Cozy apartment (renovated at the end of 2018) with terrace facing the Sea-Lagoon, in the Costa Serena Village (in the pristine promontory between Porto Rafael and Porto Pollo) where wide sandy beaches alternate with coves with crystal clear waters and breathtaking views, rocks, granite sculptures rose and in the background the islands of the Maddalena archipelago.
Your apartment consists of a cozy living room with a sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms (one of which is in a loft with a roof window) and a bathroom (redone in 2018). Outside, a large terrace overlooking the sea / lagoon, perfect for sunset dinners, perhaps with a glass of Sardinian wine.
Its position of the apartment is ideal: The village swimming pool, a supermarket and some restaurants are just a few minutes walk away and the village beach, just 150 meters from the driveway, is perfect for a relaxing holiday with your family or friends. A few minutes walk you can reach the wonderful Cala Scilla and the natural pools. The Village is also equipped with a shared tennis court and 2 swimming pools, including 1 for children (open during the summer) both for a fee. Finally Porto Pollo, Porto Rafael and the center of Palau a few minutes by car. Private parking is available in (Place A 20). Pets are allowed (on request, for a fee). Next to the beach there is also a pontoon for boats, also for the rental of a dinghy. With day trips (sailing or motor) from the Port of Palau you can reach the Maddalena islands, Caprera, Spargi, Budelli and Corsica (ferry from Santa Teresa di Gallura). finally, a few minutes by car, you can reach the Costa Smeralda and Porto Pollo (Kitesurfing and Windsurfing spots).

Relax in buona posizione

La casa è all'interno di un villaggio dove c'è sia il resort sia il residence (purtroppo le indicazioni non sono presenti e la prima volta abbiamo girato un po' a vuoto cercando l'immobile). Dotata di accessori, aeno di 10min da Palau e da supermercati, negozi e ristoranti. Buona posizione per escursioni nell'arcipelago della maddalena e per le più belle spiagge della costa Smeralda e della Gallura (alcune a poche centinaia di metri). Parcheggio riservato, la casa ha una camera da letto soppalcata con accesso da scala (un po' ripida e scomoda), nelle giornate di caldo abbiamo sofferto un po' la mancanza dei climatizzatori poiché la casa ha disponibili ventilatori e raffrescatori (con acqua e ghiaccio). Tutto sommato però ci siamo trovati bene anche perché abbiamo usato la casa per qualche pranzo o cena e poi per dormire, il resto del tempo ovviamente eravamo in giro... la verandina è comoda per un po' di relax ma..quante formiche mannaggia! La vegetazione ovviamente comporta questo aspetto negativo: insetti e formiche in quantità... Consiglierei una migliore cuscineria all'esterno e meno verde incolto per ridurre le formiche. L'host è stato gentile e ci ha supportato nelle nostre necessità per una vacanza di Relax.

No Air Conditioning!

The property description states that there is Air Conditioning, there is NOT! We had to find other accomadation and have not been reimbursed by the owner or VRBO. VRBO Customer service has been of little help resolving this issue. Stay somewhere else if it's going to be hot and you don't want to sweat all night and have mosquitoes in your room as there are no screens or mosquito netting so leaving the window open at night is not a option.

La posizione dell'appartamento è buona in una zona molto bella da cui partono alcuni sentieri tramite i quali si raggiungono delle spiagge bellissime. La struttura si affaccia su una laguna molto suggestiva, avvolta da una macchia mediterranea profumata. L'appartamento però è un pò datato e avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione , ad eccezione del bagno, unica stanza ristrutturata di recente. Punto dolente sono la cucina e soprattutto l'impianto elettrico (alcune prese elettriche non sono sicure e la luce spesso salta e occorre uscire in cortile per riallacciarla ). L'appartamento inoltre non risulta molto fruibile in quanto sono moltissime le cose riposte dai proprietari che occupano buona parte degli spazi, che già sono un pò angusti. Il posto auto spesso non è stato fruibile, perchè accessibile da chiunque e i turisti non sono informati che i posti auto corrispondono alle abitazioni . Simpatica la vicina di casa . Insomma buona la posizione ma l'appartamento non ci ha soddisfatto.

Esperienza da ripetere.

Appartamento piccolino, ma molto grazioso e super accessoriato. Host gentilissimo, ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni per sfruttare al meglio la vacanza. Residence bello, piscina, ristorante, market. Location fantastica, da qui si raggiungono le spiagge tra le più belle della Sardegna e poi a dieci minuti di navigazione c'è quel gioiello dell'Arcipelago della Maddalena.

