We had a lovely stay in this fabulous house.

We had a lovely stay in this fabulous house. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and although we didn’t have our dog with us, there was a welcome pack for a dog. Location was great, near nice pubs and restaurants all within a short distance. Had warm, sunny weather which meant we could sit out in the back garden. Will definitely be back.

Overall Hotspur View is comfortable holiday accommodation.

Overall Hotspur View is comfortable holiday accommodation. It's big 'plus' is its extremely convenient central but very quiet location in central Alnwick just minutes walk from the shops. Some quibbles that might be helpful to mention would be:- parking in the parking area at the back doesn't seem allocated, so there was a risk on one occasion of there being not an available parking place there;- it was winter, the house was slightly cold. The central heating could only be set to a max of 21 degrees, not warm enough, and we couldn't set the time bands. The supplementary electric heater in the living room was complicated to use and using supplementary heating means the central heating didn't come on meaning the rest of the house was cold - the thermostat's in the living room;- it was icy when we left, so the slope from back yard to the gate was hazardous when we packed the car. These are quibbles - but thank you to the owner for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
