We loved our stay in Alex's charming and historic property. The location and the views from the unit could not have been better. The unit worked very well for two couples with large comfortable rooms. Porto was wonderful and Alex's place added to our enjoyment of the city.

One of the best - perhaps the best - properties I have stayed in. Spotlessly clean, spacious, extremely comfortable beds, a very well-equipped kitchen, beautiful views from the large living room, and helpful and accommodating hosts. If I return to Porto for a future visit, I hope it will be available.

Property was a great location with lots of room. Very clean and perfect for our visit. Porto has a lot of hills and getting to this property is a bit of a walk as Uber's can't get to the front door, then you have a few flight to carry your luggage up. If you can walk the hills and stairs of Porto, you can walk to this property. Enjoy!

Very nice, clean and spacious rental. The view of the Dom Luís I Bridge, the Douro River and Gaia is amazing. Both during the day as well as nighttime. The rental is in a nice location and close to many cathedrals, museums, etc., although you do have to walk a short distance if you want a taxi or Uber. Porto is Extremely hilly, so be very prepared for that. We were surprised as to how hilly it was. You definitely get your exercise. Also, there are several steps going up to the rental, so if any issues with stairs, it could be difficult. We definitely would rent this place again, however, not during the summer or hot months. That is the only issue as there is no air conditioning. We were fine since we were there at the end of September, however, could be a problem when hot. Overall, thumbs up on this place.

Family Vacation in Porto

Our stay at the Manor House was lovely! Its historic charm but updated amenities were a great combination. The views of the river and the location were particularly enjoyable. Check in and out was easy and the hosts are responsive.

Huge! Amazing view!! Great location!!! We were a family of 5 and this was perfect, it was better than we were hoping and better than the description. It allowed us a great opportunity to explore Porto. Highlights included the great living room, the clean and large bathrooms, the well equipped kitchen, and the extra large bedrooms. We loved having the windows open and watching and listening to the bridge and city and letting the breeze come in. Would absolutely stay again next time in Porto.

Great stay in Porto

Our family of 4 had a terrific time at this property in Porto! The flat was large, clean, in an amazing location with a fantastic view of the river and bridge. The communication with the owner was great before and during the stay. We would definitely want to stay at this property if we return to Porto!

The apartment was perfect for our group and the view from the livingroom of the bridge was spectacular. Had a small issue with the fireplace that was quickly resolved and it was an overall lovely experience. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, water was hot and the washing ng machine was much appreciated after 13 days of travel! Only note to future travels...no lift and several flights of narrow stairs if that's an issue.
