This is a great little house for a family of 4 or 5. The property was clean and the basics were provided. Would be nice to have some higher end kitchen items (I.e. cutting boards and mixing bowls). Unfortunately we were disappointed in the beds- the king and queen were very hard. Need to add a soft topper.

Nice space, convenient location.

Arrival and check in was seamless. The house was clean and inviting. Elizabeth had everything we needed for our stay and was great with communications. The location was private and more than enough room. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, cozy, clean cabin

We loved staying here while we celebrated my husbands birthday. Short ride to Asheville, and in a great location. Very clean property, and everything was just right for what we needed. The owner is great with communication and very helpful. I recommend this place highly.

Nice and convenient property

We had a nice stay at this property, it was centrally located between downtown Hendersonville and Brevard which met our needs. It was clean and spacious and met our needs for the week. The property manager was helpful up front and during our stay. Thank you.

Perfect stop

Everything about this cabin was great! We loved the look of it and it was very well situated for our family of 4. The kids were so excited about the day bed and trundle in the living room that they chose to sleep there instead of the 2nd bedroom! It was a great location as well, we would stay again.

Family time!

The property was clean and quiet. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a dog! Easy drive to restaurants in Hendersonville, and only 25 minutes to all of the fun things that Asheville has to offer.

Quaint little cottage!

Very quaint cottage! You get a very good feeling when walk in as if it was your home. Nicely decorated, well furnished property. Easy check in/out. If you don’t mind staying a little bit out of hub were restaurants things to do I would highly recommend this place. The only drawback we had was we were only given access to two towels and washcloths for our entire 4 night stay - would recommend taking your own towels if you need more than one per person.

What you want your rental experience to be!

Our rental experience was pretty much everything you want a rental experience to be. Elisabeth was wonderful, kind and helpful and she even left a vanilla cake on the kitchen table for our arrival! The place was immaculately clean and I wasn't afraid to touch the bedspreads or walk barefooted around the house which, if you're always suspect of other people's cleanliness like me, says quite a bit! And for the price, it think you'd be hard pressed to do better. My wife, two young boys and I stayed there and we all enjoyed it very much. We recommend the Sierra Nevada Brewery in nearby Fletcher, NC for fantastic tapas and neat things for kids to see and the Blackberry Mountain Cafe for breakfast (and likely any other meal). Mezzaluna is also a great restaurant in downtown Hendersonville. We'd all recommend this cabin for your stay!

Relaxing Getaway

We loved the furnishings in this very comfortable and cosy cabin. We also really appreciated all the small touches and amenities the host included. The most pleasant surprise was discovering Hendersonville. It is such a lovely town and we just happened upon the Apple Festival and had a wonderful time. We also enjoyed our time in Ashville which wasn't too far away, but our go to place was the Sierra Nevada brewery with live music and a relaxing ambience and of course the beer. It did rain the whole weekend but that did not dampen our enthusiasm for the cabin or the area. It was a wonderful stay.

Beautiful cottage

Lovely cottage, well equipped, bedding and towels lovely. Only con is that it is dark. It is amidst a forest and in spite of it called “sunny Cottage” the sun was never seen around because of the heavy trees. TV had “issues “. It would shut off in the middle of a show but we could always get it back on. All in all a good stay.

Dog friendly vacation

You cannot go wrong with your stay here. Elizabeth was a amazing host our cabin was so clean . Our location was amazing for the Apple Festival and hiking.

A great place to stay!

This charming cabin was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and convenient to downtown Hendersonville and Flat Rock. Elisabeth is a wonderful host. Communication and check in was quick and easy. She provided great information about restaurants, shopping, activities and points of interest in the area, as well as a book with pictures and descriptions of the other cabins on the property. I would definitely stay in any of her properties again.

A Home Away From Home

The house was exactly as pictured on VRBO. It was exceptionally clean and very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, and it was a great layout for our group of five. We were there for a high school graduation and the location could not have been better. We would gladly stay here again.

Once again, a great stay
