A luxuriously appointed, fully renovated fisherman's cottage a stone's throw from the lovely beach in Cullen Bay. Comfortably sleeps seven and is ideal for couples and families of all ages. The cottage is perfectly suitable for visitors who may not be so mobile. Aired and heated all year round, our cottage is exactly as we would wish any property to be that we ourselves would rent. A romantic getaway or a quiet holiday with little toddlers or an action packed adventure for older kids, our cottage is the perfect base to explore all that Cullen and the Moray Firth have to offer.

Nice place, beautiful location. Mattresses were a bit old in one room and another room could have used a wardrobe but we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was a nice size and there was plenty of room in the house.

Lovely, spacious house - unusual for Seatown. Nice outdoor space and very convenient for beach and harbour. Very generous welcome hamper on arrival, which was much appreciated. We’ll definitely return.

Our second stay at 86 Seatown, and it was as lovely as ever. Doug managed to squeeze us in as a late booking, once again, thanks so much! The cottage is perfectly kitted out, with a beautiful kitchen and lovely comfy beds. The welcome basket is a lovely touch. Try the Wasgij jigsaws in the cupboard in the lounge - great fun, so much so, I’ve ordered one for myself! Thanks again Doug and team, we’ll be back! The Sykes family

We loved our stay at this fantastic house in Seatown! It is very spacious and very comfortable. The bed was comfy, the shower pressure was great and the knives were sharp. We were there for a month and have no complaints.

Dear Doug, we had a fantastic stay in your beautiful house! The location right close to the sea is just unbelievable, and the four separate bedrooms were perfect for us. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed the great, long walks and visiting many whisky distilleries. We'd love to come back!

Fabulous stay in Bonney Cullen

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely house. It is with out a doubt the best equipped and most comfortable holiday home that we have stayed in. The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of walks and nice places to eat right on your doorstep. I highly recommend it and hope to return in the future.

Perfect property in a great location in Cullen

We really enjoyed our 3rd stay at Doug’s house in seatown only a few streets away from Cullens beautiful beaches. The house is clean spacious and well appointed. Doug is a good communicator and always on hand to help or answer inquiries.

Our own family cottage that we rent out now that our surfing teenager has other interests. Been coming to this area for more years than we care to remember, so know all the locals and the way life is in this part of the world.

Why they chose this property

Ten years ago. Needed a base for surfing on the Maray coast - nowhere better. Fantastic relaxing part of the country, but only a short drive to Aberdeen or Inverness for the big city feel. The weather always seems to be kind and the beaches are amongst the best in Europe - handy when the cottage is only 100m to our beach.

What makes this property unique

Luxury and especially important, effective central heating and wood burning stoves! Aired and heated throughout the year, so none of that damp feel of so many cottages. Kitted out to the highest standard, you can even do your own cordon bleu cooking in our fabulous kitchen and then sit down round the huge dining table and talk about the next day's plans. Or relax in the huge bath upstairs or have a game of Scrabble in front of the wood burning stoves. On that odd occasion of poor weather, just stay in and be nice and warm. Unlimited superfast fibe optic broadband included.
