About this property

Best View and Location on Dale Hallow Lake! Very Private and Beautiful.

Stunning views at the most convenient location on Dale Hallow. The house is directly across the lake from Sunset Marina. The Marina offers a boat ramp and slips and full restaurant, Bar and Ice Cream Shop. The Marina also offers ski boat, pontoon boat or jet ski rentals and much more! The beach and park areas are right next to the marina as well. Basketball courts, sand volleyball, walking paths and hiking trails are also nearby.

There is plenty of off street parking on the long double wide concrete driveway to the garage, wrap around deck w/ outdoor dining. The finished walkout basement doubles as the third living space and fourth bedroom. There is also a full size bed and daybed in the lower level.

This house is spotless from top to bottom and offers great amenities! WIFi for your logins for Netflix HULU Etc ( Smart TV)
a 65" TV on the main level. There is also a 55" LED TV on the lower level and 27" in Master. Foosball in the lower level and gaming shelf in laundry room. We hope this will become an annual vacation home for your family or group!

Lovely Getaway

Spacious home with an incredible view! We were a party of 13 and there was no problem finding room for everybody! This is our second time vacationing here and we plan on going back again next year!

Our family has stayed at Best View on DH for the past 5 years! We love it! Lanny is great to work with and the house has everything we need! The location is great if you are using Sunset Marina! We always have a great time and we are looking forward to 2025!

Great Family Weekend

Thank you to the host. This is our annual lake trip. As our family grows each year it becomes more difficult to find a rental able to accommodate. This rental was perfect and a bonus being so close to Sunset Marina. Besides ourselves and food, we had everything we need for the weekend.

Family Vacation

Very nice property. New deck as well we other upgrades. This is in a quiet area on Dale Hollow Lake. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, this is not it. If you are looking for relaxation, a great view and nice accommodations, this is the perfect spot. We enjoyed our time at this location (for the second year) and plan to return.

The location was magnificent with a beautiful home. The biggest concern is that it was not very clean at check in. Mouse droppings in drawers and basement had not been cleaned.

Great Spot-Wonderful views

We moved our COVID bubble south and had a great time at the property. The location was great, directly above Sunset Marina which gave us many options for activities including boat rental. The views and sunsets were spectacular every night. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans-except for a pasta strainer (we did all of our cooking at home). Overall the property was very clean with the exception of a few spots where the cleaning crew did not do a great job prior to our arrival. Thanks to Lanny for hosting us. Overall, we had a great first experience at Dale Hollow Lake!

Wonderful location but needs attention

This home sits at the bottom of a cul-de-sac and has a wonderful view of Dale Hollow Lake from the back deck. The home has a private driveway and a large yard. Pros: Perfect view of the Marina and lake, large windows in the living room that face the lake, completely stocked kitchen as if the owners stay in this home regularly, three bedrooms have usable mattresses, very close to the marina, three floors of living space, big laundry room with extra sheets, towels, and board games. Spacious home for a large group Cons: Many lights did not have lightbulbs, the family room TV did not work, the daybed and the bunkbed in the family room and the bedroom upstairs with two twins have mattresses you would buy for a camper (adults ended up in them so the kids could sleep after a terrible first night of tossing & turning. The adults felt like they couldn't move in the morning). The upstairs bathroom toilet lid fell off three times, gnats on the kitchen counters, dirty dishes left in the dishwasher from the previous guests, the family room carpet was not vacuumed and my son cut his foot on a piece of glass. Dirty bath towels left in the washing machine. Only the Master bedroom on the first floor has a tv. Despite all the negatives we had a good time. This home's in a wonderful location if you are looking to be on the lake. I would not stay in this home again. Cleanliness, especially during a pandemic, is especially important to my family as well as a comfortable bed to sleep in.

Beautiful setting.

Very nice house. Great view. Can see the marina. All trash had not been removed on arrival. Towels were still in both the washer and dryer. I think that this was one-time issue. We would go back to this location again.

We came from Louisville which was an hour ahead of this property so we went in an hour earlier than we were suppose to and Lenny was so nice about it. We hope to be able to rent this again next year.

Why they chose this property

This property because we admired it for years from the water from the moment it was constructed. Even kidding that there is our Lake house many years ago as we would boat by it. Then in 2014 my son and I made the investment in the Best View Ever on Dale Hollow Lake, come enjoy it with us.

What makes this property unique

Easiest access of any home rental with a view of looking down both views of Dale Hollow. Marina access, beach and boating are literally minutes away.
