This is a quiet location away from the town center but within a 20-30 minute walk to shopping & restaurants near the main area. Clean & perfect for our stay!

Authentic Portuguese close to everything

Clean, spacious and located within walking distance to all the sights. Lots of local coffee shops, a super market and restaurants.Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen if you wanted to eat in. We had a great stay.

Lovely place and responsive hosts

This was a cozy and comfortable place to stay in a neighborhood that was easily accessible to the things we wanted to experience in Sintra. The hosts are lovely, and provided very helpful information.

Nice big apartment with an excellent kitchen. Easy parking right beside entry. Large unit Great stay in Sintra. We just parked car and used Uber..supe relaxing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ilidias home in Sintra. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of restaurants, groceries and the train. The home was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were greeted with DELICIOUS pastries from a nearby bakery. On another day Ilidia left us some delicious fruits from the nearby trees.The book of suggestions for nearby places to visit and restaurants proved valuable to us. We especially enjoyed our occasional visits from Scott. We highly recommend this lovely home.Thank you Ilidia.

Sintra Rental

Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom rental with close parking and really everything you would need. The baked goods on arrival were fantastic. A bit of a walk to the historic area but the price reflects this.

Very homey

This felt like home with plenty of space and it is well stocked with extras. They were very accommodating and we were fortunate that we could stay an extra night due to a mistake we made with our next booking.

Kitchen was equipped well. There was even a coffee pot which was good because pingo doce supermarket didn’t carry right type of pods for espresso machine. We didn’t bring any pets. We did have trouble getting key to work in gate at times. Overall we had a good stay and appreciated the notebook full of recommendations with photos.

Great stay!

We stayed in this larger 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment for a week and enjoyed our stay! We appreciated the yummy baked goods that they provided when we arrived. They had a nice notebook with info about the attractions in the area and recommended restaurants in the area and Alexandra gave us more helpful tips (she speaks English ). Apartment was spacious and kitchen was quite well equipped . Was about an 11 minute walk to the bigger grocery store in town (pingo dice).

Nice property

Comfortable apartment close to town center. Our GPS did not take us to the correct address so check in was a little tricky. It would have been helpful to have a little more details about the appliances etc-the stove was quite tricky and the washing machine wasn’t working but we were not told so wasted time with both things trying to work them out! But the place itself was lovely, hosts were very nice and the outside area much appreciated!

Logement sombre et équipement daté. la deuxième chambre est petite et aveugle (pas de fenêtre) On doit utiliser la lumière en permanence dans la cuisine car sombre également. La hotte ne fonctionne pas et le detecteur de fumée se déclenche dès que l'on veut cuisiner. Nous sommes déçus.

Grand appartement, très bien équipé. Hôte généreux et gentil. On peut visiter Sintra à pied, pas besoin d’automobile.

Guter Ort zum Entdecken von Sintra

Wir haben die Wohnung gebucht um Sintra zu entdecken und warten sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht. Die Küche war vollständig ausgestattet, es fehlte uns an nichts. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben auch gleich ein paar gute Tipps für den Aufenthalt bekommen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und auch sehr ruhig. Wenn man die Straße ein paar Meter hochgeht, kann man den Palacio da Pena sehen. Die historische Altstadt von Sintra kann man zu Fuß erreichen. Wir sind aber meist ein paar Meter zum Parkplatz gefahren und sind von dort gestartet. Den Palacio da Pena haben wir von Sao Pedro zu Fuß erkundet. Das geht aber auch ohne weiteres direkt von der Wohnung. Grundsätzlich wäre es eine sehr gute Idee ein paar Tage in Sintra zu verbringen, um die Parks und Paläste zu besuchen.

Get Comfortable in Sintra

This apartment is comfortable, and private. No problems with WiFi. We had some plumbing issues with a broken bathtub drain, but the other bathroom had a shower so we did ok. I was a bit challenged by no oven. Our lovely hostess brought us some of the wonderful pastries of Sintra-these are not to be missed!

Quiet place near the train station to visit Lisbon.

The apartment was really clean and this is a quiet apartment. Ilidia and Alexandra were really nice. Near the train station to visit Lisbon and Sintra.

Maison bien placée pour les visites sur SINTRA. Maison un peu dans le noire avec une chambre sans fenêtre. Logement pour 3 personnes et non 4 , car il y a une chauffeuse qui sert de lit et donc non confortable pour un adulte.

2 chambres dont une sans fenêtre il y a donc tromperie car dans l'annonce ce n'est pas précisé...

Sur les 2 chambres ; Dans une des 2 , il y a 2 lits séparés, genre lit de camp avec 30 cms de chaque côté pour circuler autour des lits ! Elle n'a pas de fenêtre ni sa salle de bain. Il y a donc tromperie et Abritel est, pour nous, complice ! Les propriétaires qui habitent au dessus font du bruit dès 7 h le matin, sans se soucier des locataires du dessous ! Nous ne passerons plus par Abritel .

Warm, Welcoming, and Well Stocked

Location is within walking distance of the Centro Historico and the Castelo Mouro. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the private garden patio wonderful for enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of wine outside. Most wonderful were our hosts Ilidia and Alexandra. We took their recommendations and were not disappointed! We had a car otherwise this would be a long walk from the train station with bags - just to note this for anyone coming by train with heavier suitcases.

Die Lage ist perfekt, man ist sehr zentral. Die Wohnung ist sauber aber alt, es gibt nur einen Mini Fernseher. Was wirklich sehr gestört hat, war der Lärm der Mitbewohner. Von 20 Uhr bis mindestens 24 Uhr waren die sehr laut. Teilweise hat nachts der Hund heftig gebellt.

Convenient Location

Situated 4 blocks from the railroad station, it was easy access to the commuter trains to Lisbon. Groceries were nearby. And the sites of Sintra....unbelievable. The accommodations were good for 3 people, with a double bed bedroom with a huge amount of clothing storage capacity. In another single bed bedroom there is convertible chair bed, which we used, making this bedroom rather tight. The hosts were given no warning that we would be 4 adults, but did pleasantly accept the situation. The kitchen is the pride and joy of this dwelling.. Well stocked and great layout.
