You will love this beach cottage with large private yard in the quaint south end of the island- walk/bike to the restaurants, shops, mini-golf, pier, boat ramp, and roller skating. GREAT location close to the beach access and walk to the public sound access for kayak launch. This old school cottage has two levels with a total of 5 bedrooms, 3 baths and includes a downstairs apartment.
The apartment is the perfect for a space for the teenagers, two families, or groups that need a separate living space to get away. And bring the pup! This home is pet friendly with approved pets and pet fee. Located in Topsail Beach this charming beach home sleeps 10. The upper cottage has 3 BR/2 BA, a nice gathering room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Front and back decks for enjoying ocean breezes. The ground-floor apartment has 2 additional bedrooms, one bath, living area, a 2nd full kitchen, and a back patio. The garage space has a washer and dryer and is the perfect space to store your beach equipment or bikes. Plenty of parking in the circular driveway and room for boat parking if you bring the boat- marina is 7 blocks south of the home. This cozy home is the perfect cottage for those who want to vacation together, but also want to have their own space.

Easy access to beach, plenty of room and nice living spaces. Site had all you need except the linens, which it mentioned to bring. They were very easy to work with.

Great weekend getaway

Location is great. Beds and all furniture are very comfortable. Kitchen is dated and bathrooms are small, but all needs are met at this house.

great family vacation

We had a great time while there at Topsail Beach. The house was perfect for our family and even tho our mothers and grandma didn't care for the steps, it all worked out. Communication was great and would consider staying again in the future.

Perfect for a family vacation

The agents were extremely nice and even called personally prior to our trip to make suggestions and provide information on the rental as well as the surrounding area. The house and property were both clean and the kitchens well stocked with anything you needed for cooking. The house is a great location to the beach access. We enjoyed the large variety of games onsite during the typical daily summer storms. Overall a great spot.

The size of the property met are needs and the location was perfect however the condition of the property was sub par. The bottom level had a rusted air conditioner that was full of mold. The furniture was dirty and moldy. The bottom level smelled like mildew. The top level of the house was much nicer however the furniture was very dirty and we had to put blankets over all it. The washer and dryer was rusted and our laundry smelled after using it. The company responded immediately and cleaned the air conditioner so the lower level could be used but my question is how the house could be rented out in that condition to begin with. Being next to he ocean is no excuse for the mold and rust. My family rented another home near by hat didn’t have any of those problems. The higher rating is strictly for the size and space of the home and location.

Property was just okay

I was a bit suprised at the lack of cleanliness of the house. Could not even tell if anyone actually cleans the house. In the house rules, it says that there should be no dishes left in the dishwasher, but it was full (of clean dishes) upon our arrival which we had to put away to use it. The keypads for the doors didnt work great so it took a while to get into the house.

Beach House Dog Friendly

In general, the house was perfect for our family and is very dog friendly. The part that was disappointing is we had to wash every single dish before we used them and bring our own linens plus paper products. I would think for that price, this would be easier. After a trip from the triangle with two young kids and many family members, having zero toilet paper in the bathrooms the moment one walks in, as well as making 7 beds with the sheets that filled up our car for the beginning of a vacation is NOT a vacation! We have rented many homes at Wrightsville Beach and Topsail Beach over the years and NEVER had this stress. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay though. Oh, and a 10 am checkout with such a list of to dos, is not fun. 11 am is wiser. I understand washing all dishes, but to put all away too? When you are clearing 9 people out by 10 am, this is too much.

Worst rental ever

This is the worst vbro we have ever stayed in. First the app never updated the check in info. I emailed the rental company and she said she would send it to me, because I was paid in full. I had to be paid in full over a month in advance, so I don’t quite understand why she would say such a thing . Second we show up and notice the toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom looks like it had been wet. Good thing I brought extras! The rental did not provide any linens, but provided pillows and blankets. We ended up heading to Walmart, to buy new pillows, because the ones provided were stained and yellow. Maybe if linens had been provided, we would have been none the wiser, but seeing gross pillows was too much for us! We left the pillows we purchased, so hopefully the next renter won’t be so grossed out! Later that evening, a cockroach ran across the kitchen floor. Then when we went to take a shower downstairs, the shower sprayed out over the shower curtain spraying the toilet, thus explaining the wet, then dried toilet paper. I emailed the rental company that night. In the morning I emailed them again, because more cockroaches made their appearance. The soonest the rental company could get pest control out was three days later. The shower never got fixed. What’s so frustrating is that the upstairs is only accessible from the outside. So basically when we needed to shower we got to go outside and then go upstairs, kind of like when you are camping...fun, eh? Despite the pest control company finally coming, we continue to kill cockroaches throughout our entire week stay. When asked for another accommodation, the request was ignored. The rental company has yet to offer any sort of refund for the inconvenience of having to shower upstairs or for our pest control assistance in killing the cockroach infestation. We literally killed all sorts of bugs, but mostly cockroaches all the way to checkout Save your money and don’t rent this beach house or any others from Myers Rentals.

