The Anderson Beach Condo is located in the popular "Pier Bowl" area on the 4th floor of what is known as Villa Granada. The ocean view is exceptional from this vantage point. An elevator in Villa Granada takes you to my condo on the 4th floor .
My condo features a cozy fireplace, a wide screen Smart TV, Cable, DVR for recording and an HP Printer. The Master Bedroom, with king bed, ample closets and private bath also has a Smart TV and Cable. Twin beds are in the guest room with the second bathroom across the hall. Air Conditioning as well as ceiling fans are throughout the condo. The large balcony has its own umbrella table & chairs, barbecue, and fabulous ocean view.
The kitchen is updated with granite countertops, microwave, dishwasher, double-door refrigerator and custom-built wood cabinets. There are hardwood floors throughout the condo and tile floors in the baths.
A washer and drier are in the hall closet. Sheets and towels including beach towels are provided. Remodeled bathrooms have granite counters, wood cabinets and modern shower fixtures; they are not suited for young children.
Other amenities at Villa Granada include a Heated Pool & Spa with a travertine deck. Beach chairs, umbrella, are in the covered garage cabinets, right by your assigned parking space.
San Clemente is called "The Spanish Village by the Sea!". The village has charming shops, boutiques and restaurants. a historic public library, and a Fed-Ex store. There are restaurants on and near the pier as well as a small grocery, coffee shop and ice cream parlor across the street. A beach path for walking meanders along the coast. It's a 3-minute walk to the pier and 2 short blocks to the village. Nearby are a few public golf clubs with incredible views.
If you are looking for more shopping, the San Clemente Outlet Mall is nearby. Farther away is shopping at the lovely Mission Valley Mall, A ½ to 1 hour drive north is Fashion Island in Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, world class entertainment at the Segerstrom Performing Arts Center, Verizon Amphitheater and Honda Center as well as sports at the Angel Qualcomm Stadiums.
You can explore the coast further by taking the daily Amtrak from the pier to San Diego or you can drive 20 minutes up the coast to Dana Point (restaurants, jet skiing, para sailing, fishing and more) or on up to Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Legoland, Sea World and the world famous San Diego Zoo are about an hour away. The Metrolink train stops at the pier on Saturdays and Sundays.
