Cozy, adorable, updated and fully decorated one bedroom apartment in a downtown Stamford building with garage, exercise room and 24 hours security. Equipped with everything you might need. Queen size bed in the bedroom and pullout queen size couch in the living room. Computer is connected to TV screen so you can see all your favorite shows and movies, free Wi-Fi. Come stay with us and discover Stamford through the eyes of a local talented artist, whose beautiful work is displayed.
Couple mornings a week garbage gets picked up and light sleepers can hear it. Sometimes you can smell an ethnic cooking in the hallway when you exiting an elevator but never in the apartment.

Good location

Yulka was wonderful. She accommodated all our needs. We found the location very handy for trave to NYC. There were many good restaurants in walking distance.

Learning experience

The apartment is a bit worn. We are older patrons and I would say we found the apartment small. This might be the smallest queen bed we’ve experienced and not comfortable. We found the parking place difficult to access and had to climb 2 flights to access the lobby elevators. The elevators were being repaired during our stay and not too reliable. Someone else mentioned the ethnic cooking smell, and we found it very strong and objectionable. The Air Conditioner was very noisy in both rooms. I wouldn’t recommend the laundry, pay as you go. The YouTubeTV was a nice touch and the location was good. Not our cup of tea.. We only stayed 7 nights of the 14 we rented, traveling to other places.

Very sorry to hear that Bill and his wife had some negative experience staying at Blue Nest. I'll try to comment on some of his concerns- being a host for three years it's the first time I have to do it . Apartment was renovated three years ago The size of the apartment is 427 sf and that's what I have in the description. The bed is queen size - it's a standard size and I use standard queen size sheets. One of two available elevators was repaired at the time of Bill's stay - sorry for that but it does happen and the second elevator was available Garage is located two flights down but street parking is available as well. Building laundry has all newer machines and I'm not sure why Bill didn't like it You can sense ethnic cooking smell in the hallway as I mentioned in my description but you can't sense it inside the apartment.

Yulka was so nice, place was clean and comfortable within walking distance of great restaurants and The Stamford Palace. Only 30 min to NY Botanical Gardens or Bronx Zoo. We'll use it again!

Home away from home

We juat spent two weeks at the Blue Nest visiting all our family and friends in the tri state area. Yulka was a wonderful host and her apartment provided all the "home" comforts and conveniences that one might desire to truly feel comfortable for a lengthy stay. Thank you so much!

Yulka’s place was nicely located and convenient to everything. The apartment itself was cute and comfortable. Yulka was responsive when i contacted her and very flexible in my checkout time.

Enjoyable Stay!

I totally enjoyed my stay at Yulka's beautifully decorated condo. Yulka was very responsive to my many questions, and even agreed to meet my sister to obtain the keys, etc., since there was fear my flight would be delayed. I especially loved the fact that you can easily walk into downtown Stamford.

Yulka was professional and discreet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Nest

The apartment was exactly as it appears on the site. We were very pleased. As a matter of fact, some days it was difficult for us to leave and go explore because it was so cozy and comfortable. Everything we needed was 5 minutes away. We would definitely stay at Blue Nest again. Yulka was available without being in the way. We saw her once and then when we had questions she was available via phone and returned our calls right away.

Wonderful stay at Blue Nest in Stamford

Host Yulka had everything prepared for me, Appliances in Kitchenette, ice in fridge, access information. She was available by phone or text at any time. Apartment was nice and furnished with lovely artwork. Very Convenient. The 333 CT Transit Bus stopped right in front of Apartment entrance and dropped off at the Stamford Train Station eliminating the hassle of parking when going to New York City. Was clean, comfortable and I felt very safe traveling and staying by myself. You will definitely enjoy when staying in the apartment or visiting NYC, New Haven or Upstate NY locations.Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area..

While I was never a guest at "Blue Nest" still have decided to write few words about the owner Yulka Markevich... She is my current landlord and I feel urge to share my opinion about her. I have been renting apartments in Stamford, CT since 2010. I rented my current apartment from Yulka in May 2015. First time in 6 years I have met the most understanding, professional, smart and easy going landlord. She values and respects your time. She responses your emails and replies your calls in timely manner. She urgently takes charge on any unexpected issue related to apartment.
