Beautiful property! The house was set up great for us. Large area downstairs to accommodate all of us for cooking and playing games. Todd was a great host and very responsive! He even helped me with a tire problem. Really liked talking to him and hearing about the history of the place. Hopefully I’ll stay again someday!
Todd built and has maintained this lovely log cabin that is immediately adjacent to a great river. My group enjoyed fishing every morning and evening and were very successful with fly rods and spinning set ups (rainbows and dolly varden). The kitchen is well stocked, beds comfortable and the whole place quite spacious. We used the BBQ, made a fire in the evenings and generally enjoyed everything about our visit. Todd was very friendly and checked that everything was OK, which we appreciated. We look forward to returning!
The property is amazing and Todd does a great job. He is very responsive and the property is amazing with great views and plenty of room. I highly recommend thproperty.
Property was exactly what we wanted and provided all that was advertised. It was close enough to town to make quick trips but far enough away to provide that true Alaska experience
This property was amazing and served our family perfectly! Todd was available to us, however we did not have any issues with the house! We had a very enjoyable time !!!
This is a great place to get away yet not to far. We seen moose in the river. One came through the yard while we sat around campfire. Seen bears up on the mountain through our binoculars. Just a really nice place.
The house was beautiful and very well stocked and maintained. The group of five had plenty of room and everything we needed for a trip of a lifetime with great friends. One of the most beautiful properties in the Seward area and the host was always available and very knowledgable of the area. Highly recommend.
I was showing my friends the pictures of this place before our trip and it’s even more impressive in person. VRBO needs to add another star to their ratings just for this one. Comfortable beds, super clean, stocked with everything you might need, wonderful host, and the view. Would gladly have stayed longer if I could.
My family of 8 and I stayed here for 3 days and it was wonderful. We had some issues and Todd was extremely responsive and helpful. He had a pack and play for our baby and fishing poles ready to go. A fabulous host and an equally fabulous house. Stay here!! You won’t regret it!
From the second we drove onto the property we were blown away by the beautiful views!!! This home had everything - including heated floors. The amenities and personal items were beautiful and added to the ambiance of this gorgeous log cabin home. The owner was extremely accommodating and promised to be available to answer questions if we needed anything. Fabulous location - we continued to talk about our wonderful stay long after we left. We would definitely stay here again!!!
Such a nice host and an amazing property!!! Todd built the cabin himself and did an incredible job of it. Felt like we were walking into the "Yellowstone" cabin. Just a short trip to Seward and the views can't be beat!!!
Everything about our stay was perfect! The house is absolutely gorgeous, the location is ideal and our family had an amazing time. We highly recommend this beautiful home (with a fantastic host)!
It is a beautiful home with a well kept lawn and fire pit with several chairs next to a lovely flowing river. The kitchen is well supplied and beds are comfortable - including the rollaway and daybeds. The host is friendly and readily available. We did a lot of activities away from the home but enjoyed all our time spent there.
This is an excellent rental for families. The open floor plan works for family meals. The owner is very helpful in providing what you request or need. The setting is beautiful.
We really loved our stay! The home was clean and spacious for our group of nine. The kitchen was well stocked, the location was excellent, and we just really appreciated Todd opening up his beautiful home to us.
We very much enjoyed our time at this cabin! Our family of 7 had plenty of space for all our stuff. The outside space is lovely and has a great view. Todd was very easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again if we were ever in the area.
We loved the river house and spent every evening in the backyard enjoying the view. Our boys fished (and caught) in the river everyday with the poles that Todd, the owner, had provided. We had a campfire every evening and were very appreciative of the firewood that was provided for us to use. The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had plenty for us to cook our own meals. The home is right on the highway so there was some road noise during the night. The train tracks go right along side the same road so we heard the train occasionally as well. The master bedroom had a tall ceiling with uncovered dormer windows which was problematic with the never-ending daylight. Despite these things, we would definitely recommend this home to others and stay here again. Todd was a great host!
House was perfect for our family of 9. Plenty of space of bedrooms and bathrooms. Location was great. Plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, pans, etc. Pool table could use a little tlc and in a tight space. A little road noise from traffic when outside, but didn’t bother us. Outdoors seating and fire pit was great for relaxing with a fire, few drinks, evening book reading. Caught a few fish in river next to house. Todd was great host to work with. Definitely recommend and would return.
