Overall we were very impressed with our stay at the cottage. Everything just perfect from the moment we stepped through the door:Cleanliness, furnishings, comfy bed & pillows all excellent.Northumberland is a wonderful county a d there’s lots to explore.
Beautiful place in a peaceful village. The cottage was 5 stars. We loved staying in the cottage, everything there for us, couldn't have asked for more. Our dog loved the garden and so did we, so peaceful to sit and listen to the bird's. Tjete is just one little thing, the cottage is not accessible by car, we had to carry everything down a narrow lane to the cottage which was a little disappointing as i have a curvature of the spine and not very mobile, i think this needs to be brought to peoples attention before booking. Overall though we loved every moment and would recommend anyone who wants a peaceful escape. The beaches are amazing near by
What a little gem this cottage is. Absolutely spotless on arrival, welcome basket, very welcoming , lovely touch. Everything you need for a home from home stay. Very comfortable bed. The garden is beautiful, you can see it’s well looked after, very private and enclosed which was great for our dog, who loved it too. The bird song I will miss a great deal. To sit out and just listen to the birds, sheep & cows, tranquility. The village itself is lovely, everyone so friendly. A great base for exploring Northumbria. Will definitely be returning.
Cottage was cosy and well appointed. Very well placed for visiting historic sites of Northumberland and the coast. We enjoyed beautiful sunny but very cold days. Would certainly recommend this cottage and its location.
An idyllic cottage and garden. Perfect for a relaxing get away in beautiful Northumberland. Great communication from owners. Lovely welcome pack. Planning a return visit asap. Thank you.
Such a gorgeous cottage, clean, calm and tranquil. Really nicely presented with super quality interiors which was so appreciated. We wanted for nothing and the extra touches of little chocolates, breakfast basket and tissues we wonderful little touches. We stayed with our two dogs and they loved it. So many beaches to walk in the day and a cosy log burner by night. We will certainly come to DogDaisy again.

The cottage is amazing and one of the best we’ve stayed in. The location is perfect for exploring both countryside and coast. So many great reviews so all I’ll say is, if you’re thinking about it, book it! You definitely won’t regret it!
The cottage is very private and quiet with a beautiful garden. We had a lovely time as it was so pretty and comfortable. The area offers lots to do and is also a reasonable drive to the wonderful Northumberland coast. Would be keen to return.

Paul and I live in Leeds and have a busy life with work, family and running a holiday cottage. We visit as regularly as possible as the cottage has a lovely homely feel with a delightful garden which we enjoy pottering and relaxing in. Why they chose this property
We had a couple of holidays in Northumberland several years ago and decided we would love to be able to own a cottage. We felt so lucky when this property came on the market and knew it was just what we were looking for, despite the pouring rain when we viewed it. It's perfectly placed to visit all the lovely gardens, castles, coast and villages Northumberland has to offer, and yet is situated in the beautiful countryside in a small peaceful hamlet so it's the perfect place for a break away from everyday life.
What makes this property unique
This is a spacious 1 bedroom cottage which is tucked away, offering a real sense of peace and tranquility and has a lovely very private south facing garden which is a real sun trap in summer. Winter breaks allow for cosy nights in front of the fire after walks in the countryside or on the wonderful beaches.
