About this property

Cozy cabin for 2!!

We now have Starlink internet!!!Ride your ATV from here!

We are 3 miles from the entrance to Wolf Pen Gap road and another 2 to man the main trailhead. You can ride your ATV from the property

If you only need 1 night, message me and I’ll see what I can do.

Located very near the Ouachita River and close Wolf Pen Gap, Little Coon is on a hill overlooking a little pond
Very private and peaceful. 1 queen bedroom sleeps 2

Free coffee with conventional coffee maker, full size fridge, full bathroom, a charcoal grill, 3 outdoor seating areas.

There is a window unit for air conditioning and floor heaters for winter. The house is well insulated and stays comfortable all year.
All bedding, towels, eating and cooking utensils are included. Just bring your favorite drinks, eats and treats!

Ride your ATV to Wolf Pen Gap from the property and enjoy their 40 plus miles of trails and sites. Also, ride the 1 mile to the river and float or just hang out!

Please read the listing including available amenities! I want my guests to have no surprises. Also, I’m a great host but not so good travel agent but all you need can be found online.

Note: Not responsible for accidents. NO dog-aggressive dogs allowed on the property.

Was perfect for us. Loved everything including outdoor area, sweet doggie that visited and about a 5-7 minute ride to atv trails. The only con was the coffee maker needed to be cleaned. I cleaned it so I could make some coffee.

Very quiet and restful. It would have been great to have a higher toilet. We had several centipedes in the house, but they didn't bite. Great place to relax.

So I’m glad you had a restful stay but I don’t understand the higher toilet comment? It’s a standard toilet. Sorry it’s wasn’t to your liking. As for the centipedes, it’s rained every day for a week here and they likely were looking for shelter. We are located in rural Arkansas so yes there are a few critters here in the woods.

Riding the trails

Cabin was perfectly clean and comfortable. Was able to cook steaks outside on the grill and all other meals in the fully furnished kitchen. Bed was soft and I slept like a baby. Located really close to the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails and a swimming area on the river a half mile away. Best bang for the buck!!!

Weekend Getaway

The cabin was secluded and on beautiful land. The owners have a dog that was friendly as can be, and guides you up to the cabin. The cabin was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a weekend getaway. 10/10 would stay again.

House was okay, in a secluded area, but bedroom was definitely warm during the day, but fans were provided. Unfortunately, a friend tried to visit us uninvited, while we were not there so the host apparently got upset, and has now blocked us from staying there again, because I didn’t see her message.

As stated in the house rules, no unauthorized persons are allowed on the property. This is due to liability issues not to mention since we reside on the property, I have fur babies that I’d rather not get ran over by unexpected people driving all over. Communication is key but You gave out my address to a stranger and yes he was driving all over looking for you. So, although you broke the house rule and didn’t respond to my message, I allowed you to stay. Perhaps you were embarrassed about this do you decided to leave me 2 stars? You guys were not at the cabin during the day but the AC works very well so that’s quite a reach. I’ve been hosting here 10 years and believe me, people never disappoint. 😂😂😂😂😂

Amazing place

This was an amazing cabin, located in the courner of the property. So secluded and wonderful. Lovely character. The house dog is wonderful, he comes to greet you every time you arrive home. I will most definitely come back and stay again

We love riding our SxS at Wolf Pen Gap trails and this secluded cabin is a short drive away from the North trailhead. The cabin is adorable and has all the amenities needed to enjoy a fun getaway! Thanks to the amazing hosts that make check in/out super easy and very accommodating.

Perfect getaway

Clean cute guest home! Great set up for enjoying the outdoors. We stayed during part of the heat wave and the air conditioner still kept the house comfortable. Perfect location for riding at Wolf Pen Gap! We would stay again!

Second Time Around

This was our second visit and won’t be our last. This rental is off the beaten path and in a very quiet peaceful setting. Perfect location for trail riding and the host is great.

My husband and I decided to escape to Mena Arkansas to enjoy the scenic views and country living full time. We love our animals and classic cars. Of course fishing and hiking are also on that list.

Why they chose this property

We looked at around 20 or so properties in the area before deciding on this one. This property used to be a vacation home for another family. It was so spacious and had so much potential we just had to have it. This house in on a private lane that dead ends so privacy is extreme.

What makes this property unique

We love how secluded we are here. It cannot be seen from the main road and there are 2 gates to pass through. Privacy is important to us as well as to our guests! There is no check in/out procedure for your privacy and convenience.
