Hi. The accommodations were awesome! Very cool place and very spacious! It was a bit hard to find due to it not being well marked and with road construction. Would definitely stay there again though.

Perfect location to be near family

We have family in South Holland, so this location was perfectly located to be close to them and still have our own place to stay. Well designed cottage met our needs for 3 adults. Away from the hustle of the city, rural setting, would happily book again.

Perfect for relaxing

Spacious accomodation with nice flair. Perfect for having calm and peaceful holidays. And if it gets too calm and peaceful, Rotterdam, Delft, Den Haag and the Beach are not far away. Best mixture and absolutely recommendable!

Wheelchair accessible

We stayed with our daughter who uses a powerchair - houses works really well - doors wide and only step into the house but the host kindly told us of that so we came with a small ramp - all good!

Very cozy House

It was a very pleasant stay. Due to our activities we didn't have too much time to enjoy the place (or use the grill). Me and my partner are already missing the dog.

Beautiful home in peaceful location

The house was immaculate and in a lovely location opposite a canal. The house was set up well with insect netting to prevent the flies getting in. There were chickens outside where we found eggs and lovely views of the cows in the neighbouring fields. A great stay!

Excellent rural getaway

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. It’s an easy visit to Rotterdam or Delft or the beach at Hoek van Holland. Even Amsterdam and Schiphol airport are about an hour away. We loved the peaceful rural location and taking walks by the canal. The unique haystack house was solidly built and very comfortable. The property owners were very kind, and always available if we needed them.

property itself and location very good.

We loved the house and location. However lacking in amenities. No mirrors anywhere near plugs. We rented 2 double bedrooms for 2 people but when we arrived they had made up half of each double bed. Never seen that before. The “double beds” were actually 2 twins pushed together. We each were issued one small bath towel. This could be a great stay if they upgraded a bit. Setting fantastic.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Under each mirror is a plug present with a cap to protect it from incoming water. They look like a light-switch though. I will explain future guests. The beds are double beds with two mattresses and two blankets. Not two beds pushed together. One can aske for extra or bigger Towels for free.

Great apartment in a great location, perfect host.

The apartment was spotless with everything you needed to be home away from home. It was very unique and comfortable. it was very spacious and overlooked the farming area so peaceful and relaxing. The bed and bed linen were of quality which make for a perfect nights sleep. Parking was available right outside the door which was appreciated. If travelling with more than 2 people there is a second toilet and wash basin upstairs next to the second bedroom, where the wash machine is also located. It was a great apartment for exploring Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague and surround areas. We would highly recommended stay here. You can even collect the eggs from the chickens right outside your front door. Thanks Marteen.

Wir hatten leider nur ein Wochenende in Maartens schönem Haus. Es ist ein absoluter Wohlfühlplatz mit hochwertigem Innenausbau und schöner und großzügiger Ausstattung. Es war schön, dass Maarten uns die Geschichte des Hauses erzählt hat. Wäre das Wetter nicht so gut und Delft so nahe gewesen, wäre ich noch länger auf dem Sofa liegen geblieben und hätte die Dachkonstruktion bestaunt. Auch ich muss anfügen: sich morgens das Frühstücksei selber zu holen, hat was. Vielen Dank an Maarten und seine Familie.

Rad-Urlaub mit Freunden

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Für kleine Personen ist der Backofen zu hoch angebracht. Ein Fliegengitter vor der Terrassentür wäre schön gewesen.Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt!!!

Tolle Fewo mit wunderschöner Umgebung

Schöne Lage mit guter Anbindung an die hiesigen Fahrradwege und kurze Autowege nach Delft, Den Haag und Rotterdam. Eine Erkundung lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Die schöne und praktische Architektur der Ferienwohnung ist einzigartig!

Wunderschönes Haus im Grünen

Das Haus liegt sehr schön in der Natur und trotzdem nah an schönen Städten. Die Ausstattung ist bis auf Kleinigkeiten umfangreich, ausreichend Platz für zwei Paare, die bereit sind, sich eine Duscjhe zu teilen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

La struttura è veramente deliziosa, la casa di design è nuova e pulitissima. Calda al punto giusto. Letti comodi. Marteen ci ha permesso di prendere le chiavi e lasciare il bagaglio in casa anche se l'orario del check in era molto più tardi.
