Luxury Lake James Home & Entertainment Cabin- Lake James, IN

The Luxury Lake James 2-story home and entertainment cabin offers GORGEOUS views of Lake James, perfect for waking up to watch the sunrise over the water.

(Please note, any reviews before July 2021 were reviews from my two old cabins before the home was built)

The home offers 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, a fireplace, and a deck equipped with a gas-lined grill overlooking Lake James.

The entertainment cabin has a bathroom, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, and outdoor gas-lined grill. Also included is a large screen TV w/ surround sound and two garage doors open to the lakeside deck. The cabin has a large walkout deck with access to the private dock. The lakeside entertainment cabin will only be made available during the summer months (May through September).

Guest access:
All guests will enjoy contactless entry, and guests will have access to both the home and entertainment cabin, two gas-lined grills, parking spaces, and a boat dock.

-Sleeps up to 8 people total.
-Close proximity to several restaurants/bars at "The 4 Corners" Waterfront Bistro, Acapulco Mexican, Club Paradise, The 6 on James, Tom's Donuts & Food Truck, Coney Connection
-30' Private dock
-Private parking for four vehicles plus boat trailer parking
-Clean bedding, towels, coffee makers, microwaves, gas oven, refrigerators,
two gas-lined grills and deck furniture

The firepit area on the 2nd level is for owner use only and will be blocked off.
The lakeside entertainment cabin will only be made available during the summer months (May through September).

Testimonial:
Travis's place on Lake James was very nice for our 7-night visit. Indeed the lakehouse and its companion building by the dock are well-maintained and relatively new. It was well furnished and nicely appointed with attention to details of design. We were there for a family reunion, seven of us, and we selected it partly because of the dock for our boat. Price and fees seemed high initially, but during our visit and afterward, the overall experience for everyone made it worth the cost. Views of sunrise over the quiet morning lake were very good. Master suites on the upper floor were exceptionally comfortable. Parking was ample and easy. Because of the site's slope from the parking to the lake, there are many stairs up and down the property that are good for exercise. People with mobility issues may find it challenging. The lower building, with its deck, barbecue, and large screened-in space opening to the lake, was an evening favorite for conversation and games.

We had a great time visiting Lake James and this house was the main reason. The house is nicely furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. The boathouse cabin was a big hit and was very convenient Being able to stop there to freshen up or rest during the day while boating was especially helpful since our two grandchildren were with us.

Wonderful family vacation

Travis’s house was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Lake James! The house was perfect. Location on the lake can’t be beat! It’s close to restaurants and the marina, has a great view of the lake, and a great spot to swim. We will definitely be back!

Summer Vacation

We had a great week at the lakes while staying at this property. The house was clean and well stocked with everything needed to be comfortable. The owner communicated well. We would not hesitate to say again. Highly recommended!!!

Summer Trip at Lake James in Indiana

We live only about 2 hours away from this place and decided to book it for a week in the summer. We rented a pontoon while staying here and had a blast. The rental was clean and well-stocked. There are multiple restaurants close by and others not too far away. The lake itself is great for fishing and tubing. We spent hours on the lake and being able to quickly stop by the rental made the vacation amazing.

Dream Stay on Lake James

Fulfilled a "bucket list" trip by renting Travis' beautiful home on Lake James. The home is brand new, ultra-clean and thoughtfully designed. The lake cabin at the lake's edge was the perfect place to entertain family + friends, while keeping the main house for ourselves. Like many Lake James homes this property has a lot of stairs. Your calves will feel it after a few days. But, a small price to pay for gorgeous sunrises and million dollar views.

Great location with old cabins

The owner was very easy to work with. He helped me get several questions answered ahead of time. The property has two cabins on it which are both very old, but they get the job done. The lake itself is wonderful and the dock on the property is in great shape. We found someone in the area that rents jet skis and we rented two of them for a few days. It was fun taking them around Lake James and going to the nearby park via jet ski to play sand volleyball. We also found a floating Galley in the middle of the lake that serves food. It was really good! All in all, it was a very fun trip, just be ready to expect small, older style cabins, just as the pictures depict.

Some bedsheets were dirty and stained. Mattresses were stained. Both cottages had a musty smell. Dirty refrigerator (rusted) door. Both showers extremely small. Shower in two bedroom rust stained and look dirty. Wifi not working in two bedroom cottage.

Great property. Will definitely come back again!

This property was great for a group. Being able to split up between both of the houses has huge advantages. Both houses fully stocked with everything you could need; dishes, cookware, grill utensils, towels, blankets, etc. The boat dock was great for a pontoon that we rented as well. Within walking distance to the popular bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will be returning next year.

The view is Amazing!

This was the 3rd time that my family and I have stayed on Lake James, and this was by far my favorite time here! The view from these two properties, especially the top cabin is Fabulous! In addition, I absolutely loved having the two separate cabins to separate the family and kids. Both cabins have decks that were every night when we were back from walking to one of the close restaurants, or Toms donut shop in the morning. We can't wait to stay here again next summer and utilize the dock by renting a boat again. Thanks for the great memories at your cabin! ~Courtney Peters and Family

Wonderful location

We had a great stay at the cabins. Property and cabins were clean and matched the pictures on listing exactly. We were able to split our group up among the 2 cabins which gave us plenty room to sleep and hang out. Both cabins have big decks with seating to relax by the water. We were able to use the dock to hook our boat up to when we wanted a break from the water. The cabins were an easy walk from many restaurants and bars which was a huge plus! The owner was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had. Great rental and would definitely stay again!