The dirtiest/ worst vacation house ever

Where to even begin. We booked our end of July trip at the beginning of July, so I guess beggars can’t be choosers. But, this house was in such a poor state, we would’ve been better staying at a cheap motel. Upon arriving, the exterior of the house wasn’t terrible looking. We had some trouble with the door codes but the realty company was quick to remedy it. The top deck has loose boards and there were a lot of nails sticking up. Luckily there was a hammer and we got as many nails back in as we could. Top floor: living room was small with a lot of large pieces of furniture jammed in. The dining room table and the living room counters looked like they hadn’t been wiped since the previous renters left. The kitchen might be well stocked, but it’s so disorganized that you’d never know. We tried to put like thinks in cabinets together after using them, but everything was placed so randomly that you never know where stuff truly should belong. The hose on the sink is busted, fridge door handle is broken off and the cooktop has definitely seen better days. The dishwasher shoots crud all over the dishes and they come out dirtier than they go in. Bedroom sizes are adequate, beds comfy enough and there were plenty of pillows. The bathrooms are a joke. The sinks are pedestal sinks and there is absolutely no storage in the bathrooms, other than the mirror storage.. but they’re filled with old junk from past renters- including an open jar of suppositories, dead bugs, and a nasty toothbrush. The toilet in the hall bath is so close to the tub that you either have to have your shins against or in the tub. The master bathroom is tiny and even my skinny 11 year old kid complained about how small the shower was and how she kept bumping her elbows on the walls. After just a few hours in the house, the bottoms of all of our feet were black with dirt. We had to mop our floors on day one of vacation, after a 10 hour drive. Now for the downstairs half. There is no central air and the 3 1970s window units could not keep up with the heat. The downstairs was moist and smelled awful the entire week. The downstairs bathroom was a joke and the shower was even smaller than the upstairs one. We chose to shower in the outside shower rather than cram into the downstairs one. We avoided the downstairs as much as possible. The house gave us a dry place to sleep at night but we definitely do not recommend it to anyone.

Family Beach Vacation

My family and I just returned from a wonderful vacation at Topsail! The house was perfect for our family of 9 - plenty of space, two well-equipped kitchens, private lot, very short walk to beach, and, with no condos in the area, a very family-friendly, uncrowded, spacious beach. Two things to bear in mind about the house: the bathrooms are very small, and there are no interior stairs meaning you have to go outside to go between the upstairs and downstairs. We found these to be minor inconveniences! This is a great house and beach for young children. The extra den space gives kids their own space to play, and the surf at Topsail was perfect for new ocean swimmers. It never go too rough to play with our 1-year old grand daughter right at the water's edge, but this is NOT a guarded beach. All in all, this was a great place!!

Great location, description accurate, overall good place to stay

Overall we were very pleased with the property, it is right across the beach with an access point. The two apartments were perfect for our group of 10, which allowed for some away time and not feeling cramped. The backyard is large and perfect for outdoor games, there is an outdoor shower for after the beach and grill for outdoor cooking. My only one complaint would be that the shower downstairs really needs some updating. Overall we loved the place and would definitely rent again!

Great place!

We rented out the entire place. Just know they are 2 separate apartments. It’s a perfect location. Really close to the beach access. Great stay and will definitely come back next year. We had a wonderful time.

1st time in Topsail!

This was a first time visiting and staying in Topsail and our location was fantastic! It was just 1 block off the beach and away from traffic. The only reason I did not give a 100% rating is that the property itself needed some TLC on the outside - basis hedge trimming and a fresh coat of paint. The inside of the house was pretty clean for the most part. Overall, it's a great property and would stay again.

Cute cottage

We liked how near the beach access, 1/2 a block away, walking distance for shops, park and safe nieghborhood. Grateful to have boogie boards from the house, outdoor shower, large backyard and fully equipped kitchen. The shower head downstairs is full of lime and spray all around the stall, size of that shower is pretty tight upstairs master b/r and downstairs..but strong shower pressure. Both kitchen supplies need to be organized, I think the cleaners put away dishes wet in cabinets, and cutlery downstairs was rusty. Thank you for sharing your home, God Bless.

We we’re here for a week celebrating our anniversary. The cottage was PERFECT! We could watch the sunrise at the beach across the street and the stunning sunsets a block away at the ICW. Everything was wonderful!!

Great location!

Great location, 0.7 miles walk to downtown Topsail Beach and easy beach access across the street. The circular driveway was perfect for pulling a boat (with town boat ramp nearby). Plenty of parking too. The downstairs shower & bathroom is a tight squeeze.

Fun 4th at the Seafoam

We had a fun and fabulous family vacation at the Seafoam ! The house had everything we needed plus beach chairs, beach umbrella, and boogie boards! Easy, close beach access. Close to town. Quiet neighborhood with an early morning mocking bird and cat bird wake up alarm. We were so pleased. Hope to return soon !
