Stunning cottage inside and out with stunning views and right by the sea
Set against the most stunning backdrop, the rugged coastline of Donegal, this spacious cottage is truly an escapists paradise right by the sea. This beautiful and recently renovated Irish stone cottage stands bearly 20 meters from the Atlantic ocean and exudes a real feeling of peace, calm and tranquility.
Thoughtful touches and soft muted tones mixed with the natural elements of wood and contemporary touches of glass and chrome combine with modern conveniences to create a relaxing and comfortable home-from-home with a great space for easy living. Located on the amazing Donegal coastline, this property is wonderfully remote yet very conveniently sited: The Sea House overlooks a beautiful bay with views out to Burtonport and the islands of Inishfree and Aran Mór, it’s a 3 minute drive to Maghery with it's local pub and beautiful sandy beach and a 5 minute drive to the small bustling town of Dongloe.
The Sea House has two bedrooms, a kingsize and a twin, both simply and elegantly furnished with views to the beach, and surrounding countryside. The open-plan kitchen, dining room & living room is the focal point of the home with a lovely open peat fire. The feature picture window offers breathtaking views directly on to the bay the islands beyond. The fully fitted kitchen includes a, dishwasher, oven and hob. A washing machine can be found in the outbuilding just by the side of the house.
There is also a cosy snug with a huge heart warming stove to warm the cockles after a long walk across the beach and there is a gorgeous bathroom with a power shower. Additional facilities include a flat screen local TV, & DVD player. The stove, oil fired central heating and high performance double-glazed windows ensure a cosy, comfy living environment no matter what the weather is doing outside. The dining area with a large dining table accommodates 8-10 people.
