In detail: This is is the converted coach-house and wash-house of a fine old Victorian home built in the 1860's. There is a separate entrance for your accommodation so you are in your own private space.

This is what you get:
Upstairs double bedroom
Downstairs bed/sitting room (with an extra bed on platform above)
New shower room with unlimited mains pressure hot water.
Newly fitted kitchen
Private off street parking (ample space for 2 cars)
Small outside seating area.

The first double bedroom is the old hayloft of the coach-house. Very light and spacious with one window overlooking our courtyard and another overlooking our garden. The floor is wooden. The ceilings are sloping and there are old wooden beams. There's a super king-size bed. And an L-shaped desk study area for working away from home. There is a 4k UHD Smart TV.

The living room downstairs is the old wash-house. A very characterful room with exposed brickwork, an old solid fuel iron cooking range and high sloping ceiling.
There is a 4k UHD Smart TV and sound system.
And a king-size sofa bed.
On a raised platform above this room there is an additional small double bed. (4ft) (Actually even a bit smaller because it's metric). Ideal for a single person or two children. This bed is accessed up a steep narrow staircase. (Mind your head!).

There's a little seating area outside - just for you!

The Old Coach House has been extensively renovated with new carpets and redecoration.

There's a really good wifi signal and ultra high speed internet connection. The Old Coach House has its own wifi access point to a Virgin Media 1GB fibre optic broadband connection.

You have two smart TVs with full internet connectivity for connection to Netflix, Amazon, BBC iplayer, etc. (Bring your own login details for access to premium services)

In the kitchen you have an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, and washer dryer. There are two cafes very close by if you want to go out for breakfast. And there's a local bakery just round the corner selling fresh bread. For meals later in the day there's traditional pub food at the nearby Byron House pub. And a multitude of different eating places and local pubs a short walk away.

If you need a travel cot or high chair, do ask, we can usually let you borrow ours.
The Old Coach House has it's own independent gas central heating and unlimited hot water. All bedding is 100% cotton. And there are plenty of towels - no need to bring your own.
