food trucks that park in front on the hotel are fantastic. Aloha

Kamaole/Kihei Paradise

This was a great property in the Kamaole/Kihei location. Directly across the street from Kamaole I and easy access to II. Very close to all the restaurants and shopping in South Kihei and easily walk-able for dinners and shopping. Unit was very clean, slept our family of 5 very comfortably. Units are slightly dated, but very well maintained with everything in working order. Excellent amenities at the resort, great pool, lounge chairs, ping pong, workout room. Expedia Activities advisers on site, which we used to book a snorkeling trip to Molokini. Highly recommend.

Best VRBO stay ever. Lots of amenities and attention to details to make it a perfect stay

Good location in Maui. The unit we stayed was clean and comfortable. The murphy bed was a great idea.... and does not rely on a sofa bed to accommodate a couple of kids. Kitchen well stocked with spice packets, coffee filters for our entire stay. All bedrooms have AC, not just the living room. We didn't experience any high pressure time share pitch (as opposed to previous reviews for this place. The two food trucks + shaved ice van parked against the street next to WorldMark are great deals if you don't want to go out for dinner.

Quite nice but dated

Semi renovated resort with friendly staff and nice pool area. Resort had plenty of parking and was clean and had well kept grounds. BBQs were scraped and wiped clean every morning by maintenance and supplies for the room are available from 8 to 4 at the housekeeping building. Rooms had new carpet (but not particularly clean) and tiling, decent stove and microwave but our fridge was leaking water into the main compartment. We just put a pot to catch the water as we didn't want to change rooms with 3 kids. Bathroom fans were super noisy as well. Beds are super soft but not lumpy, murphy bed had the firmest mattress in the suite. Good price for the size you get and directly across from beach. Some Beach toys can be found in the pool area left by previous guests, including a few pairs of flip flops that really shouldn't be in there..... 3 food trucks are located on the street beside the resort and they don't disappoint. The Thai one is a bit pricey and the other truck, Kinaole Grill has to die for Calamari with some of the best spicy mayo ever. Shaved ice is the third truck you'll find there.

Beautiful resort with great amenities

Property was as described. Resort was responsive to our inquiries. We love to snorkel, and the resort rented the gear for half of what the shops did. Pool and spa were great. The unit was clean and large enough for 6 people. Resort will refresh bath and beach towels as often as you want, and will provide extra soap and detergent as needed. We will definitely stay here again! The only issue we had while there was the shower in the master was not done correctly and flooded the floor. Maintenance came in the next day and fixed the issue. Everyone there was very nice.
