We enjoyed the condo. It was very spacious and the view of the ocean was great. The dryer vent was broken so we contacted maintenance and they were there same day to fix it. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a long weekend and this was a great spot for that. My original booking was canceled due to the company overbooking, and I was not notified until just three days before our scheduled departure. While the property appeared clean at first glance, the bathroom and kitchen were still unsanitary and not up to standard. Additionally, the property management had ongoing issues with my licensed service animal, which made the stay even more stressful. At one point, I was even told by someone from the company to board my service animal, which is completely unacceptable. We were repeatedly locked out of our room and were unable to reach anyone for assistance, as calls went unanswered. On top of that, I was charged for multiple parking passes without clear justification.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The only positive aspect of the stay was being located on the second floor. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations.

Great beach location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was spacious and in an excellent location overlooking the beautiful beach. Parking was easy, but we were there with no crowds. The condo is need of decluttering and some TLC and basic maintenance (like a new microwave, toaster, leaky faucets). Be sure to bring own spices and everything basic you will need for your stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location right on the beach with a pool. It’s close to everything. Our condo was perfect for our family of five plus a grandparent. It would be really nice if the keypad to the door was updated and functional for a keyless entry so people would not have to keep up with keys. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with as far as dishes go but make sure to bring your own spices. We had a great stay and will definitely be staying there again!

Family Vacation

Our stay at Legacy 702 was very enjoyable. The condo was clean and exactly how we expected it to be from the online pictures. It's proximity to the water can't be beat! Our only issues was with parking. We were there for the 4th of July so the area was very busy and many people chose to park in the very small parking lot. We were unable to find a parking spot on two separate occasions. I called the rental agency and they were very nice and had been working to resolve the issue.

Summer vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this condo before- it’s beautiful! The stove could use some work- one eye doesn’t work at all. The microwave turntable doesn’t work, so heating things up can be a little bit of a challenge. The kitchen could use some pizza pans, pizza cutter, and a few bigger cookie sheets. But overall, great place to stay! We are repeat vacationers here and love it! Shortest walk to the beach ever!

Great location, Needs updates

The location was great, very close to the beach. The balcony was nice. The jacuzzi tub would have been nice if the jets were clean. Also, would run out of hot water not even half way to the jets. We had to boil water on the stove in order to soak and relax in the tub. The cold water facet leaks. The wall art was beautiful, however, it wasn't hung straight and bothered my OCD the entire time. Would not stay again. Maybe in another unit.

No brooms or cleaning supplies.. and right at lunch time out of no where a man was standing in the kitchen changing a filter??? No calls, no text, no warning!!! My mother was on the couch napping and my daughter and I was on the balcony. My mother was waken by the man that just came on with a key and changed the filter. Again no warning! Very strange that we did t hear a knock on the door or a callOr text so we could be expecting someone.. my mother was in her nightgown..

Great view and location, not the greatest condo.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the price charged, you would think some upgrades would be made. Cabinets in kitchen and bathroom warping and falling apart, oven door doesn’t close all the way, furniture isn’t comfortable, nearly every piece of silverware was dirty like it was used and just put back in drawer, coffee mug had coffee in it and placed back in cabinet. Condo wasn’t filthy but floors were sandy but it is on a beach :)But the condo was spacious for us, beautiful view, loved the location. I also loved it is a smaller building and not fighting for an elevator all the time. Rental company was easy to work with and went seamlessly. I will be back for sure, just not this condo

Very disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This has been a very disappointing week in your condo. So disappointing that we are leaving a day early. First, after cooking dinner for our family after a long day at the beach we discover the dishwasher doesn’t work. After phone calls were made we find out the broken dishwasher was known about before we ever even arrived and not once were we told. We bought groceries to cooker dinner and were never told we wouldn’t have a dishwasher. There was not a dish strainer even left for us and the sink stopper was even broke and couldn’t be used when we had to hand wash everything. Second, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was not working. Maintenance came out to look at it and said he didn’t have the battery needed for the remote to see if that was the issue. Maintenance came again another day and fixed the fan. While fixing the fan he took his shoes off and stood on the bed we sleep in with his sock feet. He should have put some booties over his feet. Third, the washing machine leaked. This caused us to not be able to wash anything for over 24 hours. Maintenance came and looked at the washer and said it was an old washer and they would have to send an appliance guy the next morning. The next guy showed up the following morning and fixed the washer but in doing so he knocked the dryer vent off the wall for the dryer and there is a big slit in it. This was the final straw and we are know going to leave and get home so we can wash and dry our clothes since we don’t feel safe with yours. This was our first time ever in Gulf Shores. We absolutely love the city. Very clean and not too crowded. Your condo was the only thing disappointing. I hope you do as you say you are and give some compensation. Not just some compensation but fair compensation with what we have endured.

A Great Place to Stay in Gulf Shores

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great experience staying here at Gulf Shores. Making the reservations, checking-in, & checking-out were some of the easiest we’ve experienced with vacation rentals. The location is great with good parking. The unit itself is great, especially for two families to share. There’s a lot of room and a great view from the balcony & the living room & master bedroom off the balcony. The new appliances & pots & pans in the kitchen were wonderful. (A few more forks would be good.) The only complaints/suggestions we had were the cleanliness of the floors & living room rug. The unit overall seemed clean, and the floors had been swept or vacuumed, but they needed a good mopping (as well as the balcony) & the living room rug just needs to be replaced. You could tell from the bottom of feet or white socks, after walking around for a few minutes , that the floors really needed to be mopped. In hopes that this will be done in the future, we would recommend this rental to others, and we would stay there again.