Comodo appartamento in posizione strategica

Abbiamo prenotato la metà Agosto l'appartamento per esplorare le spiaggie della Gallura con i miei due figli appena maggiorenni e ci siamo trovati veramente bene. E" un residence in una posizione tranquilla in un contesto paesaggistico stupendo. Purtroppo per via del covid il market e altri servizi erano chiusi. L''appartamento è piccolo ma ha personalità è comodo e non manca di nulla. Ci siamo goduti soprattutto il balconcino che forse avrebbe bisogno di un tendalino perché il sole picchia. Si raggiungono belle spiaggie poco frequentate con brevi o meno brevi passeggiate. Ma è consigliatissimo avere un mezzo. A pochi chilometri c'è di tutto. Abbiamo fatto surf e serate a Porto Pollo 10 min. Il tour del parco della Maddalena da Palau 15 min. E puntate in Costa Smeralda 35 Min. Se volete girare e fare base fuori dalla folla lo consiglio. Inoltre propietario e tenutaria sono stati molto gentili e disponibili.

the terrace is great, everything else very small and dark

The communication with Frannie went very well beforehand until we were there and noticed that we couldn't close the front door. We also couldn't use the rain shower and asked Frannie these questions. 2 days later he wrote back. How we change the shower to the rain shower, we found out until then ourselves. To the not lockable entrance door he wrote then, he would repair this after our stay. Then we always put a suitcase in front of the door. We didn't like that. Otherwise the apartment is really small, much too small for 6 adults. For us two ok. The couch in the living room is not really a couch, because the mattress is missing and therefore it war hard like stone. The dishes and the pots were not clean and we had to wash everything before. Nevertheless everything what one needs was available. Frannie's recommendations, especially those of the restuarant Cucumiao, were fabulous and we can recommend them to others. Since we were on the road most of the time and were only in the apartment in the evening, it was ok.

Lage ok. Wohnung und Möbel in sehr schlechtem Zustand, zugemüllt und dreckig.

Eines vorne weg, die Bilder aus der Anzeige sind uralt. Der Meerblick wird mittlerweile durch einen riesigen Baum (auf den Bildern noch klein) komplett versperrt. Für den Preis für 2 Wochen Ende August (2 Erwachsene + 3 Kinder) ist die Wohnung viel zu teuer. Auch viel zu klein. Beworben wird sie für 6 Erwachsene. Das ausziehbare Bett im Wohnzimmer war auf Grund des Zustandes gar nicht benutzbar. In der Beschreibung und auf den Bildern wird ein drittes Schlafzimmer suggeriert, welches aber leider nicht vorhanden war. Die Wohnung und die Möbel sind total heruntergekommen und in einem miserablen Zustand. Die Schränke und Ablageflächen sind mit jede Menge Krempel total zugemüllt. Die Wohnung war vor Bezug nicht sauber, es lag noch Müll herum und das Geschirr in den Schubladen war noch dreckig. Mussten wir vorher abwaschen. Die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher mussten wir erstmal selber zusammensuchen und vor der Benutzung waschen. Auch hat es in der Wohnung extrem gemüffelt. Damit wir uns einigermaßen wohlfühlen, haben wir erstmal gesaugt und komplett durchgewischt. Dafür hätten wir der Putzfrau auch noch Trinkgeld geben sollen!! Bei der Benutzung ist ein Teil der Balkontürverglasung zu Bruch gegangen. Dabei habe ich mir eine sehr tiefe Schnittverletzung zugezogen, die genäht werden musste. Dabei ist es ist noch glimpflich ausgegangen. Nicht vorstellbar wenn es den Kindern passiert wäre. Es war ein sehr dünnes Einscheibenglas. Das Glas an der Vitrinen Tür ist dicker. Der Vermieter hat dann auf unsere Kosten ein sehr viel hochwertigeres und dickeres Glas einbauen lassen. Die Kaution wurde einbehalten. Ursprünglich hätten wir zusätzlich zur Kaution auch noch die komplette Handwerkerrechnung bezahlen sollen! Eine Frechheit! Fazit: Diese Wohnung kann ich keinem empfehlen! Der aktuelle Preis sollte mindestens um die Hälfte reduziert werden! Eigentlich Null bzw. negative Sterne. Dies geht leider nicht.

Liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit direktem Strandzutritt

Es hat alles bestens funktioniert. Frannie haben wir leider nie kennengelernt, aber er hat uns super Ausflugstipps gegeben. Die Wohnung ist praktisch und sardisch eingerichtet. Den Kindern gefiel der Steinstrand am besten. Die ganze Ferienanlage war sehr sympathisch. Der Pool war eigentlich schön, aber leider mit Salzwasser und mit Badekappe. Das Informationsbüro in Costa Serena Village war deutschsprachig und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Very nice flat!!

Very Nice flat! It was everything in it what we needed! The dishes and the furniture is very Special (positiv!!) The Balkony is lovely! We enjoyed Dinner on it every evening! The support was great! We traveled with our little son (2 years) and Frannie put, only for our little one, a Baby-bed into the flat! We Love to Ride with our bikes to the surf Spot Isola Gabiani -only 2,8 km away. (Perfect!!) At the Time we were there all restaurants and Shops of the „AHR costa Serena village“ wereclosed due to the fact that it was „pre-Season“ -we enjoyed the silence and space!
