Comfortably accommodating 2 – 4 people with open plan kitchen/diner/lounge area with wood burning stove for the cooler nights, with first basket of logs included. A delightful gated enclosed patio area provides a wonderful sun trap. In keeping with our established Dairy Cottage we have equipped to the same high standard encompassing charm and comfort. An ideal retreat in the countryside with easy access to forest walks, beautiful beaches and quaint local towns and villages. We offer 3 night min breaks. Layout
From the enclosed patio/courtyard area a large sliding patio door leads you into a light and airy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Solid oak flooring with oak beams framing the doors and kitchen area along with a wood burning stove add to the rustic feel. Television with built in dvd is provided. A modern kitchen offers full size gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine.
Leading from this room are 2 double bedrooms with beautiful king size beds with luxury bedding and ensuite wet rooms. Both bedrooms have tv with built in dvd. All quality linen and towels are provided.
The view from the kitchen window encompasses our well kept grass area and a generous patio area offers privacy with enclosed fence.

From the cottage you can cycle or walk a short distance into the forestry tracks. We have plenty of storage for your bikes. If you wish to bring your boat to take to the coast then we can store this securely for you. Pets are very welcome providing they do not go into the bedroom or on the furniture at a charge of £10.00 per stay.

At the bottom of the road we have the local shop/post office and village pub.

Situated on the edge of the New Forest, located on the boundary of Dorset and Hampshire, close to the River Avon. Ideally situated to explore Ringwood Forest, on our doorstep, and a short drive can take you to the New Forest National Park famous for its free roaming ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs in the autumn,, Moors Valley Country Park, the local quaint town of Fordingbridge, delightful Wimborne Minster or the local market town of Ringwood. All offering excellent pubs/restaurants and coffee houses. Bournemouth coast’s spectacular beaches are an easy 25 minute drive, the Jurassic coast within easy reach and the ancient city of Salisbury with its beautiful cathedral is well worth a visit.
