Jose was a fabulous host with local recommendations and always responsive. The apartment couldn't be in a more ideal place to take walks to the castle, old town and the beach. Appreciated having beach chairs and umbrellas to save on rentals.

There is NO free parking here as indicated on the listing on Expedia. parking is 30 Euros per 24 hr period, but every time you leave it resets, so we spent about 100 Euros over 48 hrs coming and going. Also we had to park on the a public garage about a block away. It was a nice location, and the host was very nice and accommodating.

La Malagueta

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay in this apartment. It is in a great location just a stones throw from the beach. Lovely to eat breakfast and look out over the beach & sea. Just a very short walk from the lovely port area with excellent promenade past lovely boats and many good restaurants & bars. Only about a 20 minute stroll through park area to centre of Malaga too so perfect location for visiting all fantastic sightseeing areas as well as relaxing on beach front. The owner José was lovely and very helpful- offering fantastic sightseeing tips and restaurant recommendations. The use of his electric scooters and bicycles made for a fantastic day out ‘scooting’ up the coast to chiringuitos for excellent seafood. Malaga is a fantastic city too- loved it all. Gill, Jon & Tom

Wonderful place to stay

My husband and I just stayed for 11 nights in this apartment. The location is fabulous and so convenient to everything. Right across the street is the promenade and the beach where you can take nice long walks. The old town is easy 15 minute walk away with all of the historical sites so many tapas places. Jose Luis was so helpful and gave us many ideas and suggestions for places to enjoy a meal or a snack. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It was so nice each morning to watch the sunrise from the balcony with a cup of coffee. The view is beautiful. We plan to return to Malaga again and would stay here again. Thank you Jose Luis for making our stay very enjoyable.

pros: location made it easy to view the sea and walk to the beach and the shopping/dining area. The owner was very polite and helpful and always responded when we had a question or problem (such as the power outage first day of our stay). The apartment was clean and the bedroom situation was perfect for us- nice King bed and 2 twin beds in separate room. He provided helpful amenities (towels, hair dryer and some showering products). Free washing machine included (although no dryer there were convenient clothes lines to hang clothes) cons: broken shower drain so we had to stand on a sliding plastic insert and the shower was very small which made it challenging to shave. We do not feel parking was “included” as advertised. Parking was a nuisance and we paid for it each day and also received tickets. It was confusing and an problem each day we were there and of course being on vacation we did not want to deal with this.
