Great place to stay.

A lovely, spacious cottage with everything you need. Beautiful surroundings in a quiet location within easy reach of the local town of Burley and The Forest. The owner, Anne, was friendly and very helpful and we all had a great time here.

Great Place in the New Forest

We were in the UK for a family wedding in the nearby village of Bransgore and were also looking forward to exploring the New Forest National Park (which did not disappoint!)The property served as a great base of operations with plenty of space to accommodate 4 adults (two couples) and one child under 2. We especially enjoyed the outdoor courtyard filled with a lovely array of flowering plants. The host, Anne, was easily accessible and very pleasant to work with.

Lovely location, perfect get away cottage

Anne is the perfect host and made us very welcome. We had a great family get together, walking the forest and visiting the coast. The cottage made a great base to do that.

Beautiful location; in the midst of the forest. Property is close to host's house and another cottage owned by the host. Other than that, you're totally in nature.Lovely cottage, not big, but good enough size.Nicely decorated, clean and well-stocked.Anne and husband were so friendly and came across as being genuine. But not too much; completely left us on our own, unless we needed something.Highly recommend by all of us.

We will be back!

An amazing cottage in the New Forest- ponies really did walk by. Anne ( the host) was wonderful. She met us the first day and was there at checkout. Fun evenings of barbecues and a fire pit. This was an adults only weekend of siblings- can’t wait to come back with our children and grandchildren. They will love it !

Lovely cottages in fabulous forest setting

Anne and Ral are wonderful hosts. We were welcomed with a decadent gift of homemade cakes and a bottle of Prosecco. The location is secluded and magical- great walks from the cottages. We saw a white buck at the front gate.

Beautiful property right on the Forest - ponies a stones throw from your doorstep! A warm and friendly welcome from our host Anne who provided all the details we needed ahead of time and lovely welcome treats in the cottage. Would have loved to stay longer!

Our stable stay

Beautiful conversion, this stable is clean, light, airy, well furnished, comfortable and contains everything one could need for a stay. There was wine and a cake to greet us and a welcoming note. Lovely hosts. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend this beautiful place.

We had a lovely stay here. The hosts were fantastic and communication was great. The house was well stocked for everything we needed. The bed was small for two adults but we knew the size before we arrived. And there were a lot of (harmless) flying bugs around.

Wonderful Location

This was exactly what we had been looking for! Comfortable accommodation with privacy and in a beautiful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, and I think our dog enjoyed it even more. Great walks on the doorstep and a very nice 30 minute walk away from roads down into Burley for nice pubs and cafes. Also recommend a visit to the local store and trying some of the local butchers products. The property was comfortable and clean with a nice outdoor area which we enjoyed. We would definitely recommend a visit :)

What a beautiful house and great location!

We really loved staying at this house. It’s in the perfect location, stepping out straight into the woods. We spotted 4 deer at sunset on one day, and came across many of the wild horses that roam around in the area. Several great walks in nearby woods too. We recommend visiting the Raptor Centre nearby too. The house was perfect for us. Everything you could need. It was clean & tidy. We really appreciated the bottle of Prosecco & a lovely chocolate cake! Anne greeted us and came to say goodbye thank you Anne & family for hosting us :) We hope to return again to explore some more.

Lovely, quiet and comfortable

Thanks Anne and Ral What a lovely break for new year in a remote New Forest cottage. Ideal for walks, mountain biking and generally chilling out- cottage is clean, well equipped and comfy. Will defo stay again. Hosts are lovely and left is to it - most helpful was the ability to charge my EV on site as well. We had shocking weather but it didn’t matter - a lovely cottage in a lovely part of the world. The oil heating is robust and we spent most of the time with it off as it gets very warm quickly and we didn’t need it. Highly recommended

Fantastic property in amazing location with lovely owner!

Thank you to Anne the owner, for a fantastic stay in your lovely house, in an amazing location in the woods. The house was very clean and very well maintained, simple check in process and a huge chocolate cake and bottle of fizz welcomed our arrival. It's also a lovely stroll through the woods to the center of Burley with its pubs/restaurants, cafes and well stocked shop. Plus all the shops and supermarkets in nearby Ringwood. Wonderful property in a superb location

Had a fantastic two night stay with family. Anne couldn’t have been more helpful with the booking and directions and the cottage itself is beautiful, homely with every comfort you could wish for. The location is stunning, beautifully quiet but not by any means “remote” with walks out on to the Forest straight from the door. Saw numerous wild horses and even a deer joining them in the field. Thank you Anne for making us feel so welcome and also for the cake and wine which we forgot to thank you for at the time! We can’t wait to stay again. Kevin and family.

Beautiful accommodation

Exceeded expectations. Lovely spacious and fresh interior. Nice outdoor space for alfresco dinning, Perfect for a family holiday. Central to travel to other places in the New Forest, despite not being situations centrally in Burley Village. Would definitely recommend & hope to return one day.

The Stables provides an idyllic location for a peaceful holiday with the family yet you have all the facilities a short distance away. Walk straight out of the main gates and you are in one of the most beautiful National Parks yet so close to beaches and amenities. Ringwood is 3 miles away and has all the facilities you may need like Waitrose, David Lloyd, Ringwood Leisure Centre and good restaurants and coffee shops. If you want beaches then there are many a short 20-minute drive with restaurants and coffee shops.
