A few minutes from the town up in the hills stands this rural farmhouse located on a dead end road.the big private garden is superior, surrounded by green.

The gazebo offers a shaded place to enjoy the fresh air and the nature.

The terrain (10000 m2) has a covered car parking that is also suited to host a brunch or dinner

It has several different trees and bushes carrying apples, pears, apricots, peaches, nuts, berries etc.

The region is well known for its wine, food and especially the truffles.

Barolo is not far, Alba and Asti are a short drive away and Bra, the birth place of slow cooking is not that far either.

The views from the hills in the area are spectacular and wandering tours as well as cycling tours are very enjoyable.

The house is free standing and will be rented to one group at the time so no other people will be living in the house or use the pool or garden.

Great family holiday

We stayed at the house with extended family, including 4 young boys. It was perfect for us - lots of space, and the pool, trampoline and table tennis kept the kids busy. The location is great - only a few minutes into Canelli, shops and amazing restaurants and wine cellars to visit. The food and wine in the area is incredible. The house was very relaxed, and perfect for an energetic family. Hosts were great - always immediately responsive, communicative and easy to reach with questions. Enjoyed lots of nice meals outside (although needed bug spray to keep away mosquitoes!) including tomatoes and fruit straight of the vines and trees on the property.

Oasis in the vineyards – great base for exploring beautiful Piemont!

We had a great stay in Canelli! Jan's place is an absolute gem, nestled in the hills above Canelli, surrounded by vines with stunning views, a pool, ping pong table, barbecue, etc. The house itself is spacious, well-furnished, and features a modern kitchen with everything you need to cook delicious meals. Best of all, it's secluded enough to make it perfectly safe if you want to let your children roam freely, yet still close enough to easily zip into town. Canelli itself is gorgeous, essentially the picture postcard-version of a Piemontese town. It's also easy to tour the rest of stunning Piemonte, whether it's Alba, Barolo, or Asti you want to see. We had a few questions arise during our stay but Jan was very responsive. We'd return in a heartbeat!

Wir hatten Anfangs Schwierigkeiten mit einem Hornissennest. Der Gastgeber war jedoch durchgehend erreichbar und hat sich sofort darum gekümmert. Er hat für zwei Tage in der Nähe eine Unterkunft für uns organisiert, hat Leute geschickt um das Nest zu entfernen und danach war auch alles super . Keine Hornissen mehr. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Gastgeber

Heerlijk huis, fijne ligging, lekker zwembad. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig! Goede airco bij warm weer. Vlakbij heel leuk niet toeristisch dorp met alle voorzieningen. Lekker ruim, goede slaapkamers met fijne bedden. Kortom wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad!

Canelli

Een pracht huis op een pracht plek bij Canelli. We hebben genoten van alles in en om het huis, alles was aanwezig wat we nodig hadden. Een aanrader voor rustzoekers, genieters van de Itatilaanse gast vrijheid. De omgeving van Canelli is prachtig en de wijn die er verbouwd wordt is heerlijk.

Zeer mooie en ruime vakantiewoning met alles erop en eraan. We hadden temperaturen van 33 tot 36 graden dus de airco was een zeer mooie luxe. We hadden het nooit te warm om te slapen. Zeer proper zwembad waar onze kids heel wat uren hebben gespeeld. Mooi en enorm rustig gelegen. Er was maar 1 probleem en dat waren de vele muggen die ons zeer lekkere hapjes vonden. Dit vakantiehuis is zeker een aanrader. Bedankt voor de mooie tijd!

Großes Ferienhaus inmitten der Natur

Großes, absolut ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus inmitten der Natur und der Weinberge. Nach Canelli sind es mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten; auch zu Fuß kann man in die Stadt spazieren. Beeindruckend ist die vielfältige Pflanzen- und Tierwelt i n der nahen Umgebung. Der Swimmingpool und das Trampolin waren besonders für die Kinder ein Genuss. Das Haus ist geräumig und mit allem eingerichtet, was man benötigt. Kleine technische Mängel minderten den Genuss nur ganz geringfügig.

Deux familles avec 5 enfants (5/11 ans)

Août 2023, deux familles découvrent le Piémont au sein d'une villa toute prête pour les accueillir. Tout y était un régal, la piscine, la villa spacieuse, l'ombre des oliviers, la douceur de vivre , la disposition de Jan et Davor... Merci pour cette parenthèses enchantée.

Lekker ontspannen in Canelli

Leuk, compleet en ruim huis met veel mogelijkheden om je zowel bij het huis als in de omgeving te vermaken. Mede door het prachtige weer hebben we een fijne week gehad. Het contact met de eigenaar was erg goed. Ondanks dat hij op afstand is, regelde hij indien nodig dat de zaken adequaat werden afgehandeld. Goede service! De aanwezigheid van een zwembad is echt van meerwaarde. Verder is er rond het huis ruime zitgelegenheid. De woning biedt datgene wat in de omschrijving wordt vermeld.

Heel fijn huis, mooie locatie en aardige eigenaar

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad! Lekker en groot zwembad, ping pong, fijne avonden aan de lange tafel buiten, luieren op een ligbed en die staan er genoeg, tomaten en bramen uit de moestuin, barbecueën… Genieten! Ruime woning met ruime slaapkamers, zeer complete keuken en voldoende handdoeken aanwezig. Buiten zijn er verschillende zit mogelijkheden in de zon en in de schaduw. Door de eigenaar geadviseerd over leuke uitstapjes dus echt genoten!

