Last minute special/Ocean Front/ Pool, Pool Table/pet friendly

--SEA GULL COTTAGE--is located Ocean Front at Mile post 17.5 on the Beach Road in lovely South Nags Head.

Perfect for your family or group. Sea Gull has 6 bedrooms and 3 baths and sleeps up to 18 people on three levels.

A golden sandy beach kissed by the Atlantic Ocean is just a short walk on our private wooden walkway.

On The top floor, you will find the Master bedroom with King bed and full bath. You will also be able to access the Screened in porch and Deck with steps leading to your Private Pool and short walk to the Beach.

Your fully equipped kitchen has extra amenities like a Keurig coffee maker, a Crockpot, Blender, Mixer, Seafood Steamer pot! There is all you need to keep your hungry family happy!

Just threw a passage way just off the kitchen and dining area you will come to the new game room. This is where you will find the pool table and board games.

Off the game room, is a large covered porch with furniture for outside dining as well.

The airy living room is equipped with Comfortable furnishings and a 65 inch SMART TV with DVD player and cable.
For private viewing, there are Smart TV's in each bedroom. (TV's in bedroom's do not have cable. They are only for streaming.)

Enjoy your Private Swimming Pool. It's a Great place to unwind without the Inconvenience of Sand.(Pool opens March 25 and Closes October 31)

Outside is a charcoal grill and a Fully Enclosed Shower.

There is even has a fenced in area for your furry family!

While you are here, Be Sure to Slow Down and View Our Famous Outer Banks Sunrises and Sunsets!

1. College students and anyone 27 or younger considered on a "case by case' basis. If you are under the age of 27, you must submit an inquiry first. You are not allowed to "Instant Book".
*NO Underage Renters Will Be Allowed during June, July, and August.*
2. PET FEES and other optional items are NOT INCLUDED in price, but Can be Added . See below.

Very easy access to the beach. The property and pool were clean and well kept. The kitchen was also very well stocked making preparing meals at the house very simple during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

November beach trips with pups

My husband, I, and our 2 pups stayed for a extra long weekend at the sea gull cottage and we really enjoyed our stay! We love obx and It was our pups first time at the beach and they loved it as well! Close to everything, clean and as described! Would recommend!

Our Founder, Dr. Sarah Forbes passed away in 2011. She was a compassionate physician, dedicated to her patients becoming Norfolk General’s first female chief resident of OB/GYN.
In 1958, she became the first female physician to open a private OB/GYN practice in Newport News, VA.
Dr. Forbes was the first woman to be selected to the board, and the first female president, of the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, where she was honored as a member of the “Wall of Fame” – the first and only woman to be so honored in the club’s 65-year history.

Sarah was often honored for her contributions to the organizations she served, and the community she loved.
Among her many awards were the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities’ Humanitarian Award in 2007, and the Medallion Award which is the highest recognition presented by The Boys and Girls Club of America to volunteers.

She served as president of several community organizations that include the Virginia Peninsula Academy of Medicine, the Newport News Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Newport News Medical Society, and the Peninsula Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Her generosity benefited many organizations, including the Cancer Society, the Newport News Medical Society, the Peninsula Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Family Planning Council, First Baptist Church of Newport News, the Peninsula SPCA, Mariners’ Museum, Riverside Hospital, and Christopher Newport University.

We are continuing Dr. Forbes’ Legacy
All of our vacation homes are owned by Sarah E. Forbes MD, Trust which continues her legacy by using our profits to make regular donations to the charities she loved.
We take care of the houses like she would have wanted.
