About this property

Close to San Marco and Biennale - spacious flat

Nice and central flat completely at your completely disposal.
It is a spacious, bright and comfortable apartment at the second floor, with 2 double bedrooms, fully furnished kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms with shower and washing machine. 1 minute walk to Arsenale stop (where you can also find the link to the airport / train station / Piazzale Roma) and less then 10 mins to San Mark's Square. Very nice and venetian area, full of shops, restaurants, arts, culture and supermarket near by.

Independent heating and wifi (unlimited and speed). Towels and sheets are included.

All the tourists who will stay in Venice will have to pay a fee of € 4.00 per person / night up to a maximum of 5 nights (from the 6th night onwards you pay nothing). There will be reductions of 50% for children aged between 10 and 16 years. The fee will be collected by me during check-in by cash.

Close to everything

The apartment is close to the Arsenale vaperetto stop but it is tucked away on a quiet side street. It is a short walk to St Mark’s square along the Grand Canal. The vapetto’s will take you all around to the different islands, check out the website lovevenice.net for nice vaperetto maps and time schedules. We visited Murano and Burrano. We ate at Al Vecio Portal which is just around the corner and it was delicious! There is a great bakery near the grocery store with good hot chocolate and pastries. The stairs are steep to get up to the apartment, but it is well furnished and had what we needed. We loved our stay in Venice!

A perfect location for your Venice vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our Venice vacation, in no small part due to this excellent VRBO hosted by Irene and Francesca. It is located just a minute from access to water taxis, yet you're on a secluded (and safe) alley. Step outside the VRBO and start winding your way through Venice's incredible network of alleys, lined with cafes, restaurants and shops. Even better, this VRBO is not in the heart of the most touristy areas, yet you're also just a short walk from those areas. Just a perfect location. We want to thank the hosts in particular for asking if we wanted them to arrange a private taxi to get us from Santa Lucia train station to as close to the VRBO as possible; this was an absolute godsend. We took them up on this, and as a result, we didn't have to figure out how we were going to get to the VRBO; they had arranged someone to meet up with us at the station and "drive" (boat) us there. And what better way to get welcomed to Venice with a bunch of luggage than hopping straight into a boat that whisks you to your location? The apartment itself was clean and just as described, with two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Also, because we had two children with us, the hosts separated the beds in one room so they each had their own bed. This too was very accomodative and helpful. Venice was an incredible place to visit, and this VRBO and these hosts helped to make it easier for the "Venice-ignorant" tourist. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Très bel appartement bien situé dans une ruelle calme proche des vaporetti, des magasins pour les courses et des restaurants. Deux très grandes chambres avec deux grands lits, deux salles d’eau avec wc et une cuisine bien pourvue. Le tout nickel et bien décoré. Bonne communication avec Irène (l’hôte) par WhatsApp. Nécessité de parler anglais pour tous les échanges et pour comprendre les infos à disposition dans l’appartement.

Cute 2-bedroom minutes from the Arsenale

Very nice apartment with 2 good sized bedrooms, one with en-suite bath and the other full bath up the stairs. Very perfectly located for Biennale-goers and around the corner from some of the best restaurants in Venice. Kitchen is fully equipped. No living room to speak of but the kitchen became the center for breakfasts and pre-dinner drinks. Irene, the owner, was super responsive by text and email. Recommended.

Beau séjour à Venise

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à cet appartement. Irène et Francesca nous ont fourni beaucoup d'informations avant d'y arriver afin d'agrémenter notre séjour. Par courriels, les réponses étaient rapides. Appartement situé à quelques minutes à pied d'une station de vaporettos. Le salon est en fait un corridor mais puisque nous étions là peu de temps, on a pu s'en accommoder . Les indications pour s'y rendre étaient claires. Il faudrait toutefois nettoyer les rebords de la douche car ils n'étaient pas propres. La seconde salle de bain est en haut et il fait très chaud. Il manque un séchoir à cheveux dans la salle de bain qui est dans la chambre. Somme toute, j'y retournerais.

Appartement coquet, très agréable, propre, calme, très bien placé, proche de la place Saint Marc et dans le coeur du Castello véritable quartier vénitien. Pour la communication, le Français pourrait être utilisé car pour les personnes qui ne parlent pas ou n'écrivent et ne comprennent pas l'anglais, c'est un peu compliqué (cf notices d'accès au logement, utilisation des équipements, taxe séjour,.....). Francesca et Irène ont été réactives et toujours disponibles !

tolle Lage, alles da, nette Vermieter - was will man mehr.

alles war prima und unkompliziert. Beim ersten Mal haben wir den Eingang nicht gleich gefunden, selbst mit Karte und google-maps war die Orientierung auf der Insel zumindest am Anfang nicht einfach. In Venedig war die Zeit bevor die Tagestouristen kamen und nachdem sie wieder weg waren, besonders schön ! ;O)).

lovely apartment in great location

Francesca, the lovely owner, is very friendly and helpful, and offers a great apartment that is very clean and comfortable and provides all that you need for your stay. The apartment is only minutes away from San Marco, yet is located in a quiet area, only 2 minutes away from the waterfront and all that that has to offer. as well as being near to good restaurants, a bread shop and a well stocked supermarket that is within a 10 minute walk. Castello is a great location to stay in, you can wander for hours without getting caught up in the busy tourist areas, taking in Italian, life, culture and architecture. This was not our first visit to Venice, but definitely the most enjoyable and comfortable. We certainly hope to return to Venice and the apartment.
