Had a lovely long weekend here! House was really comfortable and clean and had everything we needed (I don’t think I’ve been in a holiday cottage that had sharp kitchen knives before!). Lots of good recommendations for places to go in the village as well. The only downside is we had to go home!

Gorgeous cottage on Hathersage. It was a great base to explore the Peak District. We loved having the garden to relax in and the cottage offered plenty of space for our party of six.We had a really lovely stay!

Beautiful property. Much larger than expected. Ideal for a family of 8 and a group of friends. Perfect location for Hathersage. Cottage was so well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Pippa was warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The property was perfect for my family of five (travelling with two cars) and ranging in ages from 13 to 80.If we are ever back in this area this is where we're staying.

This was our 4th stay in Topcroft and we continue to be impressed! Everything has always been thought of including provisions of tea, cake and bread. The beds are very comfortable and the size, space and amenities (4 toilets) means we have a very relaxing stay with 8 of us in the house. The house is very clean and welcoming, the location is brilliant for exploring the local area as well as making use of the Hathersage highlights such as the lido and pubs. Thanks for another fantastic break!

Very clean, well presented and spacious house. It was well equipped had everything we needed. There were 7 adults and a child in our group and was perfect for us with 2 parking spaces. Great location in the village of Hathersage which has several nice pubs and restaurants, good access to the train and bus if needed, a swimming pool and lovely walks. The host left us freshly baked bread, cake and some milk in the fridge. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The house was perfect. Clean, well stocked, beautifully furnished and in a perfect location. The host was lovely and brought home made fresh bread and a lovely lemon drizzle cake. It was all wonderful.

The location is ideal for exploring the town - has a gym, playground, swimming pool plus lots of places to eat. The property has a large garden (brilliant with small children and dogs). It’s has access to two parking spaces which is a must in the busy town. Lovely walks from the house. Great communication- thank you for having us.

The property was perfect and met all our needs. When we arrived we were greeted with a homemade lemon drizzle cake and freshly baked bread which was an absolute treat. Hathersage has lots of amenities including plenty of places to eat. There were lots of local walks including up to stanage edge. I would recommend getting a train to Edale if you plan to walk up Kinder Scout, saves fighting for a parking space. A lovely house in a beautiful location, can’t recommend it enough.

The house was ideal for our family get together. It was a spacious property and the calm was calm and inkeeping with the property; some lovely art work.The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking for 8 people. The property was ideal for taking a dog as had a good outside space.We appreciated the cake, home-cooked bread and milk on arrive - this was a lovely touch!

This is a comfortable, spacious family home. It has loads of character and is well equipped. We enjoyed sitting outside and the garden area is great for children. It is only a short walk to shops, pubs etc. The cottage is on quite a busy road and fortunately most rooms are at the back of the house, overlooking the garden. Good contact with the owner. It is easy to find some road parking, not too far away, if you have more than 2 cars. A great base, in a lovely village, at a reasonable price for a property that sleeps 8.
