Fantastic Modern "Green" Home In Downtown Bozeman.
Reg. #STR23-00029
Completely custom modern "green" home, architecturally designed with elegant fixtures and finishes. Multiple architectural award winner. OUTSTANDING LOCATION: 2 blocks from Beall Park, which I think is Bozeman's best neighborhood. Walk or ride not only to DOWNTOWN (shops, bars, restaurants, grocery) but also to the NE NEIGHBORHOOD (amazing bakery, great new coffee shop, brewery), the fairgrounds (farmers market) or the CANNERY DISTRICT (wood-fired pizza, speakeasy-style bar, distillery, kombucha bar, more), and MIDTOWN (ice cream, food truck courts, pho, cafe, Elm music venue). The absolute best of in-town living in Bozeman. MAIN LIVING: on the 2nd floor -- lets you live downtown but still above the street and neighboring houses. Mountain views, especially during winter, when the leaves are off the deciduous trees. KITCHEN: open to the dining and living areas; extra large gas cooktop; custom spice rack. MASTER: bedroom - king bed; 2 small closets. Master bath -- 2 shower heads with separate controls and custom glass tile; toilet in area separated by pocket door. 2ND BEDROOM -- on the ground floor with a king bed; bathroom adjacent with luxurious shower and custom everything. SLEEPING LOFT: accessed via a pivoting staircase (national award-winning small project!); double bed, twin bed, upholstered chair, and dresser. A very cozy space. 3 BALCONIES: off the kitchen, south-facing, and with a propane grill; off the living room, north-facing; and off the master bedroom, south-facing. BONUS for CYCLISTS or SKIERS: I'm a cyclist (road, gravel & mountain biking) and a skier (most often Nordic but also alpine and backcountry). I have lots of info for your cycling or skiing adventures and work stands and tools that you could use.

This was our third time to stay at Jason’s place. It was great to spend Christmas here. Jason is great and the house and location is great. We will always try to stay at this place whenever we are in Bozeman.
The house was very clean, cozy, spacious, and so close to everything in Bozeman. Great location and the decor and architecture was very cool! Highly recommend.
Fully stocked and easy use kitchen. comfortable beds, bedrooms and living area. finely decorated and felt "homey" without feeling like I was dropped into someone's personal life/space. the location is easy to find, get around from and close to a lot of what Bozeman offers. I would stay again!

This was one of the most well stocked VRBO’s that we have ever stayed in. Jason, the host, was very responsive and helpful! Though we decided not to take our dog after all, it is pet friendly complete with an enclosed yard area, dog bowls and rags for feet and paws at the doors. Also the location is great for walking to town!
The property had a nice private parking space out back, all the amenities were good. A bit further from Main St. for walking, but doable if needed. Check out was seamless.
The host and the property were great, exceeded expectations.Host’s communication was excellent. House was modern, unique, super comfortable, extremely well stocked, in a great location. Our family of six and two dogs stayed three nights over Thanksgiving. House accommodated all of us comfortably. Kitchen was well equipped to easily cook a full traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Would definitely stay again.
Amazing location. Great for family and pets. Owner lives across street and is very attentive and accommodating.Highly recommended if looking for convenient, safe, clean and fantastic home.
I traveled to Bozeman with a group of friends after a wedding, and this was a great place to be. The location was walkable to a lot of great places, and the house was spacious enough for a large group. Communication with Jason was quick and easy, and he did everything he could to ensure we could check in and out at our convenience.
Jason's place was spotless, beautiful, practical, in a perfect location, and his communication was both quick and generous. Our family agreed that we would love to live in the house full time if we could!
Had a lovely stay. Great location. 10 min walk to Main St, and 10 min walk to local Rodeo:)Kitchen clean and had the essential cookware and spices. The house accommodated us well. Has a fascinating retractable staircase…an architectural marvel and easy to use. Our host was responsive to questions before and during our stay. Would stay there again if we return to Bozeman.
We were in Bozeman for our son's graduation. The property was perfect for our family and the location was ideal to be able to walk to main street. House was clean and well appointed.
Great house for skiing at Bridger Bowl & centrally located for exploring Bozeman. Jason was very responsive & easy to work with. We had a fantastic time & definitely would recommend a stay at this house.
Real nice layout of house, the five of us were quite comfortable, about a 10 minute walk to Main St. Host was quickly accessible if needed and accommodated our somewhat early arrival. Thanks for a very relaxed stay!
Great property for our Thanksgiving holiday. Fully stocked kitchen and relaxing home. Communication with Jason was easy !

About the host
Hosted by Jason
I moved to Bozeman in 2001 just by good luck. I absolutely love Montana, Bozeman, Downtown Bozeman, and all the opportunities for outdoor adventure that abound here. Great people, too. No wonder -- so many of us moved here for the great quality of life, and we're happy!
Why they chose this property
The good fortune continued and resulted in the Apple Treehouse being built in 2007 on a new lot that was created from the side yard of the house that I bought when I moved here.
Possibly the very best location in all of Bozeman, a 6-7 block walk from DOWNTOWN, the NE NEIGHBORHOOD, the CANNERY DISTRICT, and MIDTOWN. Also between two parks.
The Apple Treehouse was the first of my smart infill projects and is "green" in many respects (an infill project, small lot, small footprint, well insulated, solar hot water, solar electricity, green materials used throughout). Across the alley from the Apple Treehouse, I bought my neighbor's place in 2013 and have created two new small lots for quality infill, as well as fully restoring the historic brick house that was on it. The restoration project received a Historic Preservation Award from the City of Bozeman. Apple Treehouse version 2.0 was built across the alley in 2017 and is my current house.
What makes this property unique
Walk or ride Downtown!
ALSO walk or ride to the NE neighborhood, Fairgrounds/Cannery District, and Midtown! You will absolutely love Treeline Coffee and Wild Crumb Bakery. Enjoy craft beers at the Bozeman Brewing Company and Mountains Walking Brewery (and wood-fired pizza). Cannery District: Pizza Campania (also wood-fired), Wildrye Distilling, and Devil's Toboggan (speakeasy-style bar).
Enjoy mountain views from a house that is right Downtown! Enjoy the sunshine that comes into a house with 2nd-floor main living. Feel good about staying in a house that heats its own hot water and produces its own electricity.
