Our lovely home has been described as "Country living in the city" and, as such, the location cannot be beat. Our quiet street provides a nice setting for relaxation and splendid views of the surrounding area. We are an easy walk or drive to MSU (1 mile) or downtown (1/2 mile to Main St.).
You’ll love this home because of the ambiance, views, the neighborhood, the light, and the comfy beds. The furniture and beds are all new. The house water comes from our own well providing fresh, crystal clear water.
The house, built in 1960, is fully furnished with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is one queen bed in each bedroom; in addition, the fourth bedroom also has one twin. Lots of closet space. Open space "great room" (living, dining, kitchen) and a recreation/TV room. Fully equipped kitchen; high-speed Wi-Fi and cable TV. Garage is available for one vehicle (note: height limit of 6'2").
A former guest had this to say: This beautiful home is in a superb location. We walked the half mile to the Montana State University campus and the half (plus) mile to Main Street. The home is tastefully appointed. It is open concept with 3 bedrooms off the upper main living room and kitchen. A fourth bedroom downstairs is next to a large den / TV room. The kitchen and living room look out over a meadow onto the spectacular Gallatin Mountains. Wow! You really feel as if you are in the country.
We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in.
There is a small apartment behind the house, just above the garage, that may or may not be occupied. Please respect the area past the garage as private. We ask the same of the apartment occupants. Therefore, we ask that the garage is only to be used for vehicle or gear storage, i.e., no partying or other noise in the garage.
Plenty of outdoor venues for both alpine and cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, swimming, horse back riding.
Downhill skiing - easy accessibility to Bridger Bowl and Big Sky. Cross country skiing is available in town (many nearby trails) and the revitalized Crosscut Mountain Sports Center up Bridger Canyon.
There are some great biking trails in town, easily accessible from the house. No need to load the bikes up and drive anywhere!
Yellowstone National Park is 1 1/2 hours to either the Gardiner entrance or West Yellowstone.
Anglers? This is the perfect getaway with access to the Gallatin River, the Madison River, the Yellowstone River, the Missouri and Jefferson Rivers and many spring creeks, streams and alpine lakes.
Numerous Hot Springs including Bozeman Hot Springs, Norris Hot Springs, Chico Hot Springs and the Boiling River located in Yellowstone.
Downtown Bozeman is a lovely walk, if you choose. There is a variety of restaurants and bars along with art galleries and shopping for all. Montana State University and the Emerson Cultural Center are among others for special events and ongoing concerts.
Enjoy your stay!

This location was absolutely perfect! It was close to town but in a quiet neighborhood - it was an ideal spot to return to after several outdoor activities we did in the region. The hosts were fabulous and very communicative. For our family of seven the house was spacious and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again - thank you for a terrific experience!

So glad you enjoyed your stay! We are always happy when our guests are pleased with the house and the surroundings :)
Really enjoyed our time here, conveniently located outside downtown Bozeman. Loved the access to the trails and the green spaces. Plenty of room for our family to spread out in upstairs living room/kitchen and deck! Super easy check in and out.
The house and neighborhood were terrific. We were close to everything while enjoying a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed for a great stay.
The house was absolutely perfect! So close to downtown but without the downtown feel. The nights were extremely quiet and the wildlife was beautiful! We will be staying here again for sure the next time we are out in the Bozeman area!
Very good location for driving to where we needed to be. Was nice to be in a quiet location. Accommodations and amenities fulfilled all needs. Enough room for all to sit around and relax either inside or on deck.
Thank you!

This propert was perfect for a group of 8. The large open kitchen/living allowed us all to gather in one area. It was close to downtown and a short drive to Bridger Bowl Ski.
We are a family of 5 and we loved this property! Location to town was perfect, location to Bridger Bowl and Big Sky was easy. Very well accommodated home! All needs were met along with an extremely clean, well organized, and thoughtful amenities. We look forward to coming back!

The house was clean and well cared for. The kitchen had everything we wanted. The beds were very comfortable. Wonderful views of the mountains and deer. It was less than a 10 minute drive to downtown or to the MSU campus
This house was fabulous!! It is in a nice and quiet part of Bozeman but minutes from downtown, MSU and Bozeman trail. Plenty of outside chairs to enjoy the beautiful views of Bozeman and watch the deer walk by. Kitchen is loaded with everything you need. Beds were super comfortable.

So glad you enjoyed your stay, Kevin. We're always pleased when our guests have a good time here! See you next time!
This was our 2nd stay. Both times we appreciated the Great Room kitchen/living space for gathering, as well as the basement TV room. The location is very convenient for both downtown and MSU campus. Would have been a 5 star if the dishwasher and gas stove had worked reliably.
This home is immaculate with excellent space for family gatherings. Just a short drive from downtown Boseman. Our only regret was that we were so busy we didn't have as much time as we would have liked to enjoy the property! Thank you for a great space.

Thanks for the lovely review, Megan. We're always glad when guests enjoy the house!
Gary and Sheryl have a wonderful home in a quiet neighborhood, with easy parking, close to downtown and lots of great amenities --- felt like home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the check in process was very efficient, and the place is spacious so we were all able to relax after our daily bike rides. The kitchen is well stocked, and there is plenty of outside space to relax and enjoy. We will definitely be back.

About the host
Hosted by Gary and Sheryl Huckabone
We moved to this house in 1997 and raised our children here. Now that they've grown and are on their own, we want to share this special home with visitors to the area.
Why they chose this property
This property really does have a "country feel" to it while being right in the middle of Bozeman. The location just can't be beat.
What makes this property unique
The walking trails around the city are accessible right out the front door. If you want to sit on a quiet deck and watch the birds, you're there. If you choose to walk or bike downtown, you're in the right spot. The "Gallagator Trail" aka the "Linear Trail" is readily accessible (1/8 mile) as well as Peet's Hill and Burke Park.
The house has been completely refurbished with all new furniture and kitchen appliances.
