This classic Bay Head home is comfortable yet quaint, with a nautical vibe! The combination of both old and new will make your stay a comfortable but unique beach experience. A short walk to the life-guarded Johnson Ave. beach entrance on the east side of Main Avenue, the house is also walkable to the commuter train and shops/restaurants in town - Mueller's Bakery, Charlies of Bay Head, Burke's Market, Theresa's restaurant, etc.

The large living room has two distinct seating areas - one to watch the large SMART TV above the fireplace and a cozy nook for reading and relaxing.

The dining room has a large Restoration Hardware trestle table which seats 8 comfortably.

The kitchen boasts custom wood cabinetry, stone counters, large farmhouse sink, Viking range/stove and Sub Zero refrigerator. The adjacent butler's pantry has an additional farmhouse sink and two brand new Fisher Pykel drawer style dishwashers.

The enclosed side porch has a pull out queen couch, wonderful sunlight, desk and reading area - with its own SMART TV. This can be a great play area for kids or remote office/work space.

The upstairs has four bedrooms - two with twin beds and two with queen beds. There are two updated white tile bathrooms - one upstairs with tub, and one downstairs with large walk in shower.

The house has two zone central air and ceiling fans in all main rooms - including two on outdoor front porch. The private backyard has a nicely landscaped grassy area and large deck with dining table and umbrella for outdoor eating - close to the gas grill. And of course, there is a convenient outdoor shower for beach clean-ups!

All linens and towels for indoor use are included. You only need to bring your beach towels!

There is off street parking and a 2 car detached garage with driveway parking for 3 cars. Beach chairs, beach wagon, umbrella and other beach gear provided. 6 beach badges also provided during the summer season.

Best beach week ever

Our family really enjoyed everything about our week in Bay Head. The home is immaculate and comfortable and provided everything we needed for the week. It was great being just a block and a half from the beach and the beach is pristine. We are already looking forward to returning next year.

Wonderful stay in Bay Head

We enjoyed our three weeks in Bay Head. Already miss being there. Location is ideal for Bay Head. The house felt larger than what pictures show and the backyard was lovely. The house was well-appointed and we didn’t feel that we were missing anything. Check-in was seamless and Cathy was very responsive.

Great Bayheader!

The house is so comfortable and well designed/equipped. A lovely place for families. Main street is a busy road but house is quiet. Only 1 shared bathroom upstairs but a full bath downstairs and great outdoor shower. Would go back again and again.

A Perfect Stay

House was even better than the pictures-with six adults and most of us working on and off, there were so many private spaces to do it in and delightful spots as well to just read or enjoy each other. House was incredibly thoughtfully stocked, need a sewing kit, bandaids, scotch tape, all the spices you could think of? Great kitchen to cook in. Just a delightful house to stay in.

Amazing Beach Home block from beach

We have been going to the same home for 7+ years. The owner is very responsive and caring and the home is in perfect condition. This year we had perfect weather and enjoyed the location most of all walking to the beach, to town for pastries and to the beach shop! what can be better.

Beautiful Beach

We have been going to this home for many years for a week in the summer with out family to enjoy the beach. The beach is a block and half away and the most amazing bakery in the world is only a 15-20 min walk away. The house is always clean and kept up. Wedding weekend

My sister’s and my family spent a great weekend here while celebrating a friend’s wedding nearby. The house is beautiful with everything you could need. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. The house is close to Burke’s, the new gourmet market and to Bay Head’s well-known bakery, Mueller’s. The beach is around the corner. Parking was easy, even with the four cars we had. We only wish we were able to stay longer. We hope to rent this great house again.

Everything ...and I mean EVERYTHING about the house and host was EXCELLENT! Cathy is so attentive and a perfectionist. The house is just like out of a magazine! We all loved it!!! Our vacation was a 10! Thank you Cathy.The only complaint is VRBO itself. They do not tell you up front what their charges are and the vacation cost way more than I anticipated. I booked it with my American Express card and as I booked another week for another house the following week...there was no way of telling which payments were for which house. On top of that after receiving a confirmation email from VRBO the host of the second rental called me right before move in and informed me that they no longer rent out through VRBO and I didn't have a place to stay.

Perfect beach week!

Our family of 7 really enjoyed our time at this beautiful and comfortable home in Bay Head. The home was a quick walk to both the beach and town and had absolutely everything we needed. The bark yard proved to be a quiet respite from the traffic out front, but overall we loved the location. We would definitely return!

The owner was very easy to workout the details with. The house is warm and inviting. Everything is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is ready for gourmet cooking. It is located very close to the beach and a short walk to the shops.

Fantastic Experience!

Cathy was a wonderful host. We were able to check in early per our request, she answered all of our questions in a timely manner, and the home is beautiful! Located in a perfect spot, just steps from the beach and walking distance to local cafes / restaurants, we couldn't have chosen a better home to stay in for the weekend. I would come back and stay here every summer!

Great beach house

We’ve stayed at this house for the past 4 years. The property manager is great is available and accessible if need be and the owner is prompt in responding. Walking distance to beach and town- couldn’t be better! Thanks for a great week.
