Very nice cottage with parking at rear. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Very Good wifi. Excellent location for visting local area. The Church Inn is close and serves good food. Local shop selling pretty mush everythi g is a bo us.
Russet Cottage is a lovely property in a very picturesque Devon village just a short drive from the coast. It is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped.
Perfect cottage for us. Everything we needed, and plenty of space.
And it’s a great base for exploring South Devon.
A good pub almost literally on the doorstep is a huge bonus!
The teabags and biscuits were much appreciated
Ideal. We’d like to think we’ll go back some day

A perfect cottage in a great location
The cottage is very picturesque in the middle of the village and has surprisingly spacious accommodation. It is extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean.
The local pub is less than a two minute walk away and very friendly - my 11 year daughter and I particularly enjoyed music night. The village shop is remarkably well stocked by the dedicated team of volunteers and the prices are incredibly reasonable.
Stokeinteignhead nestles in the middle of beautiful countryside and yet it is only a 10 minute drive to the nearest dual carriageway, supermarkets and railway station.
It was our home from home for our brief stay - thank you.

cosy cottage in lovely village
We very much enjoyed our weekend break at Russett cottage, which was warm, comfortable, well equipped and convenient for visiting our son in Exeter. The convenience of the village shop, which was literally 20 seconds walk from the front door was great, as was the nearby pub. I wish we'd had more time to explore the area, but really liked what we did see of it.

Just Perfect for Us
We had a lovely stay in this well appointed cottage. We felt at home immediately and we would stay here again. The sun shines into the lounge making it lovely to sit in and read on cooler days. On hot days you'd be in the courtyard. There are steps into the courtyard which small children would have to be accompanied on. Conveniently situated for many interesting places in South Devon.

About the host
Hosted by Annie Davey
We have recently bought this thatched cottage in Devon which we are offering to guests as well as enjoying ourselves. Stokeinteignhead is a very attractive 'chocolate box' village close to the sea and to the Teign river estuary and consequently enjoys the best of both worlds. It is also 30 minutes drive from Dartmoor. It suits us very well as we are keen walkers and cyclists and we enjoy good food, beer and wine and and are happy to advise on the best places to go. We have 2 children and now 4 grand daughters and we love organising holidays with friends and family.
What makes this property unique
We love the traditional style of the cottage but we appreciate the modern facilities of plenty bathrooms and fully fitted kitchen. The lounge and kitchen have french windows which open onto a small courtyard at the rear which enjoys the sun most of the day - perfect for al fresco dining. You can take a 2 minute walk to the well stocked community shop or stroll to the local thatched pub which serves excellent food and real ales. There is off road parking for 1 vehicle and free wifi available
