This is a littleHidden gem, absolutely lovely stay with a cosy home from home experience. Everything is provided and the log burner was such a treat during the storm. We slept like logs and wanted for nothing, the homemade cake was a delicious surprise. We will definitely be back again x

Lovely location, peaceful. The stable is beautiful, had everything we needed and more. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed and the fresh fruit cake and Mike on arrival were delicious. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time. 5 star

The Stable was a fantastic stay, really clean and the hosts were really welcoming. The Stables is secluded but well worth the drive to it. It was so quiet and peaceful and the log fire a really welcome bonus that made for a very cosy stay.

This was a great property. Quite remote but a wonderful location. Lovely garden and very clean, comfortable cottage. Well appointed kitchen and bedroom.Seating area had a log burner which we didn't use but would have been nice in cooler conditions.

Lovely place to stay surrounded by nature. Nick and Jean were very welcoming and communicative. Spotless cleaning and lovely details such as fresh flowers made us feel welcome. A haven of tranquility. A delightful spot. Warm first day, cool and wet day 2 but plug in radiator more than adequate. Cooker, simple to use, good instructions, perfect for 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals. Wet room ideal, bed very comfortable.

The Stable is without doubt one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The location is absolutely beautiful, and even during Storm Dave it felt wonderfully cosy with the wood burner glowing away. When the storm passed, we were treated to blue skies and wildlife all around—so peaceful and calming. I could quite happily live here.Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and the cottage itself was immaculate. The host was also very friendly and welcoming.

Good home, Clean, and in a lovely setting. Great shower after a long walk and a comfortable bed to sleep in.Hotel on the drive to house does a great evening meal if you are taking a break from cooking

I had a wonderful day at the stable. Jean was super helpful when I arrived. The gorgeous cake was a very welcome surprise after a long journey. I sat on the doorstep watching the birds fly in and around the amazing garden. I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough!

Beautiful location

Thd Stable is a lovely little holiday home with all amenities and a beautiful garden. What we liked the most was the location at the end of a long windy road which ended in a track.

The location is remote, which means it is very quiet and you can see beautiful starry skies. The cottage is cosy and fully furnished. Be aware that it is a split-level design (if you have knee problems like we do). The owners are very welcoming.
