Lake Yurt is a traditional Mongolian yurt on the banks of a little lake and surrounded by woodland, with its own fully equipped rustic kitchen and dining area, a firepit, compost toilet and wood fired shower. Enjoy total privacy in an idyllic and magical setting on Dartmoor. Lake Yurt has a double bed, double futon and single futon, a woodburner to keep you warm and cosy and is beautifully decorated with rugs and lanterns.

Fantastic

Staying at this property was an adventure in itself. If you are looking to step back from the hustle and bustle of modern life this will be perfect for you. Our children (7,8 & 12) spent the days running around the private woodland, paddling on the boat, toasting marshmallows on the fire and laughing. Whilst the property has no electric you can charge devices and retrieve ice packs from the barn. If you want to explore locally you are spoilt for choice! We will be returning.
