With it's own front door from the Rue du Rocher, number 3 is a charming, newly renovated town house, comprising at entrance level open plan US kitchen dining area with views onto the street and leading to the sitting room, with seating area, fireplace, flat screen TV and a guest toilet. Stairs lead up to the first floor with master double bedroom, shower room and a small twin bedroom. Stairs continue up to a second living room/double bedroom. Large Sofa and a fold down wall bed. Large doors leading out to an open roof terrace. Perfect for meals outside or a glass of rose in the evening sun. Extremely rare in a village property, this outside area completes the village experience. A perfect spot for dining or a sundowner or just relaxing...

I grew up in England in Surrey, then moved to France with my 3 children, 14 years ago. We currently live in Opio - just 4km from Valbonne. I am a teacher at an international school in Sophia Antipolis and also work for and English Theatre company, performing on the Cote d'Azur.

Why they chose this property

Village houses must be in a perfect position, not on a very noisy square , but be in the heart of the village. This is the case with my house! Roof terraces or outside space are rare in the village . We have a lovely roof terrace and also a fireplace for the winter - these are the reasons that make this house so special.

What makes this property unique

Roof terrace, wonderful street, just a couple of steps from the square, original features and beams, mixed with up to the minute mod cons.