Jolie région et maison agréable

Jolie maison. Spacieuse et confortable pour neuf personnes, sauf le débit et la pression d'eau, ainsi que l'eau chaude. Literie très confortable. Région magnifique, les vignobles sont superbes. Jolis petits villages. Propriétaire gentil et réactif. Piscine agréable. Beaucoup de moustiques, prévoir équipements. Séjour entre amis dépaysant et très doux dans cette maison et dans cette région.

Après votre avis , j'ai commandé le plombier qui a installé le système il y a des années et il a confirmé que le système de chauffage et la pompe à eau ne fonctionnaient pas correctement en raison d'un défaut et il a résolu le problème. Toutes mes excuses, je n'étais pas au courant ! Normalement, la pression est très élevée et l'eau chaude disponible à des températures élevées. Merci pour votre séjour et le bon contact, vous étiez d'excellents invités! Vous êtes toujours les bienvenus à Casa Papa !

Warme week - 2 gezinnen met kinderen

We verbleven in een zéér warme week in Canelli. Het zwembad was dan ook fantastisch! In het huis werd het onvermijdelijk ook warm, zodat de bestelde airco's voor volgende zomer zeker welkom zullen zijn. Wij waren met 2 gezinnen op vakantie en er was voldoende plaats voor alle kinderen om te spelen, voldoende huisvoorraad en handdoeken aanwezig voor een grote groep. De living beneden is wat verouderd, maar deze boven is een fantastische ruimte. Jan was ook zeer bereikbaar en hulpvaardig voor allerlei practische vragen en tips over de zeer mooie omgeving. Bedankt daarvoor!

Heerlijk huis op de heuvel van Canelli

Mooi oud huis wat met zorg wordt beheerd. Mooie locatie, niet al te toeristisch vlakbij het dorp met alles wat je nodig hebt. Er zijn 4 slaapkamers 2 met twee persoons bed, 1 met twee persoonsbed en baby bed en 1 slaapkamer met stapelbed en uitschuif bed waardoor twee persoons. Ruime complete keuken. Je auto kan fijn onder de carport waar ook de tafeltennistafel staat ruim genoeg. Veel zit plekken met overkapping, hadden we nodig want het weer was super. Fijn zwembad waar 1x per week een “poolboy” , is een bedrijf maar het klinkt zo leuk, voor komt. Communicatie met de eigenaar snel en prettig.

Everything according to description provided on the website. Landlord was very helpful and outgoing. Good place for resting and visiting neighbourhood including Torino, Genova and Cinqueterre. Canelli also offers a lot of good restaurants and nice sightseeing. Garden staff was enough to barbecue, sunbathe and rest in the swimming pool. Tomatoes from the garden were dellicious :) Together with friends we spent a wonderful holidays in here.

Verde silenzio pace bellezza

Casa rustica in un contesto di verde e natura, ben attrezzata, splendido spazio all'aperto! Host molto disponibile e presente per qualsiasi problema. Vacanza di famiglia con nonni e bambini davvero splendida in questo luogo in cui ci siamo sentiti a casa!

Relaxing Family holiday house

The house is beautifully renovated and equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. There is a lovely mature garden with great places for kids to play and explore. Pool was clean and well kept and great for a cooling dip. The house is located on its own so no worries about the kids making too much noise! Just 5 minutes drive away Canelli had a choice of supermarkets and restaurants. There was plenty to do in the area, aside from all of the wine and food options, we had a great day hunting down many of the Big Benches in the area. We loved our stay her, it was an ideal location for a family with small kids or a group and we would defintely return here again.

Merveilleuses vacances au milieu des vignes

La maison de Jan a été un petit paradis pour nos vacances. Perché sur une colline au milieu des vignes, cette jolie maison italienne est confortable et adaptée à tous même les plus jeunes. La piscine est de bonne taille et le jardin est agréable. Davor, qui aide Jan sur place, a été d’une grande gentillesse pour rendre notre séjour en Italie le plus agréable possible. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !!

Una bella esperienza post lockdown

Jan è un proprietario premuroso e ha dei validi aiutanti sul posto. Siamo stati in 10 (7 adulti e 3 bambini) per un mese nella casa. La splendida connessione wifi ha consentito ai genitori dei bimbi di lavorare in smart working mentre i nonni e la zia si occupavano dei bambini. Salamandre, ghiri, lucertole hanno riempito le giornate dei più piccoli tra un bagno in piscina e l altro. La consiglio.

Prachtig rustig gelegen huis

Wat hebben we een heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit mooie grote huis. Bovenop een berg en een grote tuin met fruitbomen en voldoende schaduwplekken. Fijn groot zwembad en voldoende ligbedden om te zonnen. Het huis heeft meerdere kamers en dat is voor een groot gezin ideaal, veel ruimtes om te vertoeven. Het contact met de nederlandse eigenaar verliep erg prettig. We komen graag nog een keer terug.

When entering for the first time I was amazed by its beauty and instantly decided to buy it.

Why they chose this property

The property has been partly renovated from the original state to a more modern vacation home.

The location is great for people looking for a peaceful and quiet place to relax and enjoy. The private garden is big and offers plenty of activities for kids and their parents.The region offers a wide variety of activities from good and affordable dining and wining to museums, pittiresk villages and cities. Plenty of activities are organized like the truffle festival in Alba (less then 30 km away).

What makes this property unique

The high speed internet is making working from home easy. The garden is offering plenty of options to explore without coming into contact with others. The house and garden will be rented out to one group at the time so no other guests will be around.
