Acorn cottage is a beautiful house in a stunning location, it has everything you need.We were blessed with fabulous weather so we spent a lot of time in the garden. Lovely pub that does great Sunday roasts 10 minute walk up the lane.

Everything you would ever need for a stay, an amazing host (Maria) a great cottage with everything you need, well located, including a short walk to Lyndhurst and a short drive everywhere else. Lots of walks for the dogs and great recommendations for local restaurants!

The house is as amazing as described in the reviews. Really peaceful and relaxing, sat in nature. We loved - the books, the birds in the garden, the fire, the cosy dining room, the baths, the walks, the pub, and the nice touches Maria had waiting for our arrival. Would love to go again.

Fabulous tranquil setting with forest ponies right outside the door. Our host was really helpful and quick to respond. The house was really comfortable, well equipped and the equipment / towels were really high quality. The nearby Oak pub did us proud for food and drink, and there were abundant forest walks in every direction. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful and tranquil luxury hideaway

All I can say is that the listing does not do this charming and luxurious cottage, in a beautiful location and with a delightful host justice! We had a fabulous stay and I cannot recommend enough!

Lovely house in great location. The rooms are all a good size and the house is catered brilliantly, especially the kitchen for those that love cooking. We will definitely be returning!

Charming home away from home

This property was even better in person than the pictures, it was perfection. We could of stayed longer and there was as much in the house as out the house to do, my 7 year old was happy for hours playing with toys inside and outside, me and my older daughter felt very relaxed and happy pottering around. Acorn cottage really was an ideal home away from home.

Delightful cottage in an idyllic location

We all loved Acorn Cottage. It is a hidden gem set in a fabulous location. The huge garden and glorious weather made for a perfect weekend. The cottage is extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Our host was very friendly and super helpful.

Charming cottage

We (a family of four) spent a fantastic holiday in this charming cottage, and it was everything we hoped for. Both the cottage itself and the garden were ideal, with all the amenities we needed for a most enjoyable stay. The location was ideal for exploring nearby trails and the local pub! Overall, it was a great experience, and we would certainly return!

Lovely guests who were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They looked after the cottage, observed our house rules & left the cottage very clean and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michelle and hope to welcome her back.
